    I've come through the Ross as well as the Goodwill store in this complex and couldn't fathom why I haven't checked out this place before. So, after making stops at those two stores, I found my way up in here, curious if I can find any interesting buys. They were having a massive post-Christmas sale (their sign - see photo- does say BIG BIG BIG clearance event, MAJOR markdowns, MAJOR savings) and although I really wasn't in the market for anything, I was hoping to find some good bargain buys. Sadly, that wasn't the case here. Their clearance items weren't much of a clearance. I mean, how much of a bargain is $4.99 reduced to $4.00? And I found doggy treats regularly priced lower than its clearance price (see attached photos.) The one thing I'll give them, though, is providing hand sanitizers and gloves for shoppers. And people were mindful about social distancing, so that's cool. Otherwise, it was MEH. It really didn't feel like they had major markdowns or clearance items worthy buying. Curious no more.

    I bought nothing here when I came but it was a nice looking store. It was clean and they didn't have stuff all over the floor. I spent more time than I usually do walking around. There was a lot to see. It was also quite big. The only hiccup was the line. And my husband stood in it because he wanted to buy something and was convinced that our local store would not have this item. He's probably right. Also, it's possible that the filth of the store would have made him not want to go in or look around. So all in all, this wasn't a bad store.

It's not empty, but it's rarely packed, so finding a spot isn't a hassle. When you walk in, you'll usually notice security guards near the entrance, which I assume is due to theft in the area. Right away, you're also hit with a nice scent from the perfume section located near the front, it actually makes for a pleasant first impression. If you're there for Amazon returns, just know you'll need to head upstairs. There are signs letting you know that Amazon returns are on the second floor, and you can take the escalator up. Once you get there, there are additional signs directing you to the correct area, and the counter is clearly marked for Amazon returns only although you'll still see some people mistakenly trying to return Kohl's items there. The staff upstairs are usually friendly and helpful. One tip: make sure you already have your Amazon return code ready in the app before you get to the counter. It keeps the line moving and saves you from fumbling while others are waiting. After your return, they typically give you a coupon usually somewhere between 10% to 20% off your next Kohl's purchase, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this is my go-to spot for Amazon returns. I might occasionally browse for a quick gift or use the restroom, but it's definitely reliable and convenient for what I need.

I came to shop in store on a Saturday morning. It's definitely different when you shop for yourself rather than relying on their employees to shop for you. I probably should shop in person more often because you get to browse what's actually available and find what you need. I've been searching for specific items for a while and finally found bloom pop winter pomberry, and wide leg pants in my size (the pants were in disarray. I was patient enough to go through it) plus I found some clearance hidden gems. There is so much clearance, I love it. It was a great shopping day! I was also able to check out their party section, and their aisles are very organized. Good to know they still sell piñatas. Best times to go are early mornings, less crowds!

I went in on April 29th to purchase quite a few items and I typically go to self check out, but because I had so much, I decided to go into a lane. There was a Caucasian lady who was helping me and the conversation started off ok we got on the topic of Disney movies since I had a few Disney themed items for my kids. Then she very comfortably stated how much she didn't like the recent little mermaid movie due to her being black! I could not believe how comfortable she was saying this to me and in a manner in which she wanted me to agree with her. To say the least it not only made me uncomfortable but if you have such an opinion like THAT keep it to yourself. I'm an African American Irish American female and I was very upset. Fast forward to today I stupidly took my chances again to buy my kids swimsuits and I went to self check out and I also was purchasing a backpack. I asked the lady who was overseeing everything if she could take the sensor off and she very nastily and rudely told me after I pay for it. The whole time I'm scanning every item and paying with my hard earned money like I always do! As much money as I've spent at this particular this store over the years I will not be back. Wal mart employees should keep their racism and prejudice to themselves. It has no place in customer service.

Because I urgently needed to use the restroom, I continued shopping and went to check out. There was a long line of customers with only one cashier, so the wait was quite long. When I finally reached the register, I spoke with Elizabeth and asked if the restrooms were actually out of order. She kindly and politely confirmed that they were working and immediately helped me gain access to the restroom. I want to recognize Elizabeth for her professionalism and willingness to help. However, the earlier interaction was disappointing. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand how important customer experience and accurate communication are. A simple moment like this can make a big difference in how customers feel when visiting a store. Thank you to Elizabeth for turning the situation around with kindness and professionalism.

She dealt with the long ass lines with no complaining from her and from us waiting 20-30 minutes in line. So I deal with medical migraines and that heat was unbearable and I felt light headed the entire time I was there. I asked why the heater was so cranked up, she said that's how it is in every location. WTF, corporate you want your customers to pass out? Next time have more people working, and keep the temperature down and comfortable for everyone shopping and working there.
