99 Cents Only Stores - A Fake sign - Party Supplies Near Me - Hemet, California

Place is always really busy even with multiple check'ers. Store is clean and maintained.

Been shopping this store 20 years or since G.O. I get my (shopping cart) practically full with home provisions, can goods, gal. waters (12-15), diary, fruits, veggies. Comparable prices yet low quality. The browsing to check-out has always been efficient and convenient. But as of July '23, store no longer permits shopping carts out of store, which is a huge inconvenience. And I don't see it changing. Now, I don't purchase all that I normally did. How can a store make money when it limits customer purchases to what can be carried out of store? Lately been using cart from neighboring biz but today noticed Target placed automatic locks anywhere near 99 Cent. As stated, I most usu go in for my 12-15 lot of gal. water but now been going to different store, only .20 more expensive per bottle. Don't wanna critique store much since known employees many years and do outstanding job. But it's a problem that makes me wanna switch to another store with easily accessible shopping carts. My wife was out shopping on Saturday, she was looking for a special picture frame to put our granddaughters first Christmas picture taken after the pandemic with Santa. somehow it slipped out of her grasp, and she lost it in the store not knowing. she searched and searched and backtracked all over for two hours to find that picture, but could not find it. today Sunday we went back, retrace their tracks and went back to the 99 Cents store and ask the cashier whose name we did not get because we were so excited that she told us she found the picture. we were so grateful and amazed that somebody took the time out to pick this up and give it to the cashier. truly a Christmas miracle. thank you to this employee who went out of her way to make our Christmas happier. Always I buy here and never return. Nothing. Today I returned curtains was no the correct size . The manager Indian lady talk to me rude. She told me never bring something you been used I say I didn't used. She no accepted one of 7. We are a customer. She can't not treat like we are asking for free. I come here around the holiday season to get gift baskets or gift bags, because they're very inexpensive here (99 cents! hehe). Other than that, I stay away. The store is cluttered, messy, and some of their products appear to be used! They have a candy aisle that I purchased some items from, but the candy I tried tasted stale. Of course everything's cheap here, but the store condition and the low-quality items they carry are why they can offer things at such a low price. As for staff - never had any issues, but also never needed any help. read more

I wish I didn't have to give this store 1 star but with an employee of the name Kyla I had too, I have been going to this 99 cents for a long time and all the employees are always friendly except for this Kyla girl I have never been so upset all because someone got upset when they asked if I needed a bag. I said nicely no thank you I have my own so the young little rude lady got upset took the 2 things she had put in the bag out like she was mad and I said nicely you don't have to be so rude and throw my things she said I don't care I said you are really rude you have no good customer service that's when she started to cuss while other people where around the fact she kept saying whatever Bitch was not ok before I even knew her name I kept asking her what's your name she said don't you see my tag and funny thing is her tag had no name and it's because she was known for talking crap to customers I asked for her manager some lady came and apologize for her rudeness and then the Kyla girl left talking crap so I do no appreciate the service from her so I hope you guys can do something to this Kyla because of her you guys will be losing customers. Best selection of any 99 store in my area. Went into this one while visiting a friend. Big store lots of selection.

This store is awesome! I love coming here to purchase the things I need. They have a wide range of products, and for good prices, too. They even have a produce section! It can get crowded in this store because it's always busy and the aisles are narrow. You have to be careful because there are items they sell that exceed 99 cents, but they are fairly careful at labeling those items. read more

There are both positives and negatives about this store. It is great around Christmas, with low prices on wrapping paper, ribbon and gift bags. Also have good decorations on other holidays, especially for kids It was hard for me to believe but if you go early on Tuesday of Wednesday you can get some great deals on produce. It is normally crowded at those times, but is worth it. The normally have a 3 pack of romaine lettuce hearts for .99, that is less than half of what you pay at the grocer or even Walmart. Also have good melons in season and other veggies. The staff isn't very helpful or friendly. And the store could use a top to bottom cleaning. read more

Wow I went here this past weekend and found so many great things for 99 cents. This is a great store. It was clean, had great produce and the employees were all very nice. I love shopping at the 99 cent only stores and I can always find something I need. If you see something you like buy 2 or 3. This trip I found Salted Caramel Cookie Dough, Keebler Jif Cookies, Boo Berry Cereal, Carrs Table Water Crackers, Gripe Water and more. Everything I found would have been 3 or more dollars at another store. I am a very happy shopper. read more

I am a regular here and one thing I hate is ugly customer service, this is the 2nd time that I put up with it. This gal looks new, never seen her. She didn't smile, didn't say hello and didn't say thank you.I always go for the older ladies because I hate dealing with bad attitude especially after waiting in line for a long time. If you dislike your job then don't work here and give someone else an opportunity. I should of said, "YOUR WELCOME" :) Aside from that, you can find great goodies here, I have found name brand grocery items from here so I am happy with that but you just have to check out the expiration date as well. read more

Okay so the place is a little chaotic and the staff is hit or miss. But you can find some really good deals here. The inventory is constantly changing, lots of seasonal items. Watch out for the panhandlers out front and the long shopping lines. read more

What can I say? Come early and you'll usually find name brand food items at low prices. Most of the time, they don't have enough cashiers at the front to speed up checkout times. The quality of the food and the price can't really be beat though. When you're feeding a family of four, this is definitely a place to consider when buying vegetables or fruits. read more

Great produce, great selection of merchandise. I am surprised on how fresh the food is every time. I hate waiting in the awful long lines that are always there. They never have enough checkers open. It always is a 15 minute wait to get out of this store. read more
