I prefer to shop Old Navy online but dropped by on a Sunday late afternoon with friends. The store was clean and organized considering folks are flocking to stores to get their holiday shopping done. Staff was friendly when we had some questions. I was very pleased to find my size in the rockstar skinny jeans (6/short) so I grabbed two color washes along with Christmas jammies. The online price was $26 and the in store price was $30. I appreciated that the employee at the register price matched the online price for me and then took off the additional promo discount. It was difficult picking up my online order. I brought my email and the animosity and demeaning behavior of likely the manager was underwhelming and frustrating. For everyone who is interested in placing orders, this location requires the email AND a government issued ID. That's more than what you need to cast a vote in this country! Old Navy has all the basics you need in clothing for the entire family and this Sunset location always has my size and the deals I get from email and texts. It has always been a pleasurable and easy experience for me every time I come either shop in person or grab my online order via curbside. I appreciate the ease of grabbing my curbside order with the 3 dedicated parking spots located at the front of the store. On the rare occasion there might a squatter shopper in the parking spot not waiting for a pickup but that is okay there are 2 other spots to take. The communication (texts and emails) received on my order is super appreciated and timely. I usually get an immediate email, after placing my order, with a status update and texts along the way on when it is best to come grab my items. This location usually has a great clearance section located behind the dressing rooms. I always end up walking away with items on sale on top of whatever deal I came in for. Never been a fan of Old Navy since it's inception. I really do not understand what the big deal is. Why was I in here? It was an errand of my older sister's and to get to the other errands of the evening my son and myself and to be subjected to this. There is nothing special or unique about their clothes - I can find comparable things for MUCH LESS at Ross, Khol's, TJ Maxx, Target and Walmart - except their prices. They are ridiculous. This location was a madhouse of disorganisation. Clearance racks of mis-matched stuff everywhere. Folded items were just left in piles - and I DO NOT blame the employees. No one could keep up with the insanity of the patrons. One woman thought it a good idea to bring her entire family and by that I mean I think they were having a family reunion in the store and at one point the younger children were kicking a ball under several racks of clothing and not caring {of course NO ONE of parental authority disciplining them either} what or who they kicked or what merchandise they knocked to the floor. It was game on! The second star is for the Spongebob and Star Wars Mad Libs at the register - which were also INSANELY priced at $4 a book but I haven't had Mad Libs since I was a kid so I bought them anyway. read more

The store was clean and organized on a Saturday afternoon. The employees were friendly. The bathroom was dirty and no toilet paper in any of the stalls. The ck. out line moved fast. The online ordering makes a-lot of mistakes and the service agents dont fix the problems or speak where you can understand them. It takes ten days to get your order. This was a terrible shopping experience! Their system crashed in the middle of my transaction and it declined my card but the transaction went through to my AMEX. The sales clerk called the General Manager for help but she responded to the clerk that the card just declined. I went and called my bank and checked the transition and there was nothing wrong on my side. They did not come and check out anything and apologize or offer to do anything else to help with the transaction. I went in today and within minutes of entering the store I was told I had to leave because they were doing inventory and that the store was closed. When I questioned why the door was open if they were officially closed I was told I needed to leave. I went to look for my son who also came in to the store and was followed like a criminal and told to leave right away. I will never come back to not only this store but also any Old Navy again. The loose definition of insanity is doing something over and over, each time expecting a different response or reaction. This is my relationship with Old Navy. It's close to my house, and not at the mall, so I drop in when I'm looking for something last-minute. But everything is always not quite the right shade, and the jeans fit great in the store, but awkwardly after one wash. Or they don't have my size. Or they haven't switched out the merchandise in like three weeks. Etc, ETC! And in my frustration, I'm usually bombarded with "Are you lookin' for anything in particular?!" in my face, as I'm trying to browse. I walked in last week needing a plain, white t-shirt for a last minute Halloween costume idea. No employees to be found. No short-sleeve t-shirts to be found. So I find the only employee in the women's half of the store, who is FOLDING T-SHIRTS, and I ask, "Do you have any short-sleeve, plain t-shirts?" She looks up at me and says, "Um, I think there's some down there," pointing to a tiny, small stack of Ts. She doesn't help me find a size, goes back to her folding and watches me move to the next clothing section, where I find the fucking white t-shirts, in a glorious, bountiful rage of sizes and colors. As I'm selecting my size, said lazy employee walks past me, avoiding eye contact. REALLY? The one time I actually need help, Old Navy doesn't want to offer it. Oh, the irony. read more

