I came here during a clearance sale and while I was happy with selection here my trip took a 180 when I got the register. I checked out with Lorena and had an awful experience, the very first thing she scanned was not on sale and while I told her that the signage on the item said it was but she just repeated several times that it wasn't and pointed turned around her screen to show me as if I didn't understand her the first time. I ran back and took a picture of the signs showing it was on sale and she just continued to be stone face about and said that it wasn't. I wasn't too attached to the shoes anyway so I just told her there's no way I'm buying that at the regular price. My wife had to purchase something things as well and every single item she scanned, she slammed down on the counter, was mumbling under her breath things I couldn't understand. I've always loved shopping at Kohls, but lately the kids girls section has been very disappointing - it was messy and under stocked. It has been this way the last 3 times I've visited this location, so it's definitely an issue they need to resolve. In addition, when using the fitting room, there was a strong smell of urine. This Kohls used to be great and I always walked out with good quality clothes and shoes at decent prices. These days, it take 3 different visits to find something I like, the clothing quality has significant gone down and their sales are less. I was excited to check out their Sephora collection because I needed a perfume but was again met with disappointment. They mostly had Be Delicious, a bunch of Jennifer Anniston perfumes, one or 2 Estée Lauder, 3 Calvin Kleins and a bunch of random cheap perfumes. Also, I had gone specifically to find a dressy outfit for my 18month old niece but couldn't find any so I just got some random outfits for her and left. Honestly, the only reason I'm even giving this 3 stars is because it's still good enough for me to keep going back. read more

Jason was so helpful in allowing me to use a 15% off coupon I'd gotten via text. He was so friendly & had a smile on his face the entire time I was in the store even when there were children crying and screaming--he didn't let it get him down or stop him from providing excellent service! This Kohls had a great clearance selection for shoes and even though I ended up with something other than a clearance pair, I was happy to find several shoes I was comfortable in for a reasonable price. I used to love Kohl's & would have given 5 stars. Credit Karma & Kohl's won't let me leave a review of my recent experiences. I am one who likes to pay off or make payments on my credit cards weeks in advance and sometimes a month in advance. Better to be ahead in case of unexpected expenses in the future bc....life. When Kohl's switched to the new Capital One credit card and in transition phase, it messed up my entire budget. Worst timing as it was back to school season. I made several payments towards the card after my purchase before I saw a due date like USUAL - because of the switch. A mess! With my Capital One credit card and other credit cards, I expected the payments to go towards the upcoming bill the next month. That did not happen. I even called to ask what was going on. They said I had to wait until the 21st or the 22nd to pay the next month's bill. Never experienced this before. I was told by whom I called, a supervisor would be informed and be in contact with me. Never did the supervisor contact me. Never was the issue resolved. I had also asked if I could at least get the next month's amount due payment refunded (I paid WAY more than what was due beforehand) so it didn't mess up my budget, and they said they "couldn't do that". This experience has made me not want to shop at Kohl's anymore. I shouldn't be punished or put in a financial predicament for being financially responsible and for starting to pay off my next bill before the 21st or 22nd the month before - dates that Kohl's gave to me of when I can pay next bill. Example- I just paid my bill for this month. I am able to pay off the next month, and if next month is a good month, I would pay the usual amount due anyway to stay ahead. I can't do that with this card. Very very angry. *Need to say- I love my sole Capital One credit card and have had no problems at all, like with the new Kohl's Capital One credit card. read more

