I've been going here for 10 years and I'm sad to say they just don't care anymore. The owners hired new staff to replace themselves (possibly sold the store completely?). Honestly, if you're paying to have a garment you care about altered or cleaned, go somewhere else or at least to a real tailor/ seamstress for alterations. I took a $1200 blazer here and they burned through the wool and creased the hand rolled lapel. Offered no refund. Haven't been here in a while due to that but I decided to take a cheaper suit of mine here because I needed it altered last minute. I was sure they'd be more careful this time but to my surprise... they burned the sleeve with an iron. I'm extremely disappointed in what this place has become. They charge the same price as someone who actually cares to do a good job. After my first bad experience I couldn't bring myself to write a negative review at the time but this is just shameful service. read more

I was surprised when I heard about Kelly selling the business. My husband and I were regular customers with a lot of dry cleaning needs, and Kelly always provided excellent service with fair prices, quick turnaround, and great alterations. Although we've been back a few times since the change in ownership, it's just not the same. The prices have increased significantly, and they now add extra charges on top of the regular price. Unfortunately, the quality of the clothes has also declined - I've noticed blouses fading, and my husband's shirts come back wrinkled and stained, in my opinion it isn't worth the price we're paying read more

It is very pricy with over $5 for a shirt laundry. And it took more than 5 days. Not value for money.

I brought in my suit for a bit of tailoring and a dry clean, and I brought my wife's dress in as well. The place was tough to find since there is another cleaner in the same plaza, and I was confused about where to go. I called two or three times, and I could tell the employee was a bit grumpy about it, but I finally got there. For 30 bucks, they steamed my wife's dress, cleaned my suit, and tailored it. All of it went perfectly. I think the price was pretty reasonable, especially in comparison to where I used to go (5th Ave. Cleaner on Yorba Linda), where they'd charge me over 15 bucks just to clean the suit, and easily another 10 to clean the dress. The parking was simple and easy, and the employees were friendly once I arrived. It's definitely my new dry cleaner. read more

The best cleaners this part of town! I took my bridesmaid dresses in to get pressed and they were given back to me perfect! They attached the dresses to the hanger in a way they wouldn't wrinkle or need a safety pin to attach it. One of my bridesmaids took hers to a dry cleaner closer to her and it was safety pinned and wrinkled before it got to the venue. After my experience with the bridesmaid dresses, I have since taken my husbands tux, dress shirts and even my wedding dress to be cleaned and preserved. It took awhile to get back but when it did it was mint condition. Put in a nice box that is made for wedding dresses (no acid to turn it yellow). Was an amazing experience. I've brought into Kelly's my Black Short romper by Nicole Miller in perfect shape for a dry clean as it reads on the tag and when I picked it up had strings sticking out of the collar material, iron marks and faded...not sure in which world a dry clean involves an iron and which part of dry cleaning am I missing. I went back to point all of this out and the lady at the front said oh that's no problem it's normal for the strings to start sticking out of the material and she picked up a scissors to start "fixing" the problem...the problem is that my romper I paid a lot of money for hasn't been dry cleaned from the looks of it...but again not sure in which world it is normal to take your valued attire, pay money to have it cleaned properly and have it come back in such shape that you don't recognize it. read more

I'm adding Kelly's Dry Cleaners to Yelp so they will give me a discount. Ha ha, gotcha. Seriously, I only will review when something is surprisingly good or surprisingly awful. So I'm adding Kelly's because it's probably the ultimate dry cleaner in the world. Or at least the best one in California and New York City (and NYC dry cleaners notoriously suck). Kelly runs her own shop (small asian lady who acts more american than I do and probably speaks better English) gives you a big heavy duty green dry cleaning bag (or two if you ask) with your name and customer number on it for free. BIG. And useful, because you don't have to stand in line to drop off since it has all your info on it. While standing in there I've seen people basically run bythe front door and toss their big green bag through the door like they were jogging and didn't want to stop. I of course want to chit chat, count the shirts, point out the broken buttons, find out when I should pick my stuff up, make sure I tell her what to starch and what not to, but she puts it all on the computer so now she automatically starches all my white shirts at the 'moderate' level unless I tell her different, which I never do, because why would I? Was that the longest sentence in the world? She hems pants well for $7 and has them done when you need them. All laundry and dry cleaning come back lovely and praiseworthy. Her suit hangars are better quality than what I'm used to, and on silk shirts she rams wadded up paper around the collar so it stays nice and doesn't wrinkle in the closet. It's almost like she cares! It looks like they do the cleaning on site because I can see big machines in the back, and maybe that's why they never lose clothes. Oh and she's never stapled a laundry number through my shirt (!) like some, always through the tag. I don't know how expensive she is; she just tells me what my bill is and I pay it. I don't see any funky ads painted in the windows for a dollar a shirt or something so she's probably not the cheapest. But as my old NY Jewish boss used to say, "Rob, sometimes you have to pay a little bit more to get the REAL bargain!" That's been good advice and here you get it for free. I doubt she discounts because she doesn't lack customers. Other plusses: -She knows her customers and is already moving the rack for you as you come in the door. - Fixes stains and buttons. - Best of all, she said she'll never open another store. LOVE THAT ATTITUDE. She must like being completely competent instead of rich. Negatives: -Funky intersection; Funky driveway; aim for the yogurt shoppe, then headfake and cut right. -The yogurt shoppe is right next door and the yogurt is very good. Some may think of this as a positive. Not me. -Kelly is only in the dry cleaning business. Any problems you may have with your love life, your finances, problems with your golf swing, or dysfunctional family relationships, she is no help at all. -She doesn't like me. I choose to believe it's because I'm picky about my dry cleaning, but there's a chance she just has bad taste. R. read more

