I don't usually write retail reviews, but this Kohl's deserves it. I've been shopping at the Woburn location for more than ten years, and even after visiting other Kohl's stores in Massachusetts and other states, this one remains my favorite by far. The difference is noticeable. In early January, I stopped in and was genuinely struck by how beautiful the store looked -- clean, organized, and completely reset after the holidays. Having seen the intensity of the December rush, I was impressed by how quickly and seamlessly the team transformed the space. What really sets this store apart, though, is the staff. The associates are consistently helpful, professional, and welcoming. The newer checkout process is handled efficiently, and the line moves quickly. One associate in particular, Lisa, stands out -- she is friendly, efficient, and makes every visit better. This Kohl's clearly benefits from strong leadership and a team that takes pride in their work. It's a pretty big Kohl's but it's hard to find average sizes. The women's sizes are 0-4 and 12-18. If you're in the middle, you're looking at a very picked over selection. Same with the sneakers - I'm a 7/7.5 and so many of those shoes are gone. It's a bummer because they have some good stuff at a fair price point but the sizing options can be rough. read more

Stephanie on the return section truly treat customers based on colors. I have never felt such a discrimination on any kohls store. She treated us like trash when asking to return some items that we bought a few weeks ago. I am south east asian, came to USA on 2012 and since then I have been kohls member and shopping at kohls. But please have someone give her a proper training on how to behave with customer. Your businesses operation rely on good customer service; not how she treats with customers. It's consistent with other Kohl's stores, but it's so inappropriate that this particular location goes around while your shopping and asks if you want to sign up for a Kohl's card. It's always one particular woman who does this, and because of her, I won't be back to this location - it's one thing to be asked to sign up at checkout, but quite another to be asked several times when you're trying to shop IN PEACE without someone up in your face who doesn't take no for an answer. This pushy broad who asked me three different times to sign up last time I was there, as well as the time before that when I was shopping there on Black Friday. Yech. Why don't I learn? Why did I go back? Why would I think this would be a positive experience? This place is a serious mess. Nothing is organized or where it should be, stuff is all over the floor, nothing is accurately priced. Ugh. They had one line to queue up the registers, which effectively created the biggest cluster, confused and irate people, and blocked aisles, ugh. Ok, never, ever, ever, never, never again. I needed assistance to look at a watch, there wasn't anyone in the jewelry area at the time, but within a minute or two after I asked for help a very friendly lady greeted me and was very pleasant to talk with. The only negative I can think of is that there wasn't already an associate working the jewelry area, which may be trouble if you're in a rush. I have a love hate relationship with Kohl's. I love the clearance racks, and the fact that I can get work clothes SUPER cheap sometimes. I don't even know how many starts to give this Kohls. But, because of that ONE annoying lady who hounds me and asks me if I want a credit card, I give this place 1 star. It's like game of hunting. I walk to find things that I might want, not necessarily need and she jumps out at me like a bat from Hell. "MA'AM YOU WAAANT CREDIT CARRR---?" I immediately recognize her from 2-3 years past, cut her off and tell her that she's already asked me before and I do my best to walk away. Of course, she doesn't understand my passive aggressiveness, she continues to hound me down. "...So you want credit card?" UGH. Lady, how many times have you been slapped in the face? Ask me again! Then, she targets down a 13 year old in the junior section "MA'AMM YOU WAAANT CREDIT CARD???? OOHH, YOU A TEENAGER." I don't even know which is more annoying: The church group with the orange buckets who collects money outside on the intersections of the Mishuwam and Washington or this lady. Exactly what did she what position did she apply for this. "Credit card promoter"? "Customer annoyance"? This doesn't promote sales. This is driving customers away from you. I've never been pushed a credit card on me at any other Kohls. Why this one? The store is usually in disarray. I don't know how their sales are. But, give this lady a purposeful demotion and straight some sh*t out. Because, I know that I don't speak for myself when I'm trying to find the size that I need when all sizes are rearranged order. I always go to the Kohl's store in Woburn, especially when i need to buy gifts for my mother and sister...sometimes they put too many clothes on the same rack, making it harder for customers to find what they are looking for but overall i do like this store. read more

I have to say, I'm a regular Kohl's customer. A cardholder also. Why oh why does this store have online only coupons and not honour them in the store. I selected my items and showed the cashier the coupon. Without missing a beat she told me "online only" and this is your price. I asked for her to explain why that would be the case? She wouldn't and couldn't. So, I while standing in the store i places an "online order" for pickup i store. Therefore receiving my discount and without waiting for something to arrive in the courier. Ridiculous. I had already gone through the selection effort and needed the gift otherwise they would have lost the sale and a longtime consumer. Change your policy Kohl's! read more

Beware of Kohl's cash!! I purchased shoes and other gifts for Christmas and the total was above $50 so I received $10 Kohl's cash. The shoes were too small for my mom and we decided to return them. I went to the Woburn location and returned the shoes and even mentioned in front of the associate that we were going to buy other shoes that day. She never mentioned nor is it posted that if you return and not exchange, you can lose your Kohl's cash. We ended up buying shoes that actually cost more but they fit her and she was happy. At the register, I presented the associate with the $10 Kohl's cash. She scanned and said there was no money on it because when we returned the shoes, the total of the previous purchase fell below $50, negating the the Kohl's cash. I explained that nobody told me this at returns and I even presented her with the return receipt, which showed that I was just at returns, they did not budge. She even called over another associate who said the same thing and refused to understand that I was not scamming them, I was not told about the Kohl's cash manifesto. I don't normally shop at Kohl's because associate at the Woburn location make it seem like a favor if you walk in and they allow you to purchase items. I wonder what would have happened if I had already used the Kohl's cash and then returned the shoes, would they have charged me the $10?? I know they are trying to stop people from buying a bunch of things, picking up Kohl's cash, then returning the items but still keeping the cash to use. That would be a scam however even though that was not what I did, they still treated me like trash. Avoid this location and Kohl's in general. Retailers shouldn't be surprised why the general public orders on-line. At least computers don't roll their eyes at you and make you fell like crap. read more

