Thank you Leticia for the consistently great customer service. My clothes always look great and they have a fast turn around time. Love the convenient after hours drop off and text message when my items are ready for pick up. read more

Amazing service every time. I've been to many Kona locations but this one is my favorite (2 yr customer here). I love that the place is highly organized and clean. Upon arrival you are greeted by friendly staff. I usually go to dry clean blazers, blouses, trousers and coats; they're very professional and have followed care instructions very well. Ive never been let down regarding a promised timeframe, in fact, they will have your clothes ready the next day after 12 pm (on weekdays). I relied on their services on a very tight schedule about two weeks ago it was the best decision I made; my clothes were ready before an important out of state flight. My clothes arrived in a perfect state despite being in a suitcase for a 5hr flight. read more

Very helpful and kind staff! They took their time and did the very best to get out a very difficult stain. They are a tad pricier than what I thought they would be, however I had a few coupons from the app. read more

This is my favorite dry cleaning. I like how they professionally organized - quick and efficient. I like their text messages to notify my clothing is ready for pick up usually earlier then scheduled. Sometimes they will give you a loyalty discount, which is very nice. The owner is a very friendly each time. She is always in a great mood and knows you by name. I want to mention the convenience an alteration services in one spot. Quick and easy. You highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. read more

EDIT: Beverly was so kind (and quick, talk about efficiency lol) and called me to clarify the pricing for my visit. She stated that since it wasn't clear, they would offer credit and ensure that future price lists include further details. Super nice and since it was a good experience I'm definitely inclined to go back. 9/25/2020: Moved to the area recently and read the good reviews before popping by to drop off 3 items I'd been putting off (1 long coat, 1 blouse, and 1 cashmere sweater). They were quick and had it done in under 24 hours, but I waited the work week to swing back and grab them. Upon inspection they are fairly clean, don't have a "fresh" scent or anything, but don't smell musty either. I did notice some specks on my cashmere sweater but perhaps I had waited to long to bring it in...so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Overall clean: 4 stars Efficiency: 5 stars Price: 3 stars. It cost over $30 for the items mentioned above. I couldn't really calculate it based on their price list at the front desk (should have been around 21 or so)...perhaps they tacked on extra for the material? Wish they would have told me or verified the price prior. I might have to shop around other places who might offer the same service for cheaper. read more

I took my 2 sweaters in on Saturday and picked them up today. 1 sweater still had the same stain I had showed the attendant and the 2nd sweater had a hole in the middle which I found right away upon its inspection. These sweaters were both in very good condition without defects when I dropped them off. I've left the items there and am now awaiting a response from the manager. This review is just based on the quality of the clothes coming back to me I'm hoping to alter my review based off of how the damaged garment is handled. read more

No contact after three weeks - so I went in and at first they could not locate my items. Try to say I did not leave a sample in order to complete the alterations. Then they found the sample, altered the pants, called me to say it was ready for pick up the following day. Picked up the items to be told the suit pants were not ready...huh?! I called to inquire and was told both pants were in the hanger. Checked hanger - one pair of pants! Called manager and later found the pants were just delivered to the location...awful customer service and obviously disorganized processes. They didn't charge for the alterations BUT now I worry they even altered the suit pants correctly. This was my first time using this place and it will be my last! read more

This is my new go to cleaners! They do same day cleaning, have great hours (7 to 7), and even text you when your clothes are ready for pick up! Did I mention the prices are reasonable? This place is great! read more

If I could provide a negative review for this cleaner, I would. They have ruined several of my silk shirts and said there was "nothing they could do." In fact, one manager called me to say I could come back to receive credit for the damages, but when I went to the store, the store manager stated they could not do anything about the damages. This is after waiting for several weeks for a response. I will never return to this or any other Kona cleaners as they have proven time and again to provide the worst service possible. read more

Needed a new dry cleaner as I moved due to work. This one is just down the street from my office and the reviews are consistent. They did a good job and I actually got my clothes before the expected date. I like the fact that they can text you when the clothes are ready. Pricing seemed reasonable and comparable to my former place. read more

Kona cleaners was great and extremely affordable. Cynthia was so sweet and did a fantastic job with our items. We even chatted a while afterwards and make the visit even more enjoyable. We had our wedding dress and suits done plus a shirt and another dress and the cost was extremely affordable and they did a great job. Finished in a week for all 5 items! Highly recommend read more

Based on good reviews, I tried Kona Cleaners when I needed to have a couple of specialty items dry-cleaned. Katie was very nice and helpful. The price was reasonable, and she took care to note the special handling that would be required to get the clothes back to me in tip-top condition. I would not hesitate to recommend this business, and I will take any future dry-cleaning needs to them. read more

