I had stopped going to Ross because of the ridiculous long lines and ALWAYS ALWAYS 1 cashier. It's still the same. However there is ONE Employee Adrianna who is always very kind and helpful. I always think she's the only employee that works as a cashier because every time I go in there, she's the only one working the register. HEMET IS a Senior Community. So it's a really big bummer to have to stand and wait in long lines, when you are older and have aches and pains! I would like for once, to walk into the store and there be a miracle that there is more than just one person working the register!!! But it hasn't happened yet!! and no, I will not use the self check out, I'm not an employee. I believe they're hoping that people just use self check out so that they don't have to hire more employees, but it's not gonna happen with me. Either way KUDOS to Adrianna she is an incredible employee and a true asset to Ross. She seems to really enjoy serving the customers and is always smiling, it's really too bad that no one comes out and helps her on another register. A better Ross location so far, with a lot of item knick knacks and what not, I probably spent more time in here than any other Ross just because so many stuffs to explore, their space is decent, not huge, but enough to fill everything daily, it's a little hard to navigate yourself around because the gap between the isles are very tight, if you and 3-4 more people going thru stuffs on the same isle, it will be a hassle, some isle are not very organized, stuffs felt on the ground, get super dirty. They don't a have a lot of options for hats, shoes and shirts, but everything else seems to be on point. The tips for every Ross I went, if you found anything Versace, Gucci, Chanel, Northface, True Religion, Under Armor then don't think twice to grab them. For 2nd tier Champion, Nike, Adidas, MK, Guess, CK, grab them too, but you can wait for the prices to go down a little bit more,. I love the Ross in Temecula off Temecula Parkway! They are clean and organized! Stock is full of great selections and options!! The prices are such a great bargain for items that are well worth it!! The Stock merchandisers are kind and organize really well! They also do not hesitate to help people on the sales floor. The cashiers are friendly and treat you like a friend! The security is kind and greets you with a smile as soon as you walk in. The racks are now getting more full which is a bargain shoppers dream! The styles are up to date and plentiful! I highly recommend they hire a couple sales floor helpers, people who walk around and just straighten and ask customers if they need help finding anything, I think that would be a perfect addition to this store and provide exceptional service. I went to shop for shoes and dress for prom as I went in the store the 2 sps which are not professional security just regular people , anyway as I was walking to shoe department one sps follow me to the women shoe department and pretended to be picking up shoes just to look at me . As I was walking to dresses the other sps follow . There was a lot of people shopping but she decided to fu** with me . These are just dumb bit*** trying to act hard . I know because this is not the first time the act unprofessional and rude . I can't help but think of the American Dad episode where Roger finds a pair of shorts that actually look good on him when I check this place out. The store is messy enough where you think "maybe I can find a little nook in which to find that one clothing piece I've been searching for!" I didn't. Which isn't anyone's fault. It's the nature these types of stores. What I did find was a lot of dresses that could have been cute but someone who was too big for them obviously tried them on and broke 'em. So sad. It is sort of unsettling that when you walk in you are greeted by a uniformed guard. It makes me wonder what crazy stuff has gone down in this Ross. Sucked getting racially profile at Ross tonight. I know the security people were just doing their job but dude it sucked being followed. My husband says it was him that they were looking at because he was wearing his Raider shirt. I'm a nice honest girl with money in the bank. And the cashier to let me know my total as we were paying. You know what people? It's Ross for crying out loud! Everyone knows what to expect when they come here. It's going to be cluttered, messy and customer service is probably not going to be great. But, I've never been to one Ross where it was nice and clean. Maybe in Beverly Hills. LOL. They usually have a little bit of everything and I found a really cute backpack purse here for super cheap! Just what I needed for a long day at Disneyland. Prices are great and yes, you do have to do some scrounging, but I come here prepared for a long trip. Customer service is okay. Nothing special. Loss prevention guys need some training on criminal profiling . Walked in and front loss prevention guy greeted me followed by and immediate radio call . Literally as walked back to look for a shower curtain among other things that I did not end up getting second loss prevention dude passed by me and made it clear that he was watching me . I had a total of approx 5 contacts with him in the 15 minutes I was there. Walked out with only one item that I absolutely needed because they lack criminal profiling training and more stalker like when they feel someone is shop lifting . I love this store! I purchase many fabulous shirts and shoes from here. It can be difficult at times to find what I'm looking for in the clothing department, but I tend to eventually find what I need. They also have cooking supply aisles, pet aisles, and more. Went in for a pair of shoes, when I was looking I would find sizes mixed up everywhere making it irritating to find a good pair only to see it's too small. When I finally found a pair I go to check out and there's only one employee at the register which created a line that was longer than it should've been. Finally I get to the front of the line only to be pushed back one more person who waited in the returns/exchange line for 30 seconds. After paying I get into my car and get ready to put my shoes on only to find the sole is no longer glued to the bottom. For me it wasn't worth it to go inside and deal with everything again so I just took the loss and left. Not returning. read more

I think the clutter and mess in the store has more to do with the shoppers than staff. As a teenager I worked at Pic N Save and after a while you just can't keep up with the mess being made by customers. Just because people are lower income doesn't mean they have to be slobs! Not all low income people are, but it seems the lower the income of shoppers the worse a store looks. I guess if it's not your stuff and you aren't paying for it, it's OK to trash it. You don't see Nordstrom or Macy's looking like this. Cut the staff some slack they are doing their best, but it's 2 steps forward, two steps back. My friend introduced me to Ross, and I was skeptical at first. I gave it a bit and I found some great tops. However, I have yet to find a good fitting pair of jeans. All seem to run small and are skinny jeans. What ever happened to high waisted jeans? ( I wear a size 3/4 and they are still small) However, I was amazed at how low their prices were. A super lot lower than Marshalls down the street. Most of their tops are $10 or less. If I find a top I like, I have this habit of getting others in different colors because they are so reasonable. The other thing I like about Ross is they get daily deliveries. Every time I go in there it is like shopping in a newly refreshed treasure chest. And, don't let the long check out lines scare you off because they used to do that to me. These cashiers move with a sense of urgency, which is refreshing. They don't doddle around talking BS with poky customers at check out time at the expense of others waiting in line, and I can appreciate that! read more

I will not be returning to the Hemet store. This store has the worst customer service ever. The employees are very rude and disrespectful. One of the cashiers there her name is Cydney was very rude to me and my three children, one of them has Down's syndrome. This cashier was so annoyed by my daughter trying on the little pillows that go around your neck. Making faces at her the whole time. As a mother I felt sad and disrespected. Especially because my daughter was doing nothing wrong. I would recommend customer service classes and her to have some human decency towards others with disabilities. read more
