Love going here for cleaning supplies always has such great discounts and the customer service is amazing

This is a fun place to shop as there are soooo many things you could buy and the prices can't be beat. The staff are friendly and they know their inventory....from memory they can tell you prices and whether or not they have the item you are looking for even though their inventory is constantly changing. Only draw-back is if you find something you really like, you might not be able to find it again there or anywhere....unless you go on online and search, as some items are not sold at our other local stores. They get inventory from Whole Foods and Costco, for example, but we don't have those stores in our local area. read more

I love this store! Great makeup items for less than half the price of other stores. You have to look through it for colors you like. Also good prices on cat and dog food! Grocery items are really marked low! Most still have a year or two before exp date. Always new items at good prices read more

Was my first time there! Everything is pretty well stocked! Selections are great! I just wish they had food to buy! I liked the fact they take ebt but they have no food to use them on!! Visited today for some items. There were more people in the store. The selection is good. The price of some items are great! We will continue to shop here as long as the price is reasonable. Only problem is the aisles are narrow because there is so many products. Only one shopping cart can enter some aisles. The employees are pleasant. Don't go by yourself for safety. read more

CHECK EXPIRE DATES...expiration date CHECK the "best by", "used by" and "sell by" dates on the products It might not matter on some with recent expire dates but on some they go way back. Not sure why they sell old stock. This is why I have 3*s for this place. Otherwise it is a FUN HUNT for things. Surprisingly, a nice selection of "ECO" products which I stocked up on. It is a pot luck of anything from A to Z..even marzipan (my favourite), and it had not expired. You just don't know what you will see and that some of the goods even existed. Also, ponder some of the prices because not all are a good buy. Allow some time and let yourself be surprised. Don't have high expectations and you may come out thinking "hey, I am going back"....especially me for the marzipan and unbleached paper products for baking and products you would find at SPROUTS. Kinda junky looking but that's the fun of it. Again, should you be concerned or care, look at the dates!!! read more

Mikes Bargains is a excellent spot to get weird snacks as they have stuff from US, Thailand, Mexico, Vietnam, China and more. They also have preworkout drinks for $1 which is a super deal. My family can finally afford name brand items such as grain- free dog and cat food, imported yummies from all over the world, and beautiful cosmetics that cost half as much as retail. One of my favorite bargains I found was a 6 x 4 blue tarp for $1.49. My 6 kids scream out "Mike's" every time we pass by because there are always great deals on toys. Mike's often has high quality Costco items and holiday decor for every season for super cheap. The owner has a very kind heart and tries to help our community whenever he can. He hires the sweetest employees that are always willing to assist in finding that awesome deal. Good luck finding anywhere cheaper and such high quality items like at Mike's. this place has great deals! i love coming here for my spice cabinet and for snacks like chips. sometimes they'll even have low carb/healthier organic options which is awesome! the only disappointing thing is that there are so many people at a time in the store without a mask or using masks incorrectly. even though there are posted signs, the rules aren't enforced and usually it'll cause me to leave pretty fast. it would be really great if people were required to wear masks correctly and at all times. last time i went, 8/10 were wearing the mask on their chin instead of over their face. read more

I went to this store today as a recommendation from a stranger I met outside of big lots who swore by this place as a hidden gem of Hemet to find bargains. I went to this store with some pretty high hopes. The problem wasn't with the product variety, they had more than enough things I would find enticing, if it weren't because most had a reason why they were there. Clothes were pricey for the quality, foods were mostly expired and the refrigerators fresh things were kept on seemed rather temp and I'm afraid they aren't keeping food at a safe storage temperature. I browsed every aisle with the hopes of finding something good, I did settle for 3 items at a dollar each. It didn't feel for a treasure hunt as much as it felt as if I was scavanging for something good. When I checked out I asked the lady why everything was expired and she told me that because they were bargains and that most foods were ok for consumption after 6 months from the tagged date. I am aware they take EBT and I feel truly sorry for anyone who has to find themselves looking for food at that store. It is a good resource if you are starving and have close to no budget, but always remember there are well priced grocery stores like grocery outlet and WinCo who have unexpired and sanitary food out there. They also had multiple signs about them not offering returns or refunds on the foods and a sign I found somewhat offensive to their customers warning against EBT fraud. I come here from SAN MARCOS (not San Francisco) every weekend. Tons of snacks, coffee, frozen food, deals on energy/protein bars. It isn't Von's or Ralph's or other high priced grocery stores. I like that it is a Wild West shopping experience, because you never know what kinds of deals you will find. It isn't like anywhere else (99 cents only, dollar tree), etc. Obviously, not good for some, seeing other reviews. If you haven't been to this store to check it out your wasting your money everywhere else because they sell nearly everything that the dollar tree and the 99 cent store sells for a fraction of the price. There usually is always some top names in organic foods and other products, and a refreshing wonderful experience to see what is on the shelves; the workers and they really do some heavy duty work, are fair, wholesome, and good people. Always something different to try, almost as if one suddenly became wealthy, in other words money can go a long way and different, ecological soaps, and goodies.
