Customer service in this store is complete bullshit. Lost my gift recite didn't find my size in store so I was going to exchange item for another item and for a more expensive Item. Lady at the the counter said with no recite I would only get store credit so I agreed but she said I was only getting $3 back because some bought it at that price last at the store when on the tag price is $35 how in the hell would they give me $3 back when it's $35. No respect towards returning customers it's a complete robbery. Never going back to any Kohl's or recommending to anyone. read more

So disappointed today. Usually don't have anything to complain about but working customer service, this was a disaster. Went in to get a microwave and found two but couldn't find the price. My mom went to let someone know and waited 10 min and no one came. She went back to let them know and by that time I had downloaded the app and was able to get the price myself. Then we decided to wait a few more minutes to see if anyone would come because we needed help carrying it up to the front but still no one came. So as I was pushing the box to the registers, which it was not close, one of their employees just walked right by us and didn't even offer to help me get the big box to the front. The cashier that helped us though which I feel bad that I don't remember her name, was helpful and lifted the box herself into another cart so that we could get it to our car because I wasn't about to wait for someone to help us with that. I was looking forward to an interview for a seasonal position and had one scheduled for today, when I showed up I was taken into the office just to be told they will not be hiring anyone else they had already filled all the positions on a previous day. Very unprofessional to line up interviews and have several people show up for nothing. The professional thing to do is call and explain they no longer needed to come in so we weren't waisting our time and coming to an interview just to be told they filled the positions. read more

They allow people to bring your dogs in this place of business, I witnessed this dog lift his leg and pee on the clothes and the lady just kept on moving. What the heck is going in with this company. The Chino store is a mess with merchandise all over the floor, the sales promo are misrepresented as the item discounted is not necessarily the item on the display and lastly every customer checking out had a challenge with their price due to the problem with what's on sale or not. Hi, I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU, to some of the associates that went well beyond the call of duty. I went in last Saturday morning, to pick up some Athletic Shoes, that the website said they were in stock, the shoe associate checked but not in stock, she directed me the the Kiosk, by the back of the store, I started to fumble my way using, when I was approached by I think Rocio, I apologize if I am wrong, she asked if I needed help, I said yes, but I told her I had a store coupon, she helped me a lot in trying to figure out , how to use my store coupon, another associate Brianna, offered me a 20% coupon, for some reason that did not work, then another associate Wendy got involved after after a long time, finally ordering it over the phone, finally the end result, with added coupons, also I had a $35 gift card , I paid $ 2.70 out of pocket, Wendy and Rocio, stayed me with a good 30 minutes. This store is always a mess. The endcaps are a disaster in every department, and if you want to find a specific size of clothing- forget about it. Sizers hardly ever match the size of the product, and the organizaion of the racks is a disgrace. The kitchen linens aisles I don't believe have been organized since the store opened. And if you have a question about anything, good luck finding someone who works there. . I sent an email to customer service about the condition of the store, and in return received a very polite response from the store manager. He said all the right things in the email, but I went back to the store 2 weeks later, there was absolutely no change. Most of the specific items that I referenced in my complaint were still in the exact same condition as weeks before. This store must be running on a Skelton crew or they just don't know what they're doing. The toy dept. looked like the atomic bomb blew up in it. No rime or reason type merchandising. Same item in 5-6 different places. Hard to find the prices. Blue tooth speakers 4 sections but only one with any stock. Displays & merchandise no prices or shelf tags. The housewares and small appliances were another department hard to shop. Displays had no tags, hard to find tags or faded out tags and 90% of the boxes have no prices. The gadget housewares back corner looked like it went out if business and again NO prices on shelves or items. Dressing rooms stuff everywhere, not one open hook in any stall. Went here to pickup some shoes I ordered online to be picked up thinking I'm gonna be out in a hurry only to have to wait in line awhile which is understandable cause service lines are always a long wait but then I get to the counter and show my order form and the girl at the counter has to phone someone else to crab the shoes for me! So I have to wait an extra 10min just for them to get my shoes! Really! Isn't the whole point of online order store pickup that you don't have to wait !? I placed the order the day before and got the email saying it was ready if I would have known that I would have just went in the store and got them without the pickup order! So I went to Kohl's on Wednesday 12.09.15 in search of a particular pair of Nike shoes that I couldn't find two days prior. Me and my co workers went and Ahmed helped me we found them even though his scanner said they didn't have them but there was only one shoe inside the box :(. Don't use there kiosk cause it never works. Annoyed cause I hit proceed to checkout and it did nothing. Got no email no receipt no nothing. Then I went right over to customer support they couldn't help me the just said to use the phone. I used the phone and savannah from customer service couldn't hear us or the phone was broken or something. So now I just wait to see if the $160 charge will go through! A lot of money for me so have sitting there wondering what's going to happen since no one knows what to do. You can place an order using the kiosk, or there's a phone in the customer service section you can use to call to place an order with free shipping. Also they began to accept coupons on mobile phones, and the cashiers let you pick several scratchers for the 15, 20, or 30% off purchase with kohls credit card. read more

