My quest for a suit/suit coat for a wedding took me from one end of the men's clothing spectrum to the other. My first stop at another store had me trying on a fantastic sports coat that I later realized was priced at $1,200. I politely excused myself and headed for the other end of the spectrum. The other end didn't work for me either. When I went to this Jos A Banks store to get my coat tailored I looked at the rack in my size and knew I needed to bring my fashion consultant (wife) back to take a look. Between yesterday and today we spent about 4 hours in the store updating my aged wardrobe. Several coats, shirts, ties, and slacks later I'm very satisfied. I was also lucky enough to drop into a sale and find several coats on clearance that fit perfectly. And I have to admit that were it not for the sale I would have probably stopped with the one coat, slacks and shirt and made it work with one of my old ties. Seldom does value and service come together at the perfect time. A special thanks to the staff that invested so much time in helping us put together several very versatile options.

Joseph Banks happened to be running a promotion of "buy one, get one free" pants, so I called my dad (who is the store's biggest fan) and he came running down to meet us and get a good deal. The employee that helped us grabbed my boyfriend's sports coat and started pairing it with different pants until he had found the optimum pair. Unfortunately, the slacks that looked stunning with the jacket were not "ready-to-wear," they needed to be hemmed. We asked if there was any chance they could be hemmed before the store closed that evening but the employee told us the tailor was leaving as we spoke. He stopped us and ran to the back and five minutes later returned and said "go put them on so we can measure, they'll be done in less than an hour." Great! 45 minutes later we were called back to the store and my dad and boyfriend went in on an order together and got two pairs of nice dress slacks for $50 each! Not a bad deal at all. Great service and great clothing, I bought a cool pink and navy striped tie for my boyfriend while we were there.

So, I made my way to Bird Brain Apparel at Liberty Center, and let me tell you--it did not disappoint. The vibe of the store is incredible, and Troy and Jason, the two guys working today, were some of the friendliest, most genuine people I've met in retail. They made the experience even better! Bird Brain has a killer selection of clothes and an insane sneaker collection--if you're into sneakers, you need to see this place. And, as a bonus, they buy sneakers off you, too! Because didn't know there was one in this area. The set up is women's on first floor. Upstairs so is men's and kids combine. It's connected to the mall. Everything is organized and not cluttered. Of course I had to take advantage of the sale rack. Ended up finding two sweaters for $13.99 and a pack of workout socks for $9.99. At checkout the cashier mentioned rewards program which is free. If you first sign up, you get 10% off your first purchase. Had to take advantage of that. Overall, I love H&M, good to know that I can shop at one even if I have to drive 40 minutes out of my way.

Ordered a bunch of stuff online for my daughter and none of it fit (not H&M's fault...I blame the 90's style clothing). Went to this location because it is the only one around. There is a sign on the door that says fitting rooms aren't open and we find out because they are staffed for it. It is back to school shopping time and you can't staff your fitting room? I returned my items (which were paid for using 2 gift cards and credit card). The girl told me it was all going back to my credit card which is never what happens when you use a credit card, so I went outside to call my credit card company and H&M. No credit back to my card pending (understandable) but H&M customer service told me the store told me the wrong thing and I was being emailed two e gift cards, plus credit card refund. So now I'm stuck buying clothes without the gift card that should have just been handed to me. We make our purchase and get to the car and bam, an e gift card back to my account. So now we are walking back in to make them refund and rering the items so we can use the gift cards and forever be done with this store.

Old Navy is conveniently located in the mall just across the street. I was in need of several pair of new pants specifically corduroy pants. Upon entering I walked to the rear of the store to get to the men's department. Back in the right corner was a clearance rack with pants on it. Corduroy pants! Behind that was the changing room. Also they actually had my size in several colors. I found and tried on a black and a gray pair. They fit which was great news! While in the back of the store I spoke to a friendly and helpful employee. He kept track of my pending purchase as I went to the men's bathroom. The sign said you can not take clothes in there. When I was ready to leave the same employee directed me to the moveable checkout counter on a rolling cart near the front of the store. I got 2 pair of pants for less than $12 each. In less than 2 minutes l was walking out to the mall again feeling very satisfied! If you find yourself at the mall at Liberty Center check out this store.