Sometimes, strange things happen in a woman's life. For example, you go in search of a pair of lightweight pants to wear this summer. You have a plan involving sand and pelicans and shells and salty smells. You do not wish to spend a ton of money on such pants, as you know by the end of the summer they will have been blessed by lemonade and icees and coffee drinks and grass stains and shrimp cocktails and dog paws and so forth. While you think the summer looks in the silly catalogs that come to your doorstep are nice in theory, you notice that the models keep such outfits looking good by standing very, very still in front of boating marinas. This is not really your idea of a good time. So you go to this place called Old Navy. You have not been to this place called Old Navy, but the maritime reference is reassuring. You quickly discover that the colors of Old Navy do not really involve much navy, but rather black, brown, and khaki. You take your size and one down to the dressing room. Then you take the next size down. Then the next. Even though you have heard about vanity sizing this situation appears to be much closer to an unfortunate medical condition. You wonder if maybe your doctor was just trying to spare you when he said you were healthy. Maybe you are wasting away from an untreatable malady and he did not want to tell you. He is a nice man, your doctor. Perhaps he wanted you to live the rest of your prematurely short life in peace. At the beach. You do, however, leave with the one pair of pants for $12. read more

I stopped in here with a friend the other evening because she had heard they were have a sale where everything was 75% off. I used to shop at old navy all the time, but over the past 4-5 years I rarely go there. I am not sure I have even been in there in the past 2 years. The store was picked over a bit from the holiday season as it was 2 days after Christmas. That is normal for most stores especially Old Navy. Nothing really spoke to me as I was browsing through the store. I think maybe my taste has changed and I have grown out of old navy. I still think it is a great store. So normally I go to Old Navy only when I have an actual gift card or need something specific. This location is a typical Old Navy and a little un organized. Yes right now a lot of their clothing is over 50% off and so the clothing is just everywhere... but it does look cheaper then normal. The pricing of clothes is more expensive then Old Navy should EVER be. $34.00 bucks for a shirt w/ Old Navy just hilarious too me. I can go to Nordstrom Rack and get a Top Shop or Michael Kors shirt for less than that price. .. but as I knit pick.. The customer service is always nice and they are around if you need them. The fitting rooms are clean and a good size to try things on in. This location isn't really overly busy when I go. I have been there everyday of the week.. read more

First time I've been to this location and I won't be back. I went in to look for jeans and I couldn't find my size. It took me about 15 minutes to find an employee (they don't wear nametags so I had to scan them for their headgear) and when I did the woman who 'helped' me was very rude. I asked her if they carried petites and she said not in the store. They carry them in the store in the mall...strange. So I asked her if she could help me order what I needed online. She proceeded to look at me for about 5 seconds, and then she just walked away. Literally registered the question and then walked away from me as if I hadn't asked for her help. Okay, this is weird and I don't even know if I can blame Old Navy, but this is what happened. I needed shorts for Summer and, while I don't like to support the big chain stores if I can shop locally, Old Navy and The Gap usually have shorts and pants that actually fit me and sometimes they're a necessity. This visit was no different. I tried on a dozen items and I bought some linen and jean shorts for a song. I did what I always do with brand new clothes, I wore the jean shorts right away without washing them. Let me tell you Austin is HOT these days! I wore those shorts all sweaty day long, and that day included a walk. Later I discovered red spots here and there, only where the shorts could touch, especially behind the knee where the cuffs are. It was definitely the shorts, and strange since I'm normally not sensitive. Anyway, watch out if you're buying new clothes and wash them, maybe especially cotton (or denim) because that crop is sprayed with pesticides more than any other crop. Despite this incident I'm giving Old Navy three stars because they make shorts that fit my butt and they're dirt cheap. read more

