Wow!!! What an amazing restaurant. It's rare that you find great food, charming, ambience, and friendly staff like Nikki. This hidden gem is a rare treat! I highly recommend the Tiropita, baklava, and the Souvlaki.

We had the most spectacular meal here tonight! Everything as amazing, the staff was pleasant and attentive and the atmosphere is warm and inviting while being quaint and authentic. Highly recommend.

Can't get enough of this amazing food!

Oh my word, this small and easy-to-miss restaurant right in the Temple Bar area of Dublin was a revaluation! After a day of sightseeing and whiskey tasting, we were shuffling around the area on foot for a long time looking for something appetizing and passed by Corfu a few times. The third time was the charm; I convinced my friend to go in and we were salivating at a fantastic wine list, very authentic but home style food, and a wonderful Greek ambience very removed from the often rambunctious and inebriated feel of the Temple Bar area. We were hungry so we sampled a wide assortment of mezeh (appetizers); their tzatziki was really fresh and better than any I've ever had in the USA. I ordered the mixed grill/souvlaki platter and it was so immensely flavorful and juicy, I left wishing I could cook meat so well. And finally, we sampled no fewer than 4 of their Greek wines whose mineral-y qualities combined beautifully with the food. We left here happy, stuffed, and maybe a little sauced. But it was a much better saucing than at a cheap touristy bar around the corner! LOOK FOR CORFU, you won't regret it!

    Add tzaziki to errthang!

If only zeus himself was around to experience the food at this place, i bet he would cry lightning tears of joy. Corfu had a nice 3 course meal for 15,99 sign outside so why not. We went in sat down, looked around And ordered our food meatballs starter, the most italian greek starter ever and lamb as the main. Meatballs were meh....BUT OH DEAR GOD! As a carnivore you can imagine i love my meat....but....these vegetables cooked with the lamb were...Aaaamaaazziiing, lamb was nice as well. The restaurant was a nice little place makes you think of it as a hidden gem in the dublin restaurant scene. Great food, great price, great service, just...great only thing missing was gyros i mean cmooon so thats why i cant give it the 5 stars but hey its still awesome

The mixed mezze - HEAVENLY - so good I could only photograph half cos we started eating too early!!

Two of us were wandering around doing the whole "what do you want for dinner" "I don't have a preference, what do you want" thing when one of us was sidetracked by the Corfu signboard advertising a dinner deal. After another five minutes of useless waffling, we took the plunge! The service was immediately warm and welcoming, really put us in a great mood right off the bat. After extended indecisiveness, we ended up splitting the mixed mezze, a glass of red and a glass of white wine, then the baklava for dessert. In a word: DELICIOUS. The portion sizes were perfect for the two of us. There was a stewed beef dish which blew us both away, and the sauces on each dish were delightful, just perfect to complement what was there. The wine on its own wasn't mindblowingly flavorful, but it went well with the dishes and really fit the mood of the meal! The place was definitely buzzing in the best of ways and there was a good turnover rate while we were there, with some groups obviously lingering for several hours while others moved right on through. Service was excellent, timely, and friendly. Final observation: EXCELLENT value. For all I described above, it only came out to about 35, and we both left saying it was a place we were looking forward to coming back to ASAP - probably the best end to a "just pick a place, I don't mind anything" beginning I can remember!

    Tiramisu at Corfu

Stopped in here on a random Thursday night after another lovely (insert eye-roll) experience at the GNIB. Despite the start to our evening, we were optimistic about Corfu. The place is warm and cozy and the service was excellent. We decided to each have the three course early bird with the calamari and Greek salads to start, the beef mousaka and kleftiko as the mains, and the tiramisu and galaktobureko to finish. I can't remember the exact cost of the early bird, but I want to say around €16 - which is a pretty great deal. The starters came out quickly and were good but not great. The mains soon followed and similar to the starters, we liked our dishes but wouldn't come running back. For me, you can't get much better mousaka than Keshk Café and J's lamb was nice but there are so many places that serve a tender lamb shank. The tiramisu was slightly better than the other dishes but was zeroed out with the strange taste of the galaktobureko. The server really talked it up but J didn't even finish it (which might be a first). Overall this was a really cute place but it's unlikely that we'll hurry back.

Pick 5 daily special. Outstanding food at a great price! Could have split one with my friend but we got two which are shown here.