OH HELL NO! Despite my less than encouraging previous experience in 2010, I went back for more punishment after work last Thursday. Again, the item was a piece of cookware, one that I had seen on their website. I hadn't checked to see if it was available in-store as open stock. It wasn't, but it was on display as part of a set, so at least I got to inspect the item. Luckily, there was another similar piece I also had interest in that was available as open-stock, but the price posted was 100% more than I had verified was the "manufacturer's suggested retail price". Yes, twice as much. I wanted to see if Kohl's would match the MSRP, but I couldn't find any associate in the department to ask. I went to the customer service desk, only to find the lone associate trying to convince a customer why they should get less money on a returned item than they originally paid for it. Since that wasn't a good omen, I left the store anticipating the reaction I would get to my question. Once home, I went online to Kohl's website to ask customer service for a price match. I received a reply Friday indicating they did not understand my question and asking me to call for further assistance. I placed that call Saturday morning. What ensued was nearly 35 minutes of sheer torture. The customer service representative's skills were abysmal. There were frequent 4-5 minute intervals of silence. He ultimately made a competitive offer for the item, but he left me so frustrated that I eventually told him that I would not buy the item from Kohl's even if he offered it to me for free. After more pleading from the CSR to buy, we had to have the conversation about the meaning of "NO". Still, he did not relent. Eventually, I hung up as he refused to release the call to the survey no less than 10 times. In summary: - Customers should be aware that Kohl's regular prices can be double MSRP; - There is no customer service available in-store, only customer neglect/abuse; - The same markups (which I consider price gouging) exist on Kohl's website; - There is no reasonable customer service available from the corporate office. In summary, Kohl's is the place to shop for people who are bad at managing their money, don't know how to comparison shop, and who enjoy pathetic customer service. They've lost my business forever, and not just at this one location. read more

Absolutely had to drop in for a picture of an item with my wife holding it. Full credit goes to Ron U. who had brought it to my attention. My lovely Lady, who is a good sport held it up while I snapped photos and customers stared. Afterwards, she was looking for shoes made by Clark and could find none. She went up front and asked someone who did not have a clue and used her walkie talkie to no avail. Taking a comedy bit from Impractical Jokers, I started running though the store shouting "LARRY" (also my name but I digress). As we left I said to the person at the front "I forgot, Larry is off on Tuesday" right from the scripts. I was there to return an online order and Linda, the associate who helped me, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond and was extremely resourceful in figuring out how to return an item that was shipped without the proper barcode. These days, most of my experience with customer service representatives involves them pretty much saying "oh well, that's all I can do" and leave you with an unsolved problem and a bad taste in your mouth for the company. No matter what time of day, opening, mid morning or afternoon...weekday or weekend, the rooms are always full of clothes. Nobody is ever working to put clothes back on racks. If I could give this store a 0, I would. Customer Service is non-existent at this store. I tried to exchange a pair of pants I had bought on line. Customer Service explained about their exchange, same item for same item policy. Came back after spending an awful lot of time finding the same ticket price and brand for the same item, as I was told I needed to do to exchange the size of the item; only to be told I would have to pay about $35 more for a simple pair of kids pants. Waste of time. Waste of money. Just go to another clothing store. Time is worth money and customer service is worth gold. I have not shopped at Kohl's since about a year ago. They can't even change the address in the shit that hasn't shipped yet. Not to mention I think it's dumb you can't use kohl's gift cards towards your charge balance. Kohl's is surprisingly amazing. They have a great selection of cocktail dresses, sun dresses, cute tops, work clothing...and it's all on sale. The staff all seemed happy, which was really refreshing for a chain retail store. It still has the downsides to a department store, though, like unmanned dressing rooms and separate sections (juniors, designer labels, etc.) with their own displays that make it difficult to just find, for example, a bunch of different tank tops or a bunch of different dresses. I will definitely keep Kohl's in mind when I need a dress to wear to a wedding or need cute new work clothes. read more

