I just can never justify paying full price for Nikes for a baby that will grow out of them within a couple months. I have bought brand name shoes for my son here four times that were brand new without tags. One pair of Jordans, one pair of Nikes, and two pairs of vans. They were all less than 16 bucks. If you know Jordans, you know that they run $65 and up even for baby sizes. I love the fact that they don't accept clothing from Walmart and Target because I can just run down there and buy those things myself for relatively inexpensive prices. I truly do appreciate that they carry higher end brands without the high-end price tag. I have seen toms, uggs, nike, adidas, and many others in the shoe section alone. Their store is well-organized and easy to navigate. There is always help availabile if needed and the ladies who staff the shop are so sweet. I have never purchased anything here that was anything more than very gently worn. That includes Janie & Jack sets, an H&M linen shirt, an indoor bounce house, disney books, tons of Kate Quinn separates, and even a Little Sleepies zipper pajama. I don't plan on consigning much just yet because I plan on having at least one more baby, but I absolutely will be in the future. I am so glad that we finally have a high-end kids consignment store here in the valley... it alleviates a lot of stress for me because now I don't have to worry about trying to sell things on OfferUp or Facebook marketplace and having to meet-up with strangers.

I explained the impression all the rules and terms leave you with. The split is not the norm and some of the charges coming off as "nickel and diming". They are still not for me as given the money you are going end up with, based on the value of those goods and the split, i feel better donating the out grown things.

Just overhearing how they talk with each other and the customers impresses me as they really do get excited about their merch and who it benefits. Such a great cause! I can occasionally find the 2 things I am on the hunt for: 1) iconic Palm Springs vintage clothes and 2) designer silk tops. I know this seems a low bar, but if you shop at TJ Maxx, Off 5th on El Paseo, Ross and other discount stores that are in the same competitive space, this is not the norm. The Ross staff down the street hollers at you "WELCOME" in hope that distracts you from seeing the piles of misplaced merch in the aisles, and then you end up waiting in a monumental line that makes you wonder if you really need that $19.99 item. At this Marshalls, I can find nice displays of clothing at the front of the store of multiple brands' offerings, with my size 2 or 4 still available on the rack. The dressing rooms are clean and offer nice lighting so I don't obsess on my imperfections. Overall a great experience shopping here and I definitely recommend this Marshalls.

The attitude of the guy at the donation center 7/29 was crazy. He told me at 4:30 that they'd…read morestopped taking donations (they stop at 6:00.) I told him that I had just confirmed with someone 5 minutes before that I was able to park in front of the donation center and someone would come out and help me. He reluctantly took the bags from my car as I also helped carry some bags in. It was obvious that he was in some sort of distress so I apologized for the inconvenience (not sure why I did that bc his distress had nothing to do with me dropping off bags of clothes.) He was extremely rude as I said thank you and to have a nice day. I left that place wishing I had dropped off my baby's old clothes somewhere else.

Our leather couch at our desert house is 18 years old, and was fading, cracking and generally…read morelooking like an 18-year-old couch. I called Greg at Leather Care Plus and could not be more thrilled with the outcome of the restoration. This couch looks like it's brand new. So Greg came out to assess the couch and there was two issues- first three of the cushions were disintegrating and the rest of the couch was just faded and worn like an old western saddle in the 1880s. He explained his process which I really appreciated. He basically said that he would get all the required materials and other items that will help to restore the couch, as well as an exact leather match first. He would not take the couch away until all of these items were in place. Then once everything was on inventory at his workshop, he came over and took the couch to work on it. His philosophy is get everything in place and ready to go to then devote full attention to your leather item until completion. I really appreciate how he goes about his business. The cost of restoring this couch was probably a quarter of what a new leather couch of this size would cost. If your leather items need restoring, Greg and team are the best!
