This is our second 5-Star review for work accomplished on our 57 year old home this year by Vienna Prime Custom Kitchen & Bath (Prime Custom). The first was for the total refurbishment and modernization of our kitchen. This second 5-Star review is for the total refurbishment and modernization of our two upstairs main bathrooms that was recently completed. The bathrooms project was more complicated and costlier than the whole kitchen project. The attached collage of pictures put together by our film editor daughter tells the story. The collage also shows additional floor, wall and baseboard tile work accomplished in a third bathroom. This time around we had the same designer/program manager team Feliz and Nick, but the onsite production manger was Milton who only had a minor roll in the kitchen remodel. We were initially skeptical in this change, due to our prejudice for the outstanding success of the kitchen project. Our fears were almost immediately allayed, and we are so impressed by the results of Team Milton. The quality of work, functionality and aesthetics of the two remodeled bathrooms exceeded our expectations. Additional credit is due to Milton's expertise, recommendations, and patience with us. It is of significant note that this was a totally different production team and validates that Prime Custom is not a one pony show. Whoever shows up will do an outstanding job and exceed the customer's expectations in quality of work, cooperation, cleanliness, and fortitude. We had this company do our kitchen. It was a wonderful start during planning, and the designer was thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable. We finalized everything, signed the contract...and then entered remodeling hell. The individual assigned as "project manager" was incompetent and spoke virtually unintelligible English. The workers were rude and left the worksite a disaster each day. I heard them complaining about our dog (and we were careful to keep her away from them). After one day of chaos we left to stay with family for a week and things rapidly deteriorated. Problems popped up (as they will) and I was left dealing with the project manager and their broken English, only to learn they felt I was the problem for leaving the house in their hands while the demolition took place. They ordered the wrong flooring tile. They mismeasured cabinets (leading to a SIX WEEK DELAY due to their error, with no compensation for the disruption). I watched as they laid the floor tile, asking about proper backing board as the previous owner had retiled without the proper backing board. I was told all was fine. 6 months after the project was done I found five cracked tiles. The workers they hired to paint - idiots. They messed up edging of paint leaving crooked lines. In one place, the color I thought was correct (okay, my error) was obviously not correct but they said nothing. The only contractor I thought was good was the electrician and shortly after "completion", I had to call my regular electrician to reinstall a power outlet that kept pulling loose. We HAD planned, based on our initial experience, to use this company to remodel two master baths. At the end of our (3-4 week estimated) 4 month plus project we just wanted them out of our house. We would never use them again, let alone recommend to our worst enemy. Stay away from this company. Stay far, far away. read more

Terrible experience. We contracted with Prime Custom (Kamil) to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel in 2021 and we have had tons of issues. Their license # 2705166476 that they were operating under has been REVOKED as of May 2024. You can check this for yourself by going to the Virginia state website https://www.dpor.virginia.gov/LicenseLookup/ and entering the License # 2705166476. Yes, the name on the VA state website is different but they were operating externally as Prime Custom. They are now operating under a different license # 2705173804 which I find highly unethical. I have already filed a complaint with the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and they will investigate if any laws were broken. Before considering doing business with Prime Custom, or any other contractor, please ensure that you look up their license number on the above Virginia State website. Summary of my experience: - Bathroom: The shower has developed a major leak which is going through the bathroom floor into the lower level. I am contracting with another company to fix, which is going to cost thousands of dollars. Kitchen - It failed gas and safety inspections multiple times. To this day, I am concerned about the structural integrity of the load bearing wall in the kitchen and am contracting with another company to fix. Hopefully, this review can save others from the extremely frustrating experience that I have gone through. read more

We called Prime Custom to come out and give us a quote on countertop and backsplash install. The lady they sent initially went to the wrong address. After I gave her the correct address, she still could not find the house. After 30 minutes or so, she finally arrived. It has been 11 days with zero follow up. I understand that our job may be too small for some companies but prior to Prime Custom sending someone out to take measurements for the quote, I fully explained exactly what we were looking for. read more

Kamil and his team updated our kitchen. He responded to our additional needs even not related to kitchen, like removing some sink next to the garage. He came in frequently to supervise and also work himself, sometimes even after hours to finish earlier. He is a very reliable, sincere and amicable person open to communication at all times. When we decided to redo our kitchen cabinets and island we looked around and found Prime Custom. They are a One Stop Shop where you don't need to search for various contractors to complete the job, considering we had several different issues to tackle - modify existing hardwood flooring, cabinetry, quartz countertops, backsplash, electrical, plumbing, painting. Even without an appointment Kamil (owner) took the time to talk to us and listened to what we had in mind for the kitchen design. He immediately offered suggestions that made sense and saved us money using the right materials. His craftsmanship and quality of product line is outstanding. Prime Custom renovated my master bathroom and I am thrilled with the final result! It has become like an in-house spa. I always feel like I'm at a fancy hotel when I'm in my bathroom now which makes me so happy. The quality of the work is great and if ever I had an issue with something, all I had to do was ask and it was resolved without question. Mauricio and Blanca are very hard workers and I enjoyed working with them during this process. The tile installers were also very impressive and even came on the weekend so as not to delay. Kamil, the owner, even did some of the work himself! The crew did their best to keep everything clean and I appreciated that the floors leading from the front door upstairs to the master bath were all covered to prevent any carpet damage or mess. The whole process took longer than what was stated in the contract but with COVID delays I do not fault the company. They still finished the work in 20 working days. My project manager, Teagan, was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely polite and respectful. While we were waiting on one final piece of the bathroom to be delivered (tub), we self-installed a bidet attachment and accidentally dented the brand new tower cabinet with a wrench in the process (don't bring tools into your brand new bathroom!). The damage was on one drawer and even though the beautiful cabinetry comes with touch-up paint, we couldn't quite get it to look right. I showed Teagan and he took the drawer and got it repaired at no additional cost to us. You can't even tell that we dented it! I very much appreciated this service and it really shows that they care about their customers. I did feel I was a valued customer during the process. Not everything with the bathroom went smoothly. This is primarily attributed to the designer that was assigned my bathroom. She did not order things in a timely fashion, nor would she get back to me about things when she said she would. It was very frustrating and resulted in miscommunication to the team and things being ordered incorrectly or not ordered at all. This designer is no longer working at Prime. I don't hold this part of the experience against the rest of the team because they did all they could to remediate any issues the designer caused, and moving forward, there shouldn't be these issues. All in all, the bathroom looks amazing, I'm so pleased with the end result. A bathroom remodel like this is never inexpensive but Prime offered great value and service. I chose to use them over other design-build companies because they were most willing to help me try to be as close to my budget as possible and were transparent with pricing between labor and materials (as opposed to all the others who estimated an additional $10k+ and didn't itemize the labor/materials costs). Additionally, while they are more expensive than a non-licensed crew, to me paying extra for the licensing and people to organize the permitting and everything is worth it! read more

