There was nothing enchanting about the vibe, but the food was pretty good. We did falafel and schwarma, but the chicken our neighbors ordered looked even better. Server was super pleasant but it also took a lot longer to get our meal than expected. Seems like they do a lot of deliveries.

Excellent food - exactly what the soul (e.g. stomach!) needed. We got the mixed kebab plate and EVERYTHING on the plate was delicious. The chips deserve a mention of their own - piping hot, crispy on the outside and beautifully soft inside! Perfectly seasoned too. Glad we went with that instead of the house special which was the same but with rice instead. Either way, kebab plate was great. We also ordered the veggie penne, which did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised too that they put exactly enough green olives in to taste good but not overwhelm the other flavors! Seems like a small thing but was excellent. We also got their mango soda on a whim which I would highly recommend. The inside of the place is quite nice and not too crowded, despite its excellent reputation and obvious popularity. Service was grand as well. Would recommend!

Café Oasis doesn't look like much at all from the outside. This is mainly because of the truly terrible paint choices of neon-green and blue for their exterior colours. A few pints and a hungry American in next doors' Cobblestone was what made me try Oasis for the first time, purely by default as nothing else was open late that one Sunday night. The menu offers a little bit of everything: pizzas, pastas, falafels, kebabs. We had a large pizza, vegetarian ravioli and some hummus with flatbread. All three dishes were really nice and very reasonably priced. On a different occasion, I ordered the falafel for take-out and it was delish! So yes, apart from the off-putting colour scheme, this place is actually very decent. They do BYOB (not sure about the corkage fee) and also deliver to your door. If your door is nearby that is.

Stopped in for a coffee and cake to escape the rain the other day. Although it was empty, the place is nicely laid out and the staff are very friendly. Their apple tarts and baklava are both solid, as are their lattes. Standard prices (a latte is 2.50 EUR) for Dublin.

It was raining then. I had roughly an hour to spare before catching a movie at nearby cinema, so I decided to check this place out after seeing their listing on deliveroo. Cafe Oasis definitely did not disappoint. I ordered a seafood penne but requested for a spaghetti instead and it was granted with no issue at all. The food was delicious and well presented, the mint tea is also wonderful. I was the only patron when I entered the cafe but afterward a group of 8 who made earlier reservation came. The place probably would be busier had it not been because of the rain. They even treated me with free garlic bread. Maybe because they feel sorry with me being alone :P I intend to come here again with friends during our movie night.

    Attention to detail.

We're still not sure if this Oasis is a mirage. We were wandering around late at night, after shuffling through Cobblestone, and my boyfriend saw the sign for Oasis Cafe. I live in a Middle Eastern neighborhood in Los Angeles, and I know that many ME cultures love to stay up late, drinking tea and enjoying life. But, as everywhere that serves food in Ireland/UK seems to close by 8 or 9, I was skeptical. A little further walking, and a peek inside showed they were open!! A real oasis!! We had some Lebanese tea, which hit the spot, cos I've been sick. We liked it so much, we came back. And the food was deeeelicious.

Chicken fillet kebob plate absolutely recommend!

This restaurant was out of the way for us from our hotel but was absolutely worth it! The hummus and the chicken fillet kebob plate is what we ordered which was very delicious. Keep it up Cafe Oasis!

I had the hummus and the lamb shwarma. I enjoyed both. I would recommend if you are looking for good Middle Eastern food in Smithfield

Workers from the nearby offices relax within the jocular interior alongside viewers-of-the-gallery, reveling in the contemporary surroundings made up of buoyant wooden floors and stylish white walls, all of which come together to create a modish environment that nicely compliments the creative milieu of the overall gallery in which to enjoy your tea or lunch break. Tea, coffee, a choice of cakes, quiches, tasty antipasta as well as salads are all on offer, all the selection revealed having been written up in chalk on the blackboard above the cashier counter. This is certainly a laudable place for lunch, and glasses of wine are sold to further your enjoyment. These, together with the actuality that it is the official eatery of an illustrious gallery all affix the café with much significance. However, being fundamentally located in the basement it does feel a smidgen poky and boxed in and whilst the food is sufficient, it is not startling.

The wall fountain was broken, obviously a long time ago and remains a stagnant mess, neglected. This is such a pity as this museum is fabulous, just fabulous. It's a must-see. . This does a disservice to one of Dublin's true treasures. The High Lane is packed with masterpieces and marvels, this restaurant brings it down - though it has a hip and delightful decor- it is badly run, and the wall fountain and outside interior garden has to be repaitred and maintained. Can we ditch the ugly "farmer" picket fence that surrounds what should be a lovely pond and water feature???

I've no doubt the famous scribe himself would have felt right at home here. The interior has an authentic ramshackle feel with a dusty old piano, birdcage and various other bric-a-brac. A red rope prevents punters from exploring upstairs sadly. The cafe serves up a variety of no-nonsense fair, with homemade soups, tasty sandwiches and cakes all on offer at reasonable prices. I always admire somewhere brave enough to serve imaginative soup flavours outside of the crowd-pleasing chicken and vegetable bracket. A steaming bowl of Garlic soup was the ideal antidote to the damp afternoon outside on my visit. Cobalt also boats a lovely leafy-green garden area, the perfect urban escape if the weather is forgiving.

One of the hottest days of the year and we were dragging around a suitcase and in desperated need of a coffee having been awake since 6am. (Surely flights shouldn't go that early?) So in we went. It was a light, high-ceilinged room painted a refreshing Frenchish shade of light blue. Large plants in the corners, a piano, some interesting paintings and little flowers gave the place a vibe which was both elegant and relaxing. We only ordered coffee, however there was a range of yum-looking food available too, as well as an outside garden to enjoy it in. The price was reasonable, the service friendly and we were by no means rushed out afterwards. Will happily return.
