We ordered food from a third-party delivery app on Saturday night. At first glance, the prices for this seemed high. I was kind of iffy about placing our order, but I know third-party delivery often hikes prices up. Next time, I would dine in to see the price difference, but convenience won out today. We had two orders of jajangmyeon and one order of tteokbokki. Wow, this was a TON of food. Our jajang portions were MASSIVE. I've never had such a huge order, and this made the price of our food much more satisfying. There was easily enough in one order to split between two people, so we have plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow! The veggies and pork were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was perfectly balanced with oil to mix up the noodles. The tteokbokki was perfectly soft and chewy, and the fish cakes cut into bite-sized strips, with plenty of cabbage and green onions. I'm looking forward to dining in person!

It's been a year since I last ate at Arirang aka Korea King restaurant. The preparation looked fine with mandu and the ban Chan (pictured). The sweet and sour chicken was pretty decent and surprised my taste buds. The downside was the bibimpab was supposed to contain bulgogi meat and this cheapens the overall taste of the dish by using ground beef instead. This was the main reason for the 3 stars vs a 4 star result. I wouldn't give up on this place yet since there are dishes served/offered here that the other local Korean restaurants will not have on their menu the the taste is pretty decent on these dishes.

I definitely recommend this place. The service is very friendly and swift, and the portions are also very generous. The building & signage isn't particularly eye-catching but everything else makes up for that honestly. Food is priced accordingly and is definitely worth it. Many nice flavors in all of the dishes that I ate. My main course was the Japchae & it was nice and flavorful, not to mention quite filling. Have to say the same for the dumplings as well; love the unique flavors. The order also came with banchan and a box of sticky rice as well, all very good. It's safe to say that you won't go hungry after eating here. Personally I think this place deserves much more attention. If you want a go-to place for Korean fare, Korea King is a great option.

Great Korean option in Omaha. What it lacks in ambiance it makes up in taste. The scallion pancake was especially good and the service was very friendly. The restaurant's signage was not up to date so was a little hard to find. Definitely one of the more authentic Korean restaurants in Omaha. Would like to come back to try their Korean bbq

Arirang recently opened in the old Korea King space off just south of L and 96th. The old signage is still up, the same table and chairs, better lighting, but different family that now runs this restaurant. . We got galbi, jajang and shu mai. The galbi short ribs were tender, cooked fresh and had a nice beefy flavor. The jajang is an udon noodle bowl topped with a black soy gravy, diced pork, onion and veggies. This was a very umami dish and we liked it a lot. The shu mai came with shredded cabbage topped with an orange-pink French or Catelina style dressing which we liked too. All the banchan was made in-house. We got fish cake, cucumber, Napa kimchi, red daikon, white daikon, and jalapeño onion. We thoroughly enjoyed the banchan. The price point may seem a little high compared to the former Korea King, but the portion size made us feel like we just a Thanksgiving meal. . This is a family owned business. Dad cooks in the back. Mom and daughter works front of house. They may not have a ton of restaurant experience. But they seemed to get a lot of joy from having diners enjoy their dishes.

The food was delicious, especially the beef Galbi! It was tender and moist and perfectly cooked! The service was fast and our server was so helpful and pleasant! We are definitely returning and bringing friends!

We really liked the Banchan dish we had when we revisit Korean King two weeks ago. At first, we were a bit confused with the new restaurant name. But after we talked to the owner, we found out it's still under the same ownership except they wanted to use new restaurant name to operate as their business name. We had a shrimp fried rice, military stew, and Japchae. All were delicious! The lady owner didn't speak a lot of English so be patient with her but she was courteous and polite. We highly recommend this place if you are in the area and wanted to try some authentic Korean dish.

One thing I really enjoy about this restaurant is that you order as you go, so you never leave hungry and it's a safe bet that you won't over order. The wait staff will frequently check in on you and see if you need to order more. The Bunzai Buns (runza inspired) and Gyoza are my favorite options outside of the sushi. The Gyoza are fresh, chewy, and are paired with a very flavorful sauce. Our favorite Nigiri is the Sea Bream And you truly can't go wrong with any of the rolls.
