I love this kohls! It's so clean & everyone is so friendly & helpful! We walked in & noticed how big it was. Everything was neatly organized & everything was sufficiently stocked with the correct prices correlated with the products. The checkout was fast and easy once we figured out what we wanted. We got an electric blanket (originally $160) & it was 50% off so we got it for $80. I used the kohls cash ($35) from a previous purchase & my bf only paid $38!!! It was a pretty good deal. There were so many awesome kitchen appliances that they would have everything we would need for a home. I will definitely be back!! read more

I don't know why people have to hate on Kohl's so much! Yes, some of the things are pretty b*tt ugly, but if you sort through stuff, you'll find some good deals on basic items! There is always a huge clearance area with lots of really good prices. On several occasions I've let inquiring minds know that the cute sweater I'm wearing? It's from...*gasp*...Kohl's!!! Only down side to this Kohl's is the lack of staff on the floors. While I was walking by the dressing room, some poor woman was calling out to see if I was an attendent from her dressing room. This the Kmart for people who think they are too good to shop at Kmart. I am too good to shop at Kmart AND Kohl's. Put together. There, I said it. This place is a sea of polyester, pleather, fake leather, cheap jewelery, and I do not swim in waters of this nature. The one thing this place might be good for is housewares- like cooking stuff, kitchen items, and things that you'd find at Macy's but marked up a whole bunch. Did I mention that you'll pay what ammounts to an arm and a leg in relation to the low quality of the crap they're peddling? They do have a lot of items on their clearance racks, which run the gammut from granny jeans to itchy acrylic sweaters which at 80% off are still priced at twice as much as they're worth. You couldn't pay me to wear their clothes. Like I said- the cookware, drinkware, and kitchen accessories were all on sale of some sort on my recent visit** and I LOVE their cute little buggies (shopping carts for those of you not from the South, where I first discovered Kohl's). **I was only at this store because the wait at the Kaiser pharmacy nearby was longer than the second coming of christ and I'd rather throw money at the problem than sit around waiting for meds with a bunch of people waiting for their crazy pills. read more

Poor Kohl's. That is what my husband and I always think when we drive by. It did very well when it first opened but now, the parking lot (especially at night), is quite empty. I'm still giving it 3 stars because of the huge parking lot! You can always get a space nearby the entrance. Every time I've shopped at Kohl's there's a sale. Stuff is always on sale. You can find some really good deals. Lots of clearance items too. The store is clean, not crowded, and usually no lines. It's not my favorite store to shop at but yesterday I got a cute shirt for $5! Love this kohls!!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, morning management is awesome. My sister and I recently came on a random shopping spree only to find out at checkout that her kohls cash was expired. Over hearing the cashier tell us we couldn't use it because it had recently expired, the morning manager came over and approved the value of the kohls cash. Almost scolding the employee (kindly) for not asking for approval before denying us. If that's not customer service than I don't know what is, a happy customer is a frequent one. Wow, nothing says suburbia like Kohl's. Even when I lived in Texas I never came here fearing that I'd only find a selection of jean vests and capri pants, i.e. the soccer mom uniform. However, the Simply Vera collection lured me in. One of the newest members of the "Design for the masses" trend, the Vera Wang collection (as well as other Kohl's partnerships such as FoodNetwork pots n pans) separates itself just barely from the other Mervyns of teh world. I guess the strategy worked. Whereas I never even knew what kind of store Kohl's was, I now find myself returning from time to time out of curiousity. The accessories collection is surprisingly decent. As is their selection of perfumes and makeup. As for the Vera Wang stuff--while I'm always interested and intrigued by the ads I see in magazines and television, I would only purchase it if it were on sale. If Kohl's target audience is, in fact, a mid-to-late 30s soccer mom, then I can totally see her going gaga over this line. It's a bit 'edgy' without being overly so, and a bit dowdy without being too Walmart. The fit of the clothes is a bit bizarre as well. The size small is actually rather baggy, and I'm a size S-M. Regardless, I'll admit, I've bought a few things there--a funnel necked black rain poncho, and a beige grandpa sweater. There are some strappy chunky-heeled sandals that i tried on and actually really liked, but I will wait for them to go on sale. read more

Compared to other Kohls', this place was more organized than I thought it would be. I am used to half the clothing merchandise being on the floor to sift through. Not here. this place is pretty good when I need to get certain stuff but am low on funds. They usually have good sales on a lot of items. I like their bedding section (gotten some really good pillows here) and they get props for a good bra selection. I'm not crazy about their women's clothing though-either I dress like a gossip girl reject or my grandmother with no choice in between. I've found some cute shirts for my boyfriend here so the men's isn't bad. Never have to fight the crowds and the staff is usually nice. read more

A strange store. It has a very depressing atmosphere inside. It appears that they save money by either dimming the overhead lights or only turning on half the overhead lights, so the store is very dark. This store appears to be basically self-service, since I could not find any sales people on the floor. The only employees I saw were at the check-out registers. The clothes: racks and racks of stuff on sale, all cheap Chinese-made stuff, not very attractive, and a strange assortment of sizes: lots of XS, S, very few M, some L, some XL. It looks like a garage sale in there. But, they had the item I wanted from the housewares section, the check-out line was short (mainly due to a lack of customers :-0), and the check-out clerk was pleasant. read more

I went back a week later to buy more kitchen stuff. This time I also got a very nice and friendly cashier. Love the line system at this Kohl's -- nice one line to feed into the various open Kohls! I went to Kohls for the first time today & I loved it. They got some cool clothes and shoes for cheap prices. I got some nice heels for $20 & they were comfortable. My friend (a guy) bought a few pairs of Levi's jeans for $30 - which is cheaper than their regular price. ($35-45). The cashier was very friendly & appeared very happy - which is rare to see in retail. She even gave us the "friends & family" discount, even tho we just met here. I think her service just topped off our day at Kohls. I'll be back there next week. read more