I have been to Kelly's about three times now, and I've decided this is my go to place! They are always very nice, and the prices are fair. I've never had an issue with my clothes either- they come back beautiful! This includes a wool pea coat that I recently had cleaned- my cat had decided to take a nap on it, and it was completely matted with white fur. Really long back story: I went wedding dress shopping with most of my bridal party. While we were there, my flower girl tried on some dresses too, just for fun. I fell in love with my gown, and they had a flower girl dress that perfectly matched mine! Unfortunately, they were only selling the samples of the flower girl dresses because they had discontinued carrying them. I thought it would be no big deal, I would just find another bridal store that carried the line and order from them later. Unfortunately, this wasn't as easy as I thought. Every store in Southern California had discontinued the line. I went back to the boutique to figure out a (unrelated) bridesmaid dress issue. I brought up my problems finding a retailer for the flower girl dress. By some serious miracle, they still had that sample flower girl dress, 5 months later! And, it's still a little big on her, the perfect size for her to grow into! However, it had a few small stains and was quite dingy and dirty on the bottom, as most sample dresses are. Cue my search for a dry cleaner! I was looking for a dry cleaner that would do a good job, had reasonable prices, and would not ruin the dress. Having the dress get accidentally ruined was a HUGE worry of mine because, even though I got it for only $50 due to sample pricing, I had absolutely NO WAY of getting another one. I found Kelly's cleaners on yelp and was super impressed with her nothing but positive reviews. I brought the dress in, and she said that the edges might fray a little due to the type of material and stitching. I was a little worried but she promised to do her best. She gave me a 6 day return time, which I was fine with. We are still 9 months out from wedding, so I really don't have any huge time constraints. I went to pick it up yesterday, and it looks better than I could have ever expected. I thought the dress was a darker ivory, but it was actually just dirty. There was no fraying that I saw. It looks completely perfect, like it came straight from the designer! I could not be any more pleased. I have even called the boutique I bought the dress from to tell them about my great experience, as they were having problems with the dry cleaner that they used to refer to! If I could give them 10 stars I would! The results beyond exceeded my expectations, and they can consider me a lifetime customer! read more

My parent's owned a dry cleaners since I was a little kid and I have always been spoiled with free dry cleaning and growing up I always had clean and pressed clothing, so I am extremely particular when it comes to dry cleaners. I am also very aware of the cost. Paying anything over 1.50 per laundered shirt is really pushing my boundaries. I drive from Orange and not just because of cost, but simply because they do a great job. I used to go to a place in Orange, off of Tustin that would break buttons on a regular basis and would not replace them at no charge. I was shocked when I found out my nice shirt would only cost about 2 or 3 dollars to have dry cleaned (I can't remember the exact amount). Excellent Service Because of an unexpected business trip, I needed to find a one day cleaner near my home and made several calls without finding a reputable cleaner who accommodate my request for such quick service. That is, until I called Kelly's. Adrianna answered my call and told me that although it was past their deadline (it was late afternoon) if I could get there ASAP Kelly's could have my husband's suit cleaned. His shirts, however,would take one more day. Fair enough. I had one day to dry clean my son's suit. I had never been to Kelly's before and based on the great Yelp ratings, I decided to call to find out if they do same day dry cleaning. I called at 7:30 am and the lady who answered was very pleasant and asked me to bring the suit as soon as I could.
