I visited twice, and the first time I talked to the owner, and the second time I visited, I spoke with her mom. They both were not welcoming. I asked a simple question to the mom about the store, and she said, "It's not worth opening one. There's no money in this business." I was shocked. One of the girls (with blonde hair) had a stern look and said they had more in the back. Her expression left a sour taste but I still wanted to purchase it. I wanted to make sure it was okay with my husband so we came back later to look at it. He tested it out (pushed around and closed it). I asked the same (stern) lady if this was how the stroller work and she said yes after testing it out herself. She was about to ring up the floor model when I asked for a new one - just so I don't take the floor model. I can sense the roll in her eyes as she said okay and pushed the stroller aside. I said I was going to put it back and she said "it's fine" and stormed off. Strike 2. The stroller is what we wanted and at a very reasonable price compared to Target and Walmart. I'm all for supporting small businesses and you can't please every customer but I felt like I wasn't being rude or harsh when asking for a stroller.

The store closed down when the owner passed away. I would have to say that now KISSUI and KISSUI KITH are now among my favorite boutique stores in the downtown Redlands area.