I frequent this Kohls quite a bit! Always deals and easy to shop here. Today just ticked me off a bit as my cashier "Ross" or "Russ" who knows......was just downright snotty! I was taking the hangers off my clothing items to help him out and he just wasn't having that! Said...."oh I have to do the hangers thank you"! Really? Didn't know there was some secret law about hangers. I was only trying to help. I will just be avoiding this cashier from now on. Maybe it was a bad day for him. So this may be another woman's oriented store but it does have some great bargains using the discount coupon, Kohl's bucks and looking for the sales. As a guy, the prices are very good when the final price meets all three criteria above. I shop there with the wife and prepare myself for the "I'll be just a moment" decree, bringing my iPod along. The variety and selection is definitely there. Went to buy pants and slacks for work. Dress slacks went from $90 retail (who in their right mind ever buys retail), then sale prince of $49, then another 30% off, coming out to $34. Then there is the kitchen and cookware section. Good finds there but have to wait for a sale on the coffee maker. Probably will go to Target for that. So the Kohl's is something like a refurbished Mervyn's. Customer service is good and I've shopped when it was really crowded. The checkout line seems long but goes relatively fast. For a clothing store, it's a happier place then the old Mervyn's. Right now it has a nicer layout and I always wait for the sales. Not the man cave, but a good place to find good clothing at a decent price. Still have to wait for the sales. The "I'll be just a moment" translates to at least 30 more minutes, so guys be prepared. At least it's not the dungeon like Burlington. read more

I love this store. Their choice in clothes is much more desirable than that of any of the other department stores in the area like JC Penney, Sears or Mervyn's. Their prices may seem a bit high but they are almost always having a sale and they have an incredible selection of shoes and jeans. They also have incredible sales on their jewelry.. you can get a quality Relic watch for $30 if you keep your eyes open. I always manage to find something I like here... Their dressing rooms are a bit sloppy sometimes and you shouldn't be shy to just walk right on in 'cause I have never seen anybody greet you at the door to give you your numbered plastic tag. Their store is kept relatively neat with the occasional shirt or pant found in the wrong spot. There's always parking and they're open late, too, so, if you need some last minute stuff (or gifts), this is the place to go. The only thing that I'm not too crazy about is how the employees there are always on your tail about getting a Kohl's Charge Card. It gets irritating quickly... especially if you go there as often as I do. read more

First of all, Kohls overall has great sales. I love their Kohls Bucks and how EASY it is to spend it (no hassle). Today I had to return/exchange a shirt that was too small. I didnt have a receipt and I already wore it. I didnt understand that the Hassle Free Return policy wasn't as simple as it sounds. Nevertheless, the clerk (Dina) and her manager made a one time exception to get me the shirt in the proper size without extra cost! She was very helpful, kind, and understanding. I know now that keeping the receipt is important since they couldnt find the purchase on my card. I work in retail so I know the clerks can't always do what the customer wants but this time worked out! THANK YOU AGAIN! read more

Kohl's is pretty much the only place I go to buy clothing. They almost always have sales and are constantly giving out coupons and discounts. They have cute outfits and accessories, but their prices are definitely on the higher end. Lots of times when I walk around the aisles, there are clothes scattered and thrown everywhere. Typical careless customers who don't know how to shop in a courteous manner, but it does make finding that perfect shirt or pair of jeans a pain sometimes. I've never had a bad experience here and I love their holiday selections for the home as well. Lines can be pretty backed up during holidays or busy times of the year and sometimes they are out of stock of my size of clothing. Overall, this Kohl's is a decent store with tons of selections, gifts, clothes, toys, decor, and more. My wardrobe and home is filled with items bought from here and I'll continue to shop at Kohl's for a long while. read more

Standard Kohl's. Great place to buy underwear, t-shirts, and the occasional cargo pant. They have good sales occasionally. Slightly out of the way of the rest of the business around here (Target, Best Buy, etc) so there's less traffic, which is nice. Parking lot is plenty big. No complaints. read more

First time visiting the day before Christmas Eve - I found the staff very helpful and friendly and also had a great array of children's clothes. I didn't really look at anything else but the kids clothes and toys - very reasonably priced and seems to be of good quality. At the checkout, my checker was so friendly and nice which surprised me being a busy night with customers right before the holidays. This definitely left a good impression. I have to agree with Kevin, this place is very sterile. I've been shopping here with my mother before, and she complained about an odor. Though I came with my sister another time before, we both agreed that it wasn't quite a smell, but rather a lack of it. The store's colors didn't really induce me to buy. It was dark outside because it was pouring the day I went and it wasn't much brighter indoors. The selection leaves something to be desired. And most people were more like trying things on, but not really buying when I was there. I remember when this place was K-Mart and it needed all that space for parking because it would fill up. This place would be lucky if during a weekend day it would even take up four sections of its large and spacious parking lot. read more

I love shopping here for my son, my husband, my mom, pretty much anyone... The toy area is always a mess and never appealing so I never really go to that section. But I never mind digging through the toddler boys clothing regardless of how messy it gets there. I always find great deals on sweaters for him. So I never leave disappointed. In the shoe department, I always seem to find something. When I find something with imperfections, the person at the register always discounts the shoes. Today I received a statement from kohl's with a late fee charge. I had just moved 4 months ago to my new address. I called all of my credits card companies personally to notify them of my change in address. When I was talking to their payment department I explained that I had not received a statement from them in a couple of months as I do not usually make alot of purchases at their company. I was forced to make my payment in full even though I had explained the situtation to them of what was happening. Im an honest person and I don't think that all people should be treated badly even though their are people that do lie about things. I will never shop their store again.