Like others have mentioned, there is a woman who follows you around to ask you to open a Kohl's charge card. My husband and I have a joint card there, and she tells us that we should open separate ones so we get more percentage off coupons. Why would we want more than one credit card? The percentages off that we do get are more than adequate since we don't actually live in the Kohl's store like this woman apparently does. As I'm sure most other people do, we end up lying and saying we each have our own separate cards just to get her off our backs. We have made a game out of seeing if we can avoid being asked by her while we're there, but it's gotten to the point that even doing that it's still so irritating. So my friend and I entered Brazil, or the toddlers section looking for a 3t boys bathing suit. When we couldn't find any I saw Billy a sales associate walking by. "Excuse me can I ask you a question?" Billy continues to walk away from me, and starts screaming in his radio Rebecca. After a few minutes of that incestuous noise billy walked by again as I again asked for help he loudly stated he works in Italy (another department) not that one and he has to find Rebecca. I went to that store several times and have been disappointed each time. I walked around the entire store a few times to find something and couldn't find what I wanted. I noticed the lighting and the layout doesn't flow well and it really dampened my mood. I also noticed that they carry too many different adult brands, but I think less is more. I had a film scene to shoot at 6:00 in the morning. The night before, my hotel's iron stained the shirt I was to wear. The mall was closed but Kohl's was open. I was extremely tired and was having trouble with my shirt size. To tell you the truth, I was so tired I was having trouble finding some choices! Two female sales associates came to my rescue. The spent no small amount of time finding what I needed, insured my sleeve length was proper and kindly sent me on my way. I was pleased. Worst department store ever. This place used to be a Bradlees dept. store, along with the Kohl's in Burlington MA. before they went under. I would go to Bradlees at least once a week for something since they had it all, clothing, hardware, electronics, a music dept., food, all at great prices. This place is a joke. The men's clothing dept. is overpriced and not much in the way of variety, size and fashion wise. They only carry Hanes underwear items which I despise. Want a nice heavy duty flannel shirt? Don't have them, only those paper thin ones. Their coats and jackets are pathetic. They're marketed for white urban Justin Beibers, sports fanatics, and wannabe urban thug rappers. No hardware, scarce electronic items, no music dept., and they don't carry any food items. The last time I went in there was my last. Once again I walked out with nothing. Until they bring back Bradlees or Caldor's or Ames, the only reason I would ever drive into Kohl's parking lot again would to be make a quick U-Turn. read more

I gave 2 stars for ONE reason ...the clearance racks on my rare trips to Khols. The customer service in the Woburn location is horrific. Employees act like your bothering them when you ask a question and the ppl at the registers seem annoyed all the time and pricing is NEVER what is should be. My last experience on 1/9/18 the price at the register was not the price on the sale sign, when I questioned it the employee ringing me in rudely said " you should of checked the price at a price checker first".....REALLY??? I thought that was your job. I asked for a manager and was approached by a women who explained I read the sign wrong , ummm "buy 2 for $22.00" seems clear to me. The manager then proceeded to explain I didn't read the fine print and her words were " It's common sense, don't take offense Maam but if your read the small print you'd see it wasn't for this item. My grandmother wanted to go for Christmas gifts since she moved to the Woburn area it's super close to her new condo. Her car died and would not start when she was leaving the store at 9 o'clock AT NIGHT. She unfortunately left her cell phone at home and needed to use the stores phone. She called me a couple times because I wasn't answering I didn't know the number AND I was the only number she had written down and couldn't remember anyone else's because well it's 2017 everyone's number is in a cell phone now! THE MANAGER was so rude about it and said she was on the phone "too long" and to get her off the phone to an employee. When she finally left me a message saying it was her I called the store back and they said "oh yes her car won't start..." i said can you let her get on the phone can i talk to her and they said "well no she went outside...". So I drove all the way from Everett to woburn to help her. I'm just extremely disappointed. The manager was being an asshole to my grandmother. I hope no one treats the manager or any of their family members the way they treated my grandmother. read more

Last night, me and a friend went to the Medford Kohl's looking for toy for a baby boy. It was the Mega Bloks first builders dump truck. The store had one left but it was missing the bloks. We asked Customer Service if they would call another store to see if one of them had this item. We were told that the Woburn store had 5 of them. We drove to Woburn, went to the toy department and was unable to locate any of them. As we looked around for assistance, I saw a woman close by. I asked her if she worked there, and she replied "yes, do you need assistance?" Her name was Rita. We explained our situation. She said that she was not familiar with the toy department but was willing to assist us if she could. After not having any luck herself trying to find the truck, she said that she would be back as she wanted to get a ladder to check the upper shelves. Again, with no luck, she said that she had another idea and told us that she was going to look in back. A couple of minutes later, she came back with the truck. We were so thankful to Rita and expressed our thanks to her. After speaking with her for a couple of minutes, we realized that not only was she very helpful, but she was also a very friendly and warm person. We want to shout out a big "Kudos" to Rita and hope you let her know how wonderful she is. read more
