Amazing deals! I got Combo #2: spicy crab onigiri, egg sando, and an iced matcha latte for about $15 (I think). There is sooo much filling, especially compared to some other onigiri places I've had in NYC. Even the egg sando had a lot of filling. Great balance of flavors. Would def come back. Only reason I rated it as 4 stars is because I personally like my matcha very strong and this was slightly more milky than I prefer. But even so, decent matcha flavor. Kome cafe I really ended up liking! This is a newly opened cafe inside Queens Crossing on the ground floor. It's a nice solid spot with a lot of good food items. I also like how they had signs for the cafe. The best deal to get is the combo where you are able to get a drink, onigiri, and egg sandwich, and it's $15, which is a good deal. Each item comes out to be $5, and the portion sizes are really big. I liked the grapefruit yuzu refresher drink, it was tasty and very refreshing. The egg salad sandwich was also really good and huge, it's super filling! The onigiri was ok, it could use a bit more flavoring and spices added, it didn't have too much flavoring in it. I had better onigiri, but the serving size is huge for the onigiri. My food also came out fairly quickly, it took around 5-10 minutes to come out. Customer service was also good and friendly. The hours are good here, and they're open very early from 8am or 9am. It's a good place to get breakfast before going to work, if you work around the area. I love onigiri so I had to check this place out. It is downstairs in Queens Crossing. You order at the kiosk. I took my order up to the food court on the 2nd Floor. I went with Combo 2, which comes with an Egg Sando, any onigiri and any drink, though there is a surcharge for certain onigiri and drinks. I picked Spicy Crab for my onigiri and a Taro Matcha Latte for my drink. The Spicy Crab Onigiri is generously filled. I like that the rice is seasoned with furikake. There is definitely a kick to the (imitation) crab? Don't worry about seeing the lack of onigiri in their display, they make them when you order! The Japanese Egg Sando is generously filled as well. It is on white bread, which is soft but I would have liked it to be on shokupan for more airiness and the lack of crust. The eggs are cooked well. There is a good balance of egg and mayo, but pretty plain otherwise. The Taro Matcha Latte (less ice, 25% sugar) had pretty good taro and matcha flavor! Be sure to mix it all up. The matcha is premade, and is more of the frothy consistency, so if you don't mix it, it just sits on top. I would have like an option for alternative milks. Overall, a nice spot to grab a quick meal and a drink. I will have to try the other onigiri fillings next time. They have a Combo 1, which comes with any 2 Onigiri and any drink (surcharge for certain ones). read more

So glad Kome opened nearby and opens at 8am so I can grab a drink and breakfast before work. It was so good the first time that I came back again the next day to try another drink. My daughter loves the spam onigiri and my husband and I enjoyed the egg sando. The flavor was spot on and it was so fluffy and filling. The workers were super friendly and quick with making the drinks and onigiri's fresh. I think the egg sando's are premade in the mornings and left in the fridge until someone orders it. I came to Kome in May when they were running a promo where you get a tote bag with $15 purchase. Not sure if it's still going on now. There was also a combo where you order an egg sando, onigiri, and drink for $15 as well, so it was a no brainer for me. The egg sando had a good amount of chunky yet creamy filling, and was fluffy. The bread added a good sweetness. I enjoyed it. I tried the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura onigiris. The spicy tuna had a good kick in flavor, and had more filling than the shrimp. The onigiris seem to be made to order with their house made furikake, rice vinegar and sesame seeds. The strawberry matcha drink was fine, but could use more strawberry. There is a kiosk where you can order. I had questions so I decided to order at the register. It took them a while to take my order and I was skipped over so I subtracted 1 star. I ordered the combo with 2 onigiris and a drink. I ordered Ube oatmilk latte which was extra fee. The Ube latte was so delicious and it was not too sweet. It was a big cup too. Also ordered the Unagi onigiri which was also an extra fee. They did not have the Korean bbq pork so ordered the shrimp tempura onigiri. It took a few minutes for them to make it. My kids said the onigiris were really good. They're also larger than other places. They are currently running a promo where you get a cute tote bag with $15 purchase. The place looks very clean. This place just opened up last week and I wanted to check this place out. It is located on the lower level facing the elevators. I ordered the Ube Latte, it was not that sweet and could taste the ube. I tried a spicy crab, spicy tuna and spam onigiri. They were flavorful and delicious. I also tried the Japanese egg sando, it had a good amount of eggs in the sandwich. It was also delicious. I will definitly come back to try their other items. read more

I came here a few days ago to order the Sakura Earl grey latte. The drink came out in a fast speed. Service was impeccable and the ambience was nice. The drink itself was not my cup of tea. I could barely taste the Sakura or the Earl Grey. To me the latte tasted like a regular iced coffee, which was not special. This establishment also has onigiris which I will try out next time. The next of my visit, I will also try one of their matchas, as I like matchas more than I do coffee. This is located in the basement level of the Queens Crossing Mall. There is not a lot of seating downstairs so I'd recommend going up a level to the food level to enjoy the food. read more

I am a FOMO foodie and always on the prowl to try new things. On a random coffee yelp search, I came across Kome and decided to give it a try, sucker for a good sando but not too big of a fan for onigiri due to rice. The person helping me was super helpful and nice at 8:30am answering all my questions regarding the drinks and helping me with my choice anxiety :P even though there are photos by the register outlining the drink components. I decided to get Combo 2 so I can try everything and pay the extra $1 for a specialty latte. For ~$16 including tax, I received a really filling egg sando, 20oz sea salt cream jasmine oat latte and spicy crab onigiri. The spicy crab onigiri must have been made fresh because it was warm when I received it and when I tried it, OMG it was so flavorful and DEFINITELY fresh because the rice wasn't stale or hard and what's even better is that it was generously filled instead of being just rice. The Sea Salt Cream Jasmine Oat Latte was amazing - you can taste both the expresso and tea notes which is pretty hard to capture and I have consistently tried a bunch of places in Flushing that is pretty disappointing. They definitely used a really rich and heavy cream to make the sea salt cream and I can taste it just licking the cream lol. I would honestly skip it due to personal preference as for me it is salty and rich, and feels like adding unnecessary calories. The stall is downstairs from the food court. I would definitely be coming back to try other onigiris and specialty lattes. They open at 8am so people in the vicinity are so lucky that they can grab before work. read more
