Went to about five khol's lately. This is by far the longest lines and worst selection. Drive to Marin!

I like Kohl's in general, but I would like to comment on their $10 coupons. I wish they lasted longer although I kind of understand why they don't. The thing is, they used to honor expired $10 coupons but that practice has ceased. Bring back that option-please! Now on to something that might help others: We (hubby and me) just came back from Black Friday because we wanted to pick up the $7.99 advertised items; a waffle maker, crock pot, and a griddle. Imagine our surprise when we were told they were all rebate items as we were checking out. This after standing in line for a while. Yikes! Anyway, the sign upstairs had it written in small print and so did the actual ad, so that's our bad. Don't make it your bad. I definitely didn't being my A game on this shopping excursion. Went in here wednesday lady at register was very kind. We had a coupon for 30%off plus extra $5 off love all the coupons and the there clothes are all very nice and u save alot with the coupons!! Sometimes I dread coming here, other times I don't really mind. We all need new clothes from time to time and Vallejo has a poor selection. So unfortunately I'm stuck with this clothing store. If I'm going to go through a major shopping spree I will spend the extra time/money and head to Vacaville. But for small items I'll head here. This is a big store; it's two stories for christ sake. But the selection (for men) is deplorable. I am a size small and I will often find a shirt or sweater I love but they rarely have it in a small. This goes for jeans and pants as well. It is hard to find a small for men here. They have an excellent and expansive reduced sale section though. Often I can find something worth buying there (though it takes awhile to again find my size but is worth it). The staff is not friendly nor helpful. I'll give an example: I was shopping here during August and asked a representative if they had any sweaters for men (thinking there would probably be something on discount or on a newly arrived fall line). He stared at me for a few seconds, and gave me a huge attitude and basically told me off! Saying something like 'it's summer sir why do you think we would have any sweaters for you to buy?' So rude, so I stray away from associating with the staff here. The store is kept clean and tidy which is a plus though. read more

I came in here in a hurry with my little dog in tow. I needed some make up and wasn't really familiar with Khol's as I've never bought make up here before. Once there I was helped out by a really sweet girl that I'm sure has the patience of a saint. Between me being super indecisive and my dog running around (yes, I am that girl) this girl was a champ and I ended up leaving with some great Balm products that she helped me pick. read more

Wish I could say this is a great local business. Today I had a bizarre and very unpleasant experience while shopping. This is the kind of thing that you expect in some low end retail outlets where they employ creepy security men and women to shadow shoppers throughout their time there. But I didn't expect that every time you turned a corner a security person would be in your way. The worst of it is that one of the male security people actually strolled into the women's lingerie changing area and strolled out again as if this were the usual practice. When complaining to the manager, he jokingly said that their practice is actually pretty good "considering how other stores operate." When told that the security person was confronted and said he was going to clean the area the manager laughed again --- what do you expect, he said? Sorry, but this kind of thing doesn't work for me. Kohl's, you need to get a handle on what's going on in this store. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau. Post script: The checkout clerk at the counter was very friendly and cooperative during a busy time. read more

Security followed me all over this store and made me very uncomfortable. I really don't think I look like a thief but maybe I do. The manager Dom was very rude a week or so ago. They announced they were closing and I went up to make a purchase of about $300 and he informed me that the register had closed at 11:00 and it was now 11:01 and I could come back tomorrow. it seems to work for my wife and kids , they love those $10 kohl's cash coupons they get in the mail, but it also encourages them to spend , as for myself i get higher end clothing etc from ross or marshall's for less $ 2 stars. read more

poor shoe selection. no help or service anywhere. the store was kind of bare over all and the selection was boring. prices were OK, but Ross actually had bette prices and more shoes to pick from. read more

Not a bad place to get a deal for clothes. I must have got there during a busy time of the week because the selection was picked for what I was looking for. I couldn't find anyone in the department to help. Better luck next time. read more

Kohl's in Vallejo & Mike the appliance expert. I went to Kohl's last night to bring back an appliance (Cuisanart duet blender /food processor) that I purchase there in September. I had a cooking party at my house and the blender stopped mid-stream of the event and we had to use a neighbor's blender/food processor. I am not one to read reviews but most my friends do so I went on line and read reviews at kohl's regarding this blender and found a slew of customers experienced the same issue...the trend stating that the engine in made in China and doesn't hold up. I will now read reviews before purchasing...Hopefully Kohl's will take this product off their shelves; there are just too many of the same stories about this product on their website. My experience in bringing it back was something that I didn't expect. I didn't have the receipt. I just bought a new home and in the midst of remodeling, so finding the receipt would have been daunting. Customer service found the item and was willing to refund some money. I paid approximately $130.00 for the blender and customer service was going to give me $65.00. I was disappointed. Mike the appliance expert said that he would be willing to do an even exchange. He took me over to the appliance section and helped me select an appliance that would qualify. Mike gave me individual attention and used his expertise to help me. Once we found a product he made me feel good about my new purchase/exchange stating he bought the same one for his parents. I went home and read all the manuals and am excited about using my new appliance. Thank you Kohl's for hiring people like Mike to support the customer! Thank you Mike for going the extra mile for me. read more