I cannot believe the workmanship and behavior that came from this facility. I brought in a sash for a simple dry cleaning job. When I picked it up I was devastated to find that all the seams on the sash had been released. What made it worse, was that the young girl working there had the audacity to ask me if I was sure I hadn't brought it in like that. I could not believe she asked me something like that. On top of that, the customer service person Diane lacked the empathy you need in a position like hers. She was very condescending and rude in response to my complaint and I honestly feel that she should not be responding to customer concerns with that attitude. Moral of the story , don't come here or take photos of your clothing before you bring it in case they want to accuse you of ruining it. Worst first experience and I will never come back. read more

Great service, I being coming to this location for many months. Cynthia is always smiling and willing to help to everyone. She's the best. Thank you. read more

Best cleaners ever !!! I go here specifically for Cynthia. Always makes sure everything is perfect.

Quite good work in alterations, friendly service, good prices. Recommended. I had them lengthen sleeves on two jackets and they did it well.

In fact, we do not have an absolute control of all aspects of of our job and business. But what makes a business successful is the way they response or react to undesirable situations. I received a message from David, Manager, right after my complain. And he wants to give me a full refund and he is planning to take an action to avoid further problems. After this experience I believe Kona Cleaner is one of those successful businesses because they do not only do the quality job but also they manage to satisfy their customers need. Thanks David for caring about your customers! read more

I have such a mixed feeling about this place. Pro: they are close to home and do a pretty good job cleaning high fashion pieces. BUT! For all the extra money I'm willing to put down for designer pieces (which have a difference charge to regular dry cleaning) this place really needs to up their service and attitudes. When I inquired about a few items, Lisa who picked up the phone, first questioned whether I had called the right place. Second, got super defensive over nothing. It seriously felt like she was trying to turn away customers instead of welcoming us back. I mean, if you don't want our business, you "reserve the right to refuse service to any one" right? It's not always this bad here, but I've encountered very bad services 50% of the time. Maybe I should just drive a few more blocks to my old dry cleaning guy. At least he will bless me every time we say bye. read more

Too expensive! However they do honor their yelp discount which helps. And clothes were nicely pressed. $5.75 for shirts or slacks dry clean $2.75 for shirt laundry and press $2.50 for small stitching fix on shirt read more

First time coming to this cleaners and I must say I'm impressed. Amazing service, Cinthia was super helpful from the moment I walked in until I picked up my belongings. It was reasonably priced and I loved the text notifications/reminders to let you know your things are ready for pick up. I highly recommend 10/10. read more

Cheats! Saw a $15 for $25 coupon on Yelp and decided to use it. Went to the merchant and showed it to the lady at the checkout. She said - great/ok. Made the purchase and upon showing her to code, she said "can't honor it since system doesn't allow me to." I said, "...but I just bought this in front of u..." her response, "you'll need to figure this out with Yelp! Sorry." This used to be a great place but something seems to have changed recently. I've given this place a 5-star before but sadly due to system snaffu and customer service, have to move it down to zero. Lost my $15. Disputing with Yelp. read more

I have been going to this place for about a year and they do a SUPER , SUPER job ! Always fast and friendly. Nandi is so happy and friendly ! THANKS ! read more

I wanted to take the time to write a review to thank Samantha! She saved the day today when our washing machine broke. The team at Kona helped us at the last minute with our fluff and fold and Samantha helped to pull it all together and went above and beyond by providing me with the best experience I could ask for. She has such an amazing attitude and went as far as calling me to let me know my dry cleaning had arrived so I didn't have to make two trips to pick up my clothes. Did I mention Samantha is also very knowledgeable? I've been coming to Kona Cleaners for a long time and love them. They are very lucky to have Samantha who is clearly a leader and takes pride in helping others. Thank you! read more

I had been a customer for a couple of years when I recently noticed that a skirt that had coffee stains still had the stains after it has supposedly been cleaned. I realized that I hadn't mentioned it when I dropped it off and took it back a second time and pointed it out. A sticker was placed in the area on the skirt and for a second time, the skirt came back looking exactly the same. It made me question how they were cleaning my clothes and when I examined some other pieces, I wasn't convinced that they were actually being cleaned. Don't get me wrong - the ladies are always very friendly, the interactions are always positive, the system is technologically up-to-date (all of which earn them a star) but if I'm paying you to clean my clothes and you don't, then I am going elsewhere. I took my skirt (and the rest of the clothes I had paid to be cleaned from Kona) to H & H Cleaners and my skirt no longer has coffee on it and my clothes smell like they were cleaned. Sorry, Kona, but I won't be coming back. read more