The cashiers have been nice and friendly to me every time I have come here. One thing I have observed over the years is Kohl's pricing. There is always well lit and ample parking which I am thankful for. They stay open super late for Christmas so if need be you can somehow sneak out and go there. I absolutely love the jewelry. Any of it. It ranges from 3 dollars all the way up but it is such home run jewelry. They had Oral B Vitality toothbrushes on sale this week for like 3 dollars less than WAL MART which I have never seen happen! The sweaters are nice! It does take patience to shop at these kinds of dept. stores but if you are looking for something pretty basic and can remember what you went there for, you will find it! The purses they have never wow me but they have gotten better and when they have a sale it is awesome! When you go online right now, you will get a sale price that seems really low but then when you go to checkout it will be even lower, especially on the jewelry because there is additional savings now through Christmas! I contacted you as soon as I realized there was a problem. The clothes are being shipped to my old employer. Please contact your IT dept and make sure this function is working. The items are being shipped to a business in Columbus, OH that is closed on Saturday." My billing address is AUSTIN, TX. My shipping address SHOULD BE Austin, Tx. I did contact the shipper. They did not yet have any packages and asked me to contact you for a new shipping label. I contacted Kohl's customer service and was told you could not intecept or change A LABEL I contacted FED EX a second time. Because of the choice of shipping, I cannot reroute the package. USPS does the final delivery. They do not have record yet of the package. On 1/11/18, a second shipment went out again to the incorrect address. Kohl's seems to go through phases of having tons of really great stuff and having nothing I find appealing. I was in here a few months ago and they had several great dresses to choose from. I went back in here the other night looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and it was a bust. But, I did make it out of there with some black tights for $5! However, I do have to say I am a big fan of the new Vera Wang line. Hopefully, this means they are following in Target's footsteps and will be bringing in more designers. Another thing I like about Kohl's, is that it is a great place to get small appliances. I got a pretty nice vacuum here that was marked down from $200. With all the discounts and coupons I only paid $100!!! I've never had a brand new vacuum before this one. So exciting. read more

I like Kohl's because you can get some really good deals on some really cute stuff. Love the Lauren Conrad line, and have been recently impressed with the Jennifer Lopez line, too. They also have Keurig coffee, and a lot of their household items are normally marked down a good % of the original prices. I've gotten some great blouses here, and some nice things for the guy, too. I never find a purse or a good bra though, unless I get lucky that day. To be fair, I'm picky about both. Sometimes the Vera Wang's are cute + worth the $, and sometimes they are one or the other. I do like the new JLO bags. Got a nice Relic watch for $50 (company owned by Fossil, so Fossil style for less money). Additionally, employees seem friendly and don't hassle you like at other places (Coach outlets are the worst to date, I think), and they don't hassle you over returns, either. read more

Definitely a well-worth it pleasant experience. You will find just about anything in this huge store. First off, there is a ample parking and the location off of the 290 access road and Brodie is really convienent considering the array of shops in the area. We have shopped here several times for a wide array of items, but here are some of the highlights of our excursions: -We picked up some Oneida flatware for something like $35 for a 4 place setting. After comparing it to other stores, we couldn't pass it up. -They have a great selection of Fiestaware at great prices. -Their appliances are pretty competitive with other retailers, so don't be expecting something lower for a KitchenAide mixer. -We've found some apparel for a hard-to-please skinny man and this larger sized woman. However, it will depend on the season as to if they'll have something of value to us in stock. Some days I'll go in and find a super cute almost retro style top or dress- but then about three months later, I'll find the most drab kind of grandma-esque clothing. -They have a great home decor area with plenty of items that'll help your spruce up that bathroom or bedroom area. -We've also picked up luggage for a great price here. It was a 5 piece set for something like $120- which isn't terrible for that kind of set. Since we travel a lot, this was particularly a great deal. The selection is wide and the prices are low to average depending on what you're looking for. The staff kind of keep to themselves, but are friendly when you do talk with them. Definitely worth visiting if you're looking for just about anything for you or your house to wear. read more

She was a little pushy with trying to get me to sign up for a credit card, which I did not sign up for because I don't need another credit card. She made conversation with you as you check out and had just a great personality. Moderately busy, but can always find parking up close for the most park. This was an amazing find. I'm not the best with makeup, and when I walked into the beauty section, I felt a little overwhelmed. There were two women working in that section and they immediately came to help. I told them I didn't know how to apply makeup and sake for some tips. The ladies ended up doing a complete face for me to show me how to apply different makeup and how to create different affects with it. They were so wonderful and sweet. read more

