Her demeanor was unfriendly from the start no greeting, no smile, and she looked me over with a slight frown. When I asked about the Arrata brand, she told me they no longer carry it, then directed me to the back area and said the items there were 50% off and that I could check the rack in case something was there. After spending about ten minutes searching, I found an item. At that point she changed her story and said the price on the tag was not 50% off and that it was full price. This was completely different from what she originally told me. My family and I have shopped here before, so this experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I came specifically to purchase a Mother's Day gift, and the lack of courtesy, clarity, and consistency made the visit unnecessarily frustrating. She blew it Lulu, we will never come back and we will pass the word along. Be nice to everyone afterall we keep the rent paid.

There is a lot of clothes and a lot of racks and a lot to choose from. Yes prices are high because it's a boutique, but for the sake of convenience, it's worth it to me. Plus, it gives me an opportunity to try things on, I can order similar or the same items later online for less if I have time to wait. They carry a lot of name brands that department stores and boutiques sell and they have quite a selection. So if you need to find something but don't have all day to bounce around you will probably find it here. They also have tons of shoes and sandals and flip-flops and stuff to choose from. If you went in there and said you needed something specific chances are the staff will find it or something close to it. They know where everything is in the store and they have a lot of stock in the back. Plus they have all the accessories you can imagine if you need to accessorize your outfit. It's worth a look, give yourself a few hours to shop there.

A sweatshirt may be $200 bucks but it is likely the softest one you'll ever own. I loved how the clothes had such a luxe, soft touch to them. There were some summery white clothes that were chic but I don't know how you could wear underwear underneath them that doesn't show, but that's not my concern. I was greeted when I walked in, checked on while shopping in a friendly way, and not stalked which I also appreciated. I ventured upstairs to the home goods department (I think she said) and found lots of mystical items and books that I was fascinated with. I don't hold any beliefs on tarot, astrology and the like, but I found this display charming and I picked up a few 'starter kits' just for fun. Checkout was pleasant and my purchases were wrapped in tissue and placed in a lovely bag. After my visit I scanned through some of the Yelp reviews and was surprised to see someone complaining about the customer service or that they had to ask for a bag or whatever. And that they didn't know you could only exchange for a store credit - Girl, there is a sign right there next to the payment machine. I'll be back for sure and would highly recommend Blonde to all blondes, brunettes, redheads and ravenhaired.

I'm a bit shopping-phobic, and Piper in Idyllwild made me feel as comfortable as could be. They carry a really fun, eclectic selection of clothing, and though I didn't find anything to purchase, my partner did; a really pretty, unusual sweater that fit perfectly. When we got said sweater back to where we were staying in Palm Desert, it wasn't until my partner tried it on (and removed the tags, naturally), that we realized it had a hole in the back that would very quickly have unravelled. Fortunately, when we went to the La Quinta shop, we found the same sweater, and were able to swap it out very easily, no questions asked. Great selection, and great service (with a particular shout-out to Piper in Idyllwild!) Thanks for a great shopping experience!
