I had been using Ray's for a few years now starting with a tailored suit set for $400 that was on sale. From there, it was fine and dandy until now. I had one of my many clothing altered, but I thought the robe i had Ray tonmove the loops was charging me $20 for the job. I paid with the $100 bill for it. However, when I was using my cash later, I was short $30. I was given $50 cash back. When I went back to pick up my robe today, I had to comfirm the price. It was $20, just I thought I heard right the first time... But Ray was like I must have spent it at the casino. He was like no...no I was given the $80. Then he was trying to joke with me like he always do, but that was not funny at that point. I told him that $30 is tip to him because he's been a nice guy and been willing to mrnd or alter much of my clothing with the store. I don't understand the bad reviews this place has been getting. I had an outstanding experience. I was in a bind and required a suit. I was skeptical because some of the reviews but I had little choice. I walked in and noticed a large selection of suits and accessories. I was greeted by Ray and told him I required a suit and quick. Ray took my measurements and helped me choose a nice charcoal grey suit. Ray recommended some nice shirts and ties. His taste was a lot better than mine. When finished, I asked him how long would it take to make the alterations. Ray said he would be done in 30-45 minutes. I went to drink a beer and came back 40 minutes and the suit was ready and wrapped up ready to go. I would definitely go back to this place if I had too and would like to thank Ray for providing great service in such a short time. read more

My mom took my two little brothers to get fitted for a family member's sweet sixteen. Not only did they receive terrible customer service, but the owner thought it would be a good idea to tell my mother in front of my seven year old brother (who is already insecure as it is) that she should put him on a diet. Absolutely unprofessional. Not only was it none of his business but he has no right to talk to an innocent child in such a demeaning and insensitive way. My brother was absolutely crushed. First off it's very unfortunate but the previous owners sold the business and this new owner has absolutely no clue how to run a business let alone a men's clothing store. I have been a customer of JOE and ALI for over 5 years as soon as I walked in the shop was very unorganized. The woman that finally asked me if I needed any help is very uneducated in men's suits (couldn't find my size) to say the least. All the prices have been "jacked up" and when I told him the previous owner ALWAYS gave free accessories I was told "to bad this is how we operate our business". Sadly, He's right because it's to bad I was ready to buy 2 suits and instead I got an earful and walked out empty handed. I never write reviews but felt it my duty to let you all know my horrible experience. Honestly if they keep operating their business this way it won't be long before they close.2 thumbs down! I just want to first start off with a heads up. If you walk into this store and you ask for Joe and he isn't there do yourself a favor and walk out. The first time we walked into this place we met Joe and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in men's ware and tailoring. We were looking forward in meeting him the following week. On Sunday November 29th 2015 I brought in my fiancé, my father, and brothers in to buy their suits. Joe was not in that day unfortunately but we were told he would be in. There was some female who was there instead. First off she did not greet anyone, she stayed on the phone most of the time, and when she so called tried helping us she was absolutely usless. She did not know what the hell she was doing and didn't know a damn thing. She was pretty much there taking up space to make sure the store was open. Like I said if Joe is not present in this store RUN like hell because no one else knows what the hell they are doing. read more

We were in search for a "women's white suit" and walked in store to ask if they knew where we could possibly find one. We told Joe what we were looking for and told him we could not find any white suits anywhere (this was in January) He immediatley indicated he could tailor a mens white suit to fit perfectly and he did! It was amazing I could not believe it and he is in our own backyard, we did not have to drive to LA or anywhere else. They have the best prices to buy a suit rather than renting one at some of the other higher end stores. I cannot say enough how happy we are with the customer service we received. Went in to men's trends after looking at 6 different places for a suit for my wedding. Ali was more than helpful, picked out a suit, had it fitted for the tailor to sew, got my shirt, socks, belt, tie and hanky and was out the door in 20 minutes max! Great customer service. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else in hemet San jacinto area. I went all the way to San Diego looking for the right suit for the right price and MENS TRENDZ had what I needed. I don't know when Il need another suit but when I do, this will be my first stop. My only complaint is that the changing rooms need to be updated, lights flickering, dirty carpet, needs fresh paint but that stuff doesn't affect the suits or service read more