This is my favorite store shop for work clothes and exercise attire. If your an awards member you can use your wallet in your app to easily find coupons and your Khol's cash. I always raid the clearance rack to find amazing deals year round. The staff are always friendly and I never have to wait for a dressing room. Kohl's can be very hit or miss. I haven't had much luck at Kohl's, but I've known people who love Kohl's and practically only shop at Kohl's. After not stepping foot in a Kohl's for probably a couple years, I came to this one during a random shopping fest. And I scored quite a few cute tops and skirts. So I was encouraged after such a fruitful shopping trip. However, when I returned a while later, I had very little success. Boo. Pros: + Sort of a department store feel (large, lots of stuff including housewares) without having to deal with the mall + ample parking + there is ALWAYS a sale of some sort going on. Unless you really can't live without an item, go back in a week or two and it will be 30 - 50% off. I swear -- it seems half the store is always at least 30% off. Which makes me wonder why I should ever pay full price for something there. I guess if you need something right away. + lots and lots of accessories! purses, sunglasses and jewelry galore! not always great ones, but a lot to look through. Cons: - Clearance racks are a mess. I love shopping sale/clearance racks but it is near impossible here. Not organized by style, size, anything as far as I can tell. You've got to hunt for it. And the racks are soooooo crammed, it's impossible to really flip through them. - Dressing rooms are always a mess. Kohl's nicely puts racks outside the dressing rooms but they are always overflowing so people always leave the hooks in the dressing rooms over flowing as well. a big BOO to that! - Shoe selection is disappointing. And a mess. The few times I have found semi-cute shoes there, trying to find the boxes that go with the display shoe is impossible. I still have some encouragement from my one fortuitous trip, but really, I doubt I will go back to Kohl's soon or even that often. If I'm in a crazy shopping mood, I'll probably stop by -- mostly because it's easy to get in and out of which is its biggest plus. My daughter is 10 and they had nothing for her age group. They had the juniors section which is a tad too mature for her and they had the section for little girls. They signs say this is for her age group but It seemed everything was for 6 and under. Whenever I think of kohl's I think of a low priced department store, it seem though that prices are really high now. I do not shop here often but every time I end up paying at least half of what the price tag reads The first time I shopped here was for a pillow. After picking out the most comfy pillow I went to the check out and they told me to go get another one because they were buy one get one free. And my now favorite bra that was not marked down or on a sale rack rang up 18.00 instead of 36.00! Today, I stopped in and got 3 super cute shorts for under 33.00. I walked in looking for some mid thigh shorts for work, since my Boss told my short shorts were adorable but TOO short for work. I found 2 pair of plaid shorts for work that were marked down to 9.00 from 34.00. And, a pair of super cute and super short plaid patch work shorts that I expected to pay full price for; but, rang up 11.99 instead of 36.00. And, I pionted out that one of the 9.00 shorts was missing a button so she took 10% off. Walking in I certainly did not expect to walk out with such a cute pair of shorts for 8.10 (that happened to have a plastic pouch with an extra button to replace the missing one). This is a great Kohl's. The selection of clothing, household items, etc, etc is awesome. I feel like the staff keeps everything very well organized, even during the holiday craze. My only complaint would be that the dressing rooms go unattended quite frequently. It has gotten better in recent months but occasionally you'll go in to one and there is no room on the rack outside of the rooms to put back things you don't want so everyone leaves the clothes in the rooms. As that builds up you find you have nowhere to hang the clothes up that you want to try on! Other than that, love this location. read more

Can we get 10 stars???? So I LOVE Kohls because they practically give stuff away.. I went today because I had a rewards certificate and a free 10 dollar cash thing.. So 20 bucks of free money. Right now they have their candles and everything on sale.... So I got 44 dollars worth of candles for $2.13!!!!!! Crazy! This location is great because its 10 min down the road and always been reliable.The clearance selection is great.. The back to school backpack sale was awesome... Got me a backpack for college for 5.00 bucks (Thank you Khols cash!) and over all I always find something awesome.
