We stopped in on a Friday night and without a reservation were given their last available table. Service was moderately attentive by the younger server, but there were two additional runners (whom I presume to be owners) that were VERY attentive and accommodating.
Friday nights are a fixed three course offering. Choose an app, a main, and a dessert. I was with my wife and respectively we had the salad (tomato, onion, cuke, and olives) and spanakopita for apps. Our mains were the chicken and pork souvlaki served with chips. Lastly, we had chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert.
All were fantastic and fair priced at E21.95.
We offered a gratuity upon payment and were then treated to a complimentary Ouzo aperitif. I'm not sure those two things are connected, but as I've come to realize on this trip, tipping isn't as common in Ireland as it is in USA. Cheers to them. read more