I can safely say I am a fan of Old Navy. I live in t-shirts, cargo shorts, and sandals for easily 8 months out of the year... and guess what Old Navy specializes in T-Shirts and Cargo Shorts!!!! Unfortunately I am not a flip flop guy or I could buy my entire wardrobe here. They are not the highest quality t-shirts but at 5-10 bucks a pop I wear them until they die and then I go replace them. They constantly have sales and coupons to make a cheap store cheaper which is cool. Now that being said the shorts and jeans are a good quality and can last for quite awhile when well maintained. I have had jeans from here that have outlasted pairs that were 3 times the price. As far as this particular store goes, the people are always friendly and at least 2 people ask if they can help me per trip. This can be good because they love to move things around a lot here but I guess that is to keep the store looking fresh and keep the shopper perusing more. Keep up the good work Old Navy and I will continue to shop here until something forces me to grow up and stop dressing like a slacker. read more

1 star for the selection and the organization. The lines today were extremely long and there were only 2 cashiers.... okay thats fine. But what really brought this rating down was the customer service, in particular the cashier with blonde highlights and glasses --- she was incredibly rude!! In comparison with the other cashier, she was all around just looking to make everyone's day worse. I had 30 dollars worth of super cash and it was clear I was going to use all of the super cash today since I purposely bought $75 worth of clothing and also because I laid the $30 super cash on the table BEFORE I 1) told her hello and asked her how her day was and 2) she started scanning the items. She didn't bother to have any manners and ask of the customers she had before how their day was or even smile.... I mean heck she didn't even ask me. She also took twice or three times as long to check people out compared to the other woman working cashier. The other cashier would ask if customers had super cash and SMILE. It was obvious who didn't want to be there today. Once she finished scanning my items up to $80 dollars.. she goes "uh. You can only use one super cash coupon per transaction." Well couldn't she problem solve and just use two transactions? Hmm...... So I asked her. I ended up paying $10 dollars more than I should have because she couldn't help me out and try to help me spend the least amount of money I needed to... and since I already did the math and I should have had enough items for two transactions (if needed) to fulfill both coupons. If I ever see her in the front as cashier, you bet I'm leaving and going to the Old Navy at the mall or even the domain. This experience was 10/10 one of the worst customer service I've ever had, especially for old navy. I've gone to this location for years. Gosh, just when you thought this woman couldn't be any worse. I just looked into my old navy bag and yay, all my clothes were dumped into the bag with the hangers. I love wrinkled clothes!!!!! read more

Clothes are fairly cheap, and usually get holes pretty quick but they can be cute! The store is so full it's hard to shop without things falling off the racks.. ultimately we keep coming back bc we do get some occasional good finds. they have some soft cozy socks too, which the whole family loves. read more

I hadn't been to an Old Navy in years and I saw they were having a sale up to 75% on everything in the store. Either their quality has gone down or I just have better taste than I used to. This store is usually very clean and the staff is very nice. I do however think it is BS that they do not honor veteran's discounts every day of the week. They only do the veteran thing on MONDAYS. That is crap. While I was checking out the couple next to me asked if they could use their Veterans Discount card today and they were told no. This is no reflection of the staff, as they were very polite, it is a reflection of Old Navy policies and procedures. So today I went shopping at Old Navy. I was next in line and a girl with a mobile check out device scanned everything I had and that's where the trouble began. She couldn't get the device to let me sign after scanning my card. Then she clicked the next button only to not be able to print or email my receipt. I wanted my receipt just in case something needed to be returned. Nobody in the store, not even the 2 managers working, knew how to find my receipt. I waited and waited and finally one of the mangers walks out of the office scans the printer and hands me the receipt. I look at the receipt and it's for $17 much less than I spend. I told her this was still not my receipt because this was not the correct total then on a rude tone she scolded me and said "You said you paid $35!" Well even if I did pay $35 this still wouldn't be my receipt. Needless to say I left with the number to corporate because after all the time in the phone, her scanning the printer handing me a receipt that wasn't mine all of a sudden she says corporate told her it was impossible to find a receipt from a mobile device transaction. Basically, by her actions she jut wanted me out of the store. And by the way training new cashiers on a Saturday afternoon is not the appropriate time to train. FYI read more

They wouldn't let me return them without the receipt even though the items I wanted were similar pants and more expensive. Ok depending on what you are looking for. They have lots of casual summer clothes right now like shorts and tshirts. Store was somewhat messy in that items were not folded on shelves and not one single staff greeted me or asked if I needed help the whole time I was in the store. But school is now out for the summer so there were lots of kids in there ( which may explain some of the may shelves) and it was sorta loud. May try to shop again another time. read more
