The car salespeople were all very aggressive and tried to pressure me. I decided to check craigslist which is how I found The Scooter King. I am so glad I did. From the start, he did not pressure me at all. As I woman I appreciated and respected that. I test drove the car and I really liked it. From there he was happy to facetime my mechanic. This car was listed at $4200 and it is a nicer model by far then the ones I had looked at. My mechanic wanted to talk him down a little because the car is older. That is when he told us that was the walking price, and that he would mail me my pink slip (the pink slip arrived accordingly) AMAZING. The next day, I got the check ready but realized that I could not get to the shop to pick up my new car. I asked him if he could drop it off to me in Berkeley (he is located in Vallejo). He was happy to help. He was busy so his very sweet wife dropped it off for me. Great customer service. Literally going the extra miles. Other customers were happily digging through the drawers and happy with their finds as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, welcoming and informed me that I could try in as many things as I liked in the curtained dressing room in the back. This was the only downside. The dressing room is a small storage room with a very little turn radius. I had to ask my husband to hold the curtain closed as I dressed and undressed because it did not close fully and I felt exposed. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want gently used, well priced clothing without breaking the bank.
