Like a well-run spaceship instead of a retail battlefield. Then came the staff. One associate greeted me with warmth, humor, and real human energy. And then another--she knows who she is: black Coach frames her mom got her, movie-star gorgeous, and operating at a level of helpful that should honestly require a cape. She didn't just help me find products in-store, she tracked things down online too. Professional. Sharp. Kind. The kind of competence that makes you pause and go, "Wait... am I in a commercial?" At the register, more of the same: sweet, funny, welcoming. They somehow made me feel completely at home despite the fact that I looked like a bridge troll who had lost a mild argument with life. For context, I worked at MAC Cosmetics for six years. I know what one three-hour shift on your feet does to the human soul. Yet everyone here looked fresh, upbeat, and genuinely happy to be there. This might be the best-looking, best-attitude Ulta crew I've ever seen--and yes, that includes the security guard. This was easily one of my top three shopping experiences, ever. You don't get service like this anymore. I actually caught myself wondering what Ulta is paying these people, because with attitudes this good, they should be earning nine figures and a small parade. 10/10 across the board.