This tiny hidden jewel amidst the Temple Bar madness really sets the tone. Upon entering, you are immediately transported to the Greek Isles. The energy is warm and inviting and you are surrounded by pictures of Greece on every wall. The bistro tables are cozy and welcome intimate conversation. The server greeted us with a choice of location and we opted for a spot towards the front of the house to catch some people watching on our lazy Sunday afternoon. Review of the menu quickly proved the need to experience the 5 mezedes for 14.95 plus a glass of wine. What better way to taste their staple items!! Selections were Falafal, Stifado, Souvlaki, Tzatziki, and Dolmadakia. I was also craving a salad so I opted for a Greek salad to start. The portions were so large I ended up taking most of the salad home, some Domadakia and Falafal. Basically two meals for the price of one. The Stifado was absolute perfection. The wine was simple but perfectly accompanied the range of flavors. My husband opted for the 2 course meal with the daily fish. His fish was perfectly and elegantly prepared. We ate, drank and talked of traveling to the various islands of Greece. Corfu is a great spot for an enjoyable leisurely lunch!

Every bite tasted like it came straight from a cherished family recipe. This cozy, family-run restaurant radiates warmth and hospitality from the moment you walk in -- you instantly feel like part of the family. The hummus and baba ghanoush are out of this world: creamy, fresh, and full of flavor. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the Lebanese potatoes were crisped to perfection with just the right touch of garlic and spice. We finished with strong, fragrant Lebanese coffee and flaky, melt-in-your-mouth baklava -- the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Every dish was clearly made with love and attention to detail. It's the kind of hidden gem you feel lucky to discover. Tucked away in Dublin, this place deserves far more attention. And as if the food weren't reason enough to fall in love, the lovely lady proprietor is warm, welcoming -- and a Metallica fan! Seriously, how cool is that? Highly, highly recommend!

I walked in on a Wednesday morning, right as they opened at 9am, and was seated immediately. The sit-in part of Brother Hubbard is bright, relaxing, spacious with plenty of tables inside and there's a patio outside with plenty of tables as well. The waitress came over with a menu and gave me plenty of time to look it over. She was very courteous and pleasant, checking in throughout my time there, never hovering. For breakfast, I ordered an Americano, a ginger scone, and their Irish Oat Porridge - Classic. Their porridge is organic oats made with milk and with ordering it as "Classic", it was served with cream and honey. Starting with the ginger scone, this was another case of a perfectly baked scone - Crispy, golden exterior with a moist, buttery interior. The flavor of ginger was perfectly balanced and the raisins inside were a nice supplement to the scone. The porridge was really good, I loved the creaminess of it! Both did a nice job of filling me up and setting me up for the day of walking to come. Funny enough, around 3:30pm, I stopped here again to grab a mid-afternoon treat and ordered the chocolate and hazelnut Babka, their soft bun filled with chocolate and toasted hazelnuts. This pastry was crazy tasty! A slightly crispy exterior with a croissant-like inside chocked full of chocolate and those toasted hazelnuts. This was so rich and truly decadent. Brother Hubbard is a gem of a breakfast and pastry spot! I appreciate the relaxing café environment with friendly staff and high-quality food. Brother Hubbard is a solid spot for breakfast and brunch, serving entrees, lighter fare and offers a pastry assortment that will have you pondering about getting takeout. I visited Brother Hubbard on a Sunday, half an hour after it opened and was able to be seated immediately. However, the brunch rush came afterwards and by the time I left, the entire place was filled. It's popular. And yes, it's the same spot Phil Rosenthal ate at. I even saw the owner who was featured on the show here, helping out with clearing tables and so forth. I ordered the traditional Irish breakfast and an iced chai latte. The food was good and actually, not as heavy as I anticipated. It came with an egg, sausage, bacon, beans and a pudding, which I had to look up. It's ground meat with oats and is molded into a patty. It didn't taste bad, so can see why it's served around these parts of the world. And the meal also came with another item I had to look up, colcannon bread, which was a potato bread with kale. And it was my favorite part of the breakfast! Delicious. If you're looking for a breakfast spot in Dublin, then I'm pretty sure you already know about Brother Hubbard, which is popular, all for good reason. The food was tasty, service was friendly and I loved how bright and welcoming the restaurant was. I was satisfied.

The cous cous royale was okay but could have been better with more seasonings and flavor. The pastine was dry and bland and disappointing.
