The problem is we agreed on a number and he didn't fulfill his end of the agreement because I don't know how business works apparently. Cool place to get shoes I guess, but the owner reselling pokemon is just a terrible experience. I've sold cards and traded with this gentleman before and he gave fair deals trade value 80 and buy value 70. In my most recent experience after a few months now cash value is 60 and buy value is 70. Unfortunately I need money and subjected myself to this experience but I just find the behavior odd since he gave fair deals before not sure what this decline is but I would highly RECOMMENDED NOT buying or selling pokemon tcg to Sole and Laces. read more

Like any hype store- they're going to try to upsell items, even items they don't know about- as long as it's "in" right now (labubus, Pokemon cards, popmart in general). It's a hit or miss with the workers there. Some are cool, but some are rude and just try to overprice whatever you're interested in. They don't even really try with customer service tbh. The second they feel like you won't buy anything, they don't help. Most of their "regulars" who have good things to say about them are probably their friends and not actual customers. read more

If you're a sneakerhead, this is the store for you. I came here with a friend that was looking for a particular shoe - it's nice to see a shoe store like this one that is really upfront about what sizes they have in stock. It was even more shocking to see a store like this with shoes in my size (2.5 / 3 in kids or a 5 in women's). This is something I'm definitely not used to. They have a section on Supreme items too. This store is well kept and has a great location (almost right in the middle of the mall), closer to Target. While we didn't end up buying anything (they didn't have our size in the shoes we were looking for), it's nice to know that if I'm looking for Yeezys, or any specific Nikes, this is the store. Went in to buy a chrome hearts hoodie and sweats, and check out some shoes. The dude working there was cool but he said he had to check on the price with his manager. She seemed to be a bit too busy flirting with a customer, so I looked around for about 10 minutes. After checking out some of the shoes, she continues to help other people who came into the store after me. I eventually just gave up and left. I'm not going to patronize a business that can't even be bothered to acknowledge me or give me the price of an item I'm interested in. The guy was coo but the girl was a citch. I was making a size swap on some shoes and the guy said it was coo that my shoes I was trading are real, and he will get me the other size to swap with from the back of the store. I was even adding $65 on top for the size swap. Then the girl comes by and double checks my shoes I am trading to them, goes through every stitch and comparing the shoes to the ones they have. It's all good it's her job. Then in the middle of her checking to see if my pair is real, she keeps helping other customers and doesn't give me the ok to the trade yet. Then goes and checks my pair again as if me and the other dude don't know they are authentic already. 20 minutes passed and I'm standing there like a fool, she keeps re-checking my pair and helping other customers in the middle of helping me. Rude af. The guy keeps looking at me like he has no control and this girl he knows that I know that the girl is being a real citch rn. Finally after 30mins she asks me for the receipt but I told her my homie hit for me on the Snkrs app and I don't have a receipt. So I hit my homie up for the receipt, and he happens to be driving otw home from Reno so he had to stop on the side of the road, forward me the email receipt, and finally this sitch says it's ok with this defeated look on her face. Hate her lol. I get business is business, but this chick held me there for hella long and embarrassed me. Had me in check for 30 whole mins for something that should have taken less than 5 mins. All in all, this sitch prolly needs some better D in her life. She did not look nice lol. DON'T GO HERE TO BUY, SELL, OR TRADE. Their prices aren't fair like most shoe stores in malls.
