I focused on the kitchen section. I need a colander and some kind of reusable food storage bin. I…read morepreferred square/rectangular glass with locking tabs for the lid. And I needed just one. For food storage, Amazon prices are running $5 - $10 per item. Items I favored were about $10. There was appallingly low selection. The only way to get out of this price category is to buy a very large set where the price per item drops significantly. At Ross, there was a reasonable selection. They had created this by simply breaking up a larger set, tacking on a buck or two and selling them separately. That's just what I need! I got the rectangular glass container with plastic lid and locking tabs for $4.99. It was the same with the colanders, the cook pots, the bakeware; they'd broken up the sets and you could purchase just the size needed with a selection from different brands. I don't often see such great choices and I wonder if they are timing their drops for Tuesday when they target seniors.... I also checked out some curtain rods; prices were running from $7 to $20 but given the prices the rods were unusually good looking. Pity they didn't have the size I needed. At the register the cashier inquired delicately if I was eligible for the 10% Tuesdays senior discount. You're a senior if you're 55 or over. Nicely done! Thanks to this practice breaking up sets - I'm adding Ross' kitchen section to my great places to shop for small spaces collection.

This Ross is packed with junk, it's hard to get through the aisles or look through racks without clothes falling off broken hangers. Not all but most employees here are rude and don't get me started on the profiling.

Actual cowboy boots have been around since 1870, have a taller heel and pointed toe. Designed for use in stirrups, I've been wearing this type of boots for almost fifty years, so to go to (boot barn) and only find what I consider (undesirable) fashion boots was a disappointment. I went to Tracy to find standard cowboy boots-/

When I finally settled on a 300 dollar boot , I asked a sales person about the warranty and return policy and they responded that there was none but if I don't wear them and the tags are still on I can bring them back in 30 days.. wtf? No warranty on a 300 dollar pair of Danner boots. . Not true, as I looked it up when I got home... I was then told at last minute while paying that I could get their house brand boot that was under warranty for a year. I liked this so I found a similar Hawx boot that fit my needs. When went back up to pay , I asked a different cashier about the warranty policy.. she said that there wasn't one but would double check.. after asking someone In back, she said yes there was one but they were not to sure on what it covered.. I don't blame the people working here, they only know what they are trained to know. Management. And Boot barn uppers need to step it up ( no pun intended ) and train these kids so they know what they are selling. I hope to not be back anytime soon.
