I've always liked Kokee Tea at the Maryland locations but I wanted to swing by the lorton location after work to treat myself after a 10.5 hour shift. Service is wonderful, staff are friendly and attentive. I will say, they didn't ask me to adjust my milk choice, sugar or ice levels so that's something they can work on asking their customers. I order the Thai tea with regular whole milk and 50% ice and sugar and it was still a tad sweet for me. The decor is beautiful and very clean with plenty of seating. read more

This has been on my list for a while and I've finally had the chance to check it out- and I'm so glad I did! The ambiance and interior are very modern and classy but still inviting. The staff are kind, wonderful, and attentive. This was a great spot for me to get away from home and get some work done on my laptop. They have a wide variety of menu items and boba tea flavors, as well as some macarons and croffles. I chose a lavender latte (that came with 2 espresso shots- tho I asked for only 1), and I loved it! Beautiful location! The soft lighting to the decor and music have been well thought out in this spot. Service was quite friendly especially with me being indecisive on which bubble tea to choose. It was relatively quiet but I can see this appealing to remote workers or students looking to get some work done. read more

Walked into Kokee Tea and instantly felt like I found my new work-from-anywhere spot. Cozy vibes, chill lighting, and quiet enough to actually get stuff done without feeling like you're in a food court war zone. Ordering was a little confusing at first. The kiosk had me second guessing life choices, so I just went to the counter. Good move. The guy was super friendly and got us straight. I got the piña colada slush and felt like I was on vacation for 10 minutes. My fiancée got the Oreo CC brown sugar drink and loved it. We both wished we could've added ice cream but still no complaints. Atmosphere wins here. We'll definitely be back. Solid 5 out of 5. read more

WOW!!!!!!!! A lovely establishment in the community for boba, tea, coffee and all in between. This place is truly special as it doubles as a social connection spot and it's family owned. Kokee Tea. I love where the name comes from and represents! Cute shop with comfy seating to enjoy ice cream or boba. I went here with my niece for boba. She got the taro and I went with the matcha latte. She enjoyed her tea and the bonus was it wasn't as sweet as some of the many places I've been to. I didn't like my matcha latte. It had a really strong and earthy taste to it compared to some of the ones I've had. I'm still going back but opting for a different flavor. The service was quick and conveniently located by my kids' Jitsu gym. read more

I went to this place a while back and I asked for a alternative that was like honey boba since they ran out and a gentleman there gave me something that was completely different. Instead of the honey flavor It was lychee and personally not a favorite. I decided to give the place a second chance and a young girl named Abeeha was very kind and professional. She gave me advice on some of the most popular drinks sold at this location and worked quick and efficiently. Service 10/10 from her! The vibes in this Kokee Tea establishment are very cozy and relaxing with a hint of jazz music in the background but don't fall for the vibes. I sat there with my wife and child that I was getting judged by the other workers. Very few of the members that were kind and gave my family and I good customer service. The drinks that were made tasted delicious and the ice cream was very creamy. I would come back to this place but leave right after. read more

This is an excellent place for Boba Tea. The staff are friendly with the diverse crowds that frequent this place (including students from the nearby high school and their parents). The ambience is nice, with comfortable seating and a relaxed, chill vibe. It's also pretty quiet most of the time and a great place for quiet conversation.
