I recently came across this salon on yelp. It is a big and clean place. The prices are reasonable. The reason for deducting two stars is that they have a promotion of receiving one free tan on yelp. I was surprised the second day I came in to redeem the free tan it was not honored. It does not state that it must be the first visit. It's actually strange that the salon would deny a free tan to a returning customer. I may just drive the extra five minutes to the tanning salon where after years of being a client they honored a free tan on yelp. It should be stated clearly on the yelp offer that it is for first time visits , it is not so it is deceiving. It just asks to check in and write a review. read more

This place is definitely a must to try out especially if you're looking for indoor tanning! I think they have other locations also, but I went to the Glendale location. Met the owner once and he explained in detail the different types of tanning beds and expected results. Not only are the tanning results amazing, but this place is very well kept and the cleanliness is impeccable, especially during this COVID time we're going thru. The individual rooms and tanning beds all look super shiny and new!! Extremely happy today that I went because I was able to purchase their platinum tanning package at a great price! After going to three other options in the area, I came into Kool Rays, after my nail appt. and I was greeted by Jenny who made me feel so welcome! She explained the beds, lotions, and prices, and even took me to the rooms. I became a member and have appreciated the customer service from all the staff (I'm sorry I'm forgetting the other woman's name I usually see, but she's great too). I have watched this team manage very high volume times, staying in great communication with clients, and always doing their best to make sure everyone's experience is pleasant and seamless. If your like me, busy a lot, Irish and somewhat social , then you know, when we goto a pool party we get Red, to Pink to White again.. sad but true and I dont know about you, but i don't like glowing when I take my shirt off. So I found Kool Rays about 3 years ago and found the answer. 12 min a couple times a week and its as if I'm now a golden bronze magnet to all that want to see.
