I'm confused about what happened here. I requested a quote for a laptop battery replacement and was…read moretold $75 plus tax on the parts, so around $78, which I still think is a good price. I agreed and said I would come in on the 8th. A few days later, I messaged to reschedule to the 15th. The owner replied on Yelp that it was fine. On the morning of the 15th, I texted my arrival time a few hours in advance, to which he never replied. I arrived at the shop with my laptop, and the employee working said there was no order for me, which was confusing because the owner had been so communicative. He said he would order the part and it would be there later that week and I agreed to come back. I got a text confirmation with my order number and everything. Fast forward a week and a half: silence. Nothing. I replied to the order confirmation text asking if it had arrived, and I don't know if it went through or not, but it's just weird they wouldn't have the part by now or some kind of update. I gave up, bought a kit on Amazon for $35, and installed it myself in 10 minutes. I don't know where this project fell apart, but if the shop didn't want to take it on, they could have declined it. I'm just confused by lack of follow-through because they have so many good reviews, and I thought I had done everything I could, both in person and online, to confirm I wanted the service.

My computer had crashed, caught a virus, with a complex password change, and much, much more. In less than 2 hours, Fabian had not only scrubbed my hard-drive, erased the virus, re-installed Office and the stock programs...but he'd upgraded all the programs, PLUS downloaded/installed a half-dozen more that have become exceptional. THEN, as if that wasn't enough, he made me back-up disks of everything!! That scumbag place (Fry's)---where I'd purchased my laptop---would have charged me almost $100, taken 2-3 days, not installed anything extra (nor make back-up disks), and would likely have damaged my computer (I speak from 3 prior nightmares dealing with this TERRIBLE joke of a company [Fry's]). Fabian and Marleni were polite, efficient, and exceptional...and charged me only $40!!! (Normally $50, but I had their 20%-off coupon from the RTUI app.) (They did such a good---GREAT!!!---job that I gave them a $10 tip.) If you value your time, value dealing with good people, and you're anywhere within 10 miles of Wilmington, go check these two wonderful people out. Not only do they fix computers, but they've got a very nice computer center (for renting computers CHEAPLY!!!), can do faxes, copies, and much, much more (EVEN TAX RETURNS). /s/: Randolf

A two day job became a one day job because there was a good crew who worked well together and didn't draw attention to themselves during business hours. I would maybe lower this to a 4.5 or 4.75 because a couple of holes didn't get caulked, but because of all of the changes, it was not a deal breaker. The holes have since been covered. Thanks for a job well done. Job included installing, changing, and connecting 16 cameras to NVR, upgrading memory of NVR, cable management, and laying special cables outside, but inconspicuously. Plenty of drilling needed to be done and going through chaseways and crawlspaces.

I went in hopes that they could tell me why my HP Spectre 360 x, (paid over $1,800 when it first came out) wasn't charging anymore. I was trying to save my valuable data including photos, music, and my own productions. Larry told me that he would check it out. A couple weeks pass by without any notice so I call and they let me know they are still looking into it. More time passes and no news, telling me they are looking into it and Larry will call me back. About 3 months later, and they tell me they cant find it. 4 months later I am moving and they have not responded about my laptop, at this point ignoring me and not returning any call. , they never did to begin with. Almost 8 months later and they have chosen to not respond still and my laptop is missing. My theory is they kept it, gave it away, or sold it.
