The car salespeople were all very aggressive and tried to pressure me. I decided to check craigslist which is how I found The Scooter King. I am so glad I did. From the start, he did not pressure me at all. As I woman I appreciated and respected that. I test drove the car and I really liked it. From there he was happy to facetime my mechanic. This car was listed at $4200 and it is a nicer model by far then the ones I had looked at. My mechanic wanted to talk him down a little because the car is older. That is when he told us that was the walking price, and that he would mail me my pink slip (the pink slip arrived accordingly) AMAZING. The next day, I got the check ready but realized that I could not get to the shop to pick up my new car. I asked him if he could drop it off to me in Berkeley (he is located in Vallejo). He was happy to help. He was busy so his very sweet wife dropped it off for me. Great customer service. Literally going the extra miles. You can't beat that price! I had to try a few pairs to find the right ones, but I was able to find a good pair from Old Navy that was 100% cotton! The store has many drawers with a vast assortment of buttons, pins, earrings rings and other doodads that I wish I had more time to browse. Other customers were happily digging through the drawers and happy with their finds as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, welcoming and informed me that I could try in as many things as I liked in the curtained dressing room in the back. This was the only downside. The dressing room is a small storage room with a very little turn radius. I had to ask my husband to hold the curtain closed as I dressed and undressed because it did not close fully and I felt exposed. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want gently used, well priced clothing without breaking the bank.

Called on a holiday to get information on hats. Apparently the number gets routed to his cell…read morephone. After answering quick perfunctory questions about opening hours (which I wouldn't have to ask if the hours on Yelp were accurate or if he actually had a functioning website which listed the hours) and what the return policy was, he rudely said "who is this" as if I was an undercover agent or something? Then he said "I'm trying to enjoy this holiday with my family". I said "if you weren't available you didn't have to answer the phone, or you could have told me from the beginning when was a better time to call back". He said "well you just kept going on". The entire phone call was 2m24s! Okay dude don't answer the phone if you don't intend to help someone and answer their questions. Don't answer the phone when you're "with your family on the holiday" if you don't intend to actually help them. This guy has a reputation as a nice guy but actually he's rude. Rude "nice guys" are the worst. I guess I'll go to the Berkeley hat shop where at least I know they're rude. This Vallejo place is worse because I was fooled into thinking I'd get a nice guy!
