And everything you see in these photos, we had to point out to them! I guess they hoped we just wouldn't notice or would take care of these things ourselves. This project began in Oct with the goal of being done by Thanksgiving. Today is Jan 5th and we're still waiting for some of these problems to be resolved. Our calls and correspondence are often met with silence or being told that the person we are trying to reach is out of the country. In desperation, I even called the cabinet manufacturer to find possible solutions to the unstable island. MK&B responded with an ultimatum that we choose their waterfall quartz counter design or we would be charged $4000 for our desired cabinet material support panel alternative. Even as we wait for them to complete our kitchen job, we receive their marketing emails. The only thing they have been prompt about is requesting payment. If you hire them, expect plenty of change orders and accept that you are paying more for the very items you may find on Amazon or at the big box stores. As for whether that added expense is worth it, based on our experience we would say absolutely not! Save yourself some money and headaches, and take your business some place else!

Finally, I went into their Herndon location with the photo of a bright, modern bathroom I liked and within an hour I had most of the design and materials chosen. The next day they sent me an estimate. We tweaked a few things and they put us on the schedule. We really wanted a steam shower and knew that added to the cost but they had experience with steam showers. I could have tried to save money by driving around to different places to choose material and by finding and supervising all the workers on my own (I'm usually a DIY person) but I wanted a contractor who'd oversee everything and make it easy and efficient. We had the same workers every day and they showed up when they were supposed to. They took care of getting building permits and scheduling county inspectors. I'm picky about tilework and the guy did an excellent job with cutting 3 different styles of tile. You have to walk through our bedroom to get to the bath so they put up a big plastic tarp wall to minimize dirt and give us some privacy. They put down cloths in our hall every day to keep the floors clean. Everything was spotless when they finished. I'd read some negative reviews about communication before we started and I discussed this with them. The project manager came to check on the work every 4 days and discuss changes or concerns. Every change we requested was updated in the contract. Communication was excellent. It's been 6 months and I'm very happy with our gorgeous bathroom!

It completely transformed these old spaces. Encouraged by that work I brought them back to completely remodel the 1970's master bathroom in the fall. Shortly after I left the store, Nabell called me to accuse my young child of stealing her phone. I told her she was mistaken and wished her luck. Nabell then filed a police report alleging my elementary school aged child stole her phone. When the police contacted me I asked them to locate the phone with "find my phone". The police officer said he was required to speak to my child in person and came to my home. My son was terrified and traumatized. 30 minutes later Nabell found her phone in the store. This irresponsible, heartless woman lost her own phone, never set up "find my phone" and blamed it on an innocent child. Her behavior is abhorrent. Everyone should steer clear of her.

Provided an estimate Wednesday AM and we scheduled for Thursday 5/7. I wanted work completed by next Thursday 5/14) 8:00 AM his guys arrived and started removing rotted wood under sills (HOA request). We provided original paint. They painted all trim (not just updated sills) to ensure matching exterior. There was a hitch with the electrical work, but they were patient and worked with us to determine an acceptable solution. They fixed the drywall in the basement (then re-opened and fixed again after the electrical solution was determined). All was completed for the original estimate price. I would definitely hire again.

We discovered an issue underneath the cabinets, visible with close observation.Our floor was uneven and their work left us with a gap underneath the cabinet visible from a distant front view. I should have seen it on completion of the work, unfortunately I didn't see it until I was deep cleaning six months later and noticed the issue. I contacted the company, they came looked at the issue acknowledged the problem told us they would email some solutions! I have yet to hear from them, I reached out via text again no response. A small issue we are still waiting for a response with a fix ,it's been about a month Today Kitchen and Bath fixed the above issue. The job looks complete and well done.