I brought my over $1k coat, $900 Porsche jacket, and 4 cashmere sweaters here and they took great care of it under their Couture Care program. Joselyn is the super sweet manager there & she was so informative and helpful. She recognized that my clothes were high end designer before I had mentioned it & explained how their Couture Care program takes special attention and care to such designer clothes. I'm so glad that I found a cleaners that understands how to care for high end clothing! Don't go anywhere else! read more

Awesome cleaners!! Service is always with a smile, they keep their integrity with when my clothes will be back in to pick up, prices are really good considering they use ECO-FRIENDLY methods for dry cleaning! Thanks Josselin for your awesome attitude and all your help! You Rock!! Definitely recommending this place to friends! read more

This cleaners is OK if you live in the immediate area - but not the best cleaners that i have experienced. I have now been several times. Once they were going to return to me some clothes that were not mine in addition to mine (i had to let them know) another time a spot was not removed from a jacket. They were not going to tell me and when I asked I was told that they never are advised about whether or not a spot or stain could be removed. Every other cleaners I have been to has always told me if something could not be cleaned when i picked up. What they have cleaned has been fine. read more

The last few times my dress shirts collars looked terrible with creases added where there shouldn't be. No longer going to Kona.

Too expensive. Probably about 40% higher than other dry cleaners in the area for the exact same work.

Quality work done by nice people. It is nice when Josselin greets you with a "Hello" and remembers who you are and what clothes I brought in, even without my ticket. Terrance Green read more

This place is ridiculous! I washed my designer coat there, worth more than $2000, and they lost my belt!!! I put the washed clothe into the closet, and was trying to wear it 2 weeks after, only to find that the belt is lost!! Found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I came here to get my coats dry cleaned. The location was clean, well lit and there's plenty of parking. And when I received my coats I was so impressed with the outcome! Not to mention the great customer service that I had received from Josselin! She was so helpful, answered all my questions and greets everyone with a smile. I'm definitely coming back for all my dry cleaning and alterations. read more

Wow! I have to say, with my first concern, I was immediately contacted by the Manager,Dave. The nice lady from the cleaners at Placentia location even called me to apologize for the telephone problem. She wasn't the problem for the phone lines however she was very nice to find out for me a better time of when my clothes would be in house. (Great!). She tried to offer to waive the cost for today and another deal, for the inconvenience, however I didn't want that. I just wanted someone to fix the phone line connection, so it doesn't happen to anyone else, when needing to speak to someone at the location you dropped your clothes off at. Thanks again, for the immediate response! Way to go, Kona Cleaners! read more

I had not expected to have such a technologically advanced dry cleaning experience. I appreciated the emails confirming drop-off and letting me know when garments were done. I also think emailed receipts are great as it makes it so much easier to track them for accounting purposes. The attendants were kind, understanding, and polite. I am eager to continue utilizing this service. All garments came out great and were carefully hung. read more

After: I received the items, and they are fine. Thank you for the complementary service. Before: I just got off a phone with Kona Cleaner with not so sure feeling. I dropped off 5 items this morning, but received a paper receipt and an email saying 4 items instead. I called and I felt the employee who answered was frustrated. (because a customer called for a help?) This is my first time using Kona, so I want to give a benefit of doubt, but I have a feeling that misspelling my name (I have the receipt to prove it) and wrong count? May be I should go back to my old dry cleaner instead of giving a chance to a new one? (I have been using several dry cleaners for over twenty years and none of them ever made mistakes in count or my name, so those errors seems little disappointing.) I might revise my review when I receive my items this week (2nd chance). If the service is improved, then I will be happy to give five stars. Usually, customers expect service business to pay attention to vital data such as quantity and customer name. Hopefully, things will be better. read more

So I initially went to this place because I saw all of the great reviews. It was ok, I "dry cleaned" three white shirts and the total was 15 dollars and some change even after the 5 dollars off, so definitely not cheap. I got the shirts a day after but the shirts weren't really pressed and still wrinkly, the whole point of dry clean was so I wouldn't have to iron the shirts later. O well, and on top of that, when I came back to pick up the shirts the worker at the counter advised me that she does not usually work at this location and couldn't find the bag of collar stays that came with the my shirts. I most likely will not be returning to this place. read more

Clean and convenient location. Friendly staff. But $5.75 for one pair of slacks is too high. Bummer won't be back.