I highly recommend Prime Custom Kitchen & Bath for kitchen remodel. They finished my kitchen remodel earlier this month and I am in love with my new kitchen. We started planning the remodel in January of 2021 and went to a few companies for quotes and to see their products. We thought what we wanted was only available if we went full custom kitchen route and spend way over our budget but Prime found the exact product that we wanted and kept us in our budget. DESIGN: Their designer Filiz Ince is extremely talented and knows kitchens inside out. She has really great ideas on how to upgrade from generic kitchen to a custom kitchen. She was very attentive to what I wanted in my kitchen and never once said "that's not how people do it", which I heard from other places. For example, I did not want corner upper cabinet and Filiz suggested Blind corner cabinet right away which was exactly what I wanted. She sat with me for a long time going over the full design, she pointed out the irregularities in my old kitchen (how sink wasn't centered to the window) and fixed them. She loves designing kitchens and It Shows. Due to COVID, our cabinets were coming in September even though we placed the order in April, Filiz kept in touch with us and updated us on any news from the supplier. She helped with choosing countertops, faucets, lights, and hardware. She is a full service designer! INSTALL: We decided to demo old kitchen ourselves to keep the costs down and Prime had no objection to it. They were happy to do as we wished. Kamil Osmanjan supervised the install of our kitchen. His guys were professional and skillful. Even the counter install people appreciated how perfectly level the cabinets were! The cabinet install took 3 days which included - uppers, lowers, island and Oven-Pantry wall units. They covered all the floors in my house before working and vacuumed each night before leaving. Even though we demoed the old kitchen ourselves, Kamil was still willing to fix some of the things we missed. He was very accommodating to our requests on the spot. For Example - he moved the gas line inside the wall so that it will not get in the way of my drawers (it helped that he is licensed). We also asked him to trim out the Pantry wall on the spot and he made the time to do it. We are very thankful to his expertise in kitchens. He gave us his number and always answered his phone. OVERALL: I will definitely hire them again for any remodel project in my house. They are a great team and know their skill to the core. We have learned so much going through this process and appreciate the Prime team for their work. PS - the vent hood cover is delayed by GE appliances, please imagine that it's covered! read more

We used Prime Custom service to renovate our kitchen, and they did an amazing job. Due to COVID 19, the project ran longer than usual, but it's understandable. Kamil and his team worked very hard to deliver our dream kitchen with all the constraints. They accommodated our change requirements, fixed issues we didn't aware. Project manager and the contractors were always polite. The cabinets we ordered were high quality, and the team's workmanship was very good. Upon installation of cabinets, they spotted few cabinet doors had quality issue, and immediately re-ordered them for us. There were additional work orders in this project because re-routing of the pipes, fixing gas line and other stuff. Kamil and his team explained well the additional work required and didn't do things that were not necessary. We worked with Filiz to design our kitchen, they exceeded our expectation. She gave us idea to tear down the wall to expand the counter space and the overall space of kitchen. She worked with us to pick the cabinets, tile, countertop and other materials. We highly recommend Prime Custom for any renovation project. Prime Custom handle the construction aspect of our kitchen renovation project. From the start of the demo to the last item on our punch list, we were thoroughly impressed with Prime Custom. Early on, it was clear to us that Kamil had been in the business over 20+ years. One of the attributes that I most appreciated about Kamil and his team was their ability to listen to my concerns and/or explain a certain installation or county code and provide reassurance that a particular item(s) would be done right and accordingly to the plan and our vision. In addition, we found Kamil's team did not shortchange attention to detail. Our kitchen involved a ton of intricate moldings, to include all cabinet front door appliances, and unique electrical / lighting applications. They worked with us to ensure the end result met our every expectation. In addition, we found them to be very reliable and communicative throughout the entire project. We recently finished an extension/renovation of our new home of which Prime Custom provided all the cabinetry. This included all new Kitchen, Bar/Outdoor Entertaining Area, 4 Bathrooms and a Laundry. From the moment we met with Aaron during the showroom visit he was organized, had very helpful recommendations as well as a fantastic creative flair. Prime Custom Kitchen and Bath has recently completed extensive works for us at our 1950s built historic home in Leesburg, VA and we are therefore well qualified to pass our experience. From the out set Aaron was both professional and pleasant to deal with, never making a commitment that he did not keep and always completing each stage on budget. But, by far and away what pleased us most was the very high quality of craftsman work delivered. When one considers that Aaron was simultaneously dealing with architect, the builder and very fussy owners it could be expected that there would be some difficult times but instead, ours was delightful experience with an outcome that has exceeded our expectations.
