A really chill environment to shop and not pushy at all by the sales people. Also, I notice the same people working there often, which tells me that they must treat their employees well for them to stick around. The quality of the material is solid. Worth it.

It turned out that extra items had been added to my bill without explanation. I went back to the same cashier, who didn't seem at all surprised by the extra charge. The lack of concern on her part only added to my frustration. The following day, I called and spoke with the manager. She mentioned that the discrepancy could have been due to something she was looking up, but I pointed out that the cashier had just totaled someone else's purchases before me. This left me with the impression that the error wasn't an isolated incident, but perhaps part of a recurring issue. Overall, the experience at Torrid in Palm Desert Mall was disappointing. The unexpected overcharge and the indifferent attitude from both the cashier and the manager have left me questioning the store's attention to detail and customer service. I hope they address these issues soon, as no one should have to deal with such an inconvenience. I was told that I would receive a follow up call that is still pending.

I fell in love with a Stella McCartney look alike wallet and meant to purchase it, but by the end of the day I had to rush out to make my evening plans and never went back in. Later that night I went to their website, and although they sell some items online, the wallet wasn't one of them. I may call the shop next week and see if there is anyway they sell it to me over the oh one could mail it to me. Lesson learned. And this is exactly why my philosophy has always been, if you see something you love, don't hesitate, buy it! Especially when you are in a different state from where you live! The young lady working there was really sweet. She answered all of my questions and also let me browse at my leisure with no pressure.