Overall the store is decent. Great selection in women clothes. Employees are helpful. Customer Service is awesome they try to help asap with returns and they only have 2 registers to do it so I give them props. Yes it does tend to be messy but I know they try. As someone who's worked retail I know it can be difficult when customers aren't considerate. While there I noticed an employee folding a section of T-shirts and a customer going through almost all of them "looking for their size" and making a mess of it all over again. The toy section is a mess and I'm aware that they know because it's apparently the drop off section for parents to let their kids run wild like it's a daycare. The fitting rooms could be better honestly I saw an associate clean out a mountain of clothes someone left in the fitting room. She had to hang and fold everything just so I could have a clean fitting room to try my items on. Of course it's difficult to clean each and every room when no one hangs their items back up. I don't blame them they try really hard but how could one person clean up after everyone? The problem isn't Associates or the managers the problem is honestly the customer. They're so disrespectful. If you need help looking for something ask, keep your children with you at all times, pick up after yourself and be considerate. read more

In the last few years I've had to deal with a return or exchange here I have had the misfortune to have to deal with Sandra. She seems to hate her job. This time around I came in a few minutes after the store opened and in my experience in customer service I'm generally more forgiving in the early parts of my day but not Sandra. True to her form she sassed me the entire time. Hell I even enjoy being sassed by customer service from time to time because I know the job style and I do it to people too. But damn Sandra get a different job you are really unpleasant to have to deal with especially when I try so hard to not have to do a return or exchange. I know most people are terrible in this job but I'm trying to be pleasant and you just don't give me the time of day. Smile we aren't all here to start trouble. read more

I love kohls, but everytime I come here the place is a mess. Hangers don't correspond to the size of the clothing. The clearence section looks like a bomb went through it. Prices at the register don't match the price on the signs. And the employees are not very friendly. It's not a comfortable place to shop in, in my opinion. read more

This review is not necessarily about Kohl's in Chino, but about Kohl's senior management decisions to abandon personalized customer service in favor of the less costly automated phone tree. Setting up the ability to pay my wife's Kohl's card on the web was a minor nightmare today. Then, all the phone numbers for Kohl's customer service (including the number on the web and my paper bill) go to a phone tree with no option for talking directly with a person ("0" is an invalid response). I had tried creating the online charge account unsuccessfully, two times. I therefore wanted to talk to a person about how to get that setup. The only reason I was finally able to talk to a person, was because I was randomly chosen for a customer service survey at the end of an unsuccessful foray with the phone tree. Even when I finally talked to a customer service person, I was told they couldn't assist me because I was not the card holder (even though I had all the info about my wife that was required). That settled it - tearing up the Kohl's card and going back to using a real credit card backed by my bank, and buying at stores that still offer personalized customer service. Poor customer service equals a "screw-U" Kohl's review! Companies need to get the message - we want to be able to talk, in person, with a Customer service rep who is empowered to satisfy our needs. read more

I have a very negative experience shopping at Kohl's Store. One time I was with a friend shopping at Kohl's and I opened an account with them while they were promoting their convincing deals. The same day, I decided to pay with my personal credit card since Kohl's credit card would come via mail so its better I cleared my charges here since I only would purchased one pair of pants that worth $19.10. However, I was never imagined that having this new account could be a nightmare of my life. This particular Kohl's Store located at Fair Lakes, VA 22033 made false charges on my Kohl account. I didn't realize the false charges until two months later I constantly received phone calls from Kohl store. The recordings keeped saying "Call Kohl's Department Store." "Call Kohls Department Store." At First, I thought it was a sale call and then I called back once, they told me that I have owed more than $170 charges for my purchased on the day I opened the account. My God! This is out of the blue. I quickly went to the store at Fair Lakes tried to get help from them. My first visit, the worker at the customer service would not even call the Store Manager for me and said to me that there was nothing to be done at their store. I had to just make calls to billing department. So, I went home and made few calls to the billing department. They told me a list of the items I didn't purchase and said that I purchased those items. I told them "no." However, they said that I had to go to the store to talk with them since the signature was on the receipt where I purchased. The Billing Department keeps calling me and asking me to pay the bills twice or three times a day. These calls make me crazy and upset. I decide to make my second trip to the Fair Lakes Store. Luckily, I have found my original receipt with this $19.10 charges on it. So, I take my proof to the Fair Lake Store. I went to the Store at Fair Lakes the second trip with the pair of pants that I bought and my original receipt. This time I insisted that I spoke to the Kohl Store Manager. Here this manager name " Cas Dec" who I thought could be someone helpful. Out of my expectation, he didn't even apologize to a lowly customer like me the whole time. He made phone calls and said the same thing of my charge. I showed him the receipt, I told him to take care of this situation right away or I would not leave the store. He had pulled out those false charges and saw the signature didn't match mine. What he did was, to make returns to those charges. That was the only thing he could do for me according to this Manager. He said he has taken care of the situation. Right after I left the store, the Kohl's Billing company keeps calling me and asking about the same charges. This really gets me mad. How stupid is this? I didn't even make these purchases, why the manager solved problems by making returns from me. I still need help. What he did didn't solve my problem. Who can help me in this bad situation? I still receive Kohl's phone calls everyday three or four times a day. I don't know why I have to put up with all these when this mistake has been made by Kohls store Cashier. I do not get any apology or further service from the store. I will tell more people about this unpleasant and humiliating experience. read more

Horrible, been here only a couple times but this place is disgusting! How is this place not shut down?? Several times I asked for help and workers were too busy gossiping about shoppers / other workers. Changing room had piles and piles of clothes all over the floor and it smelled like death in there. I came with my sister in law for her to return a shirt because it still had those tag and was accused of stealing! It'd been a while since I'd been to kohl's, the only department store I frequented when I was younger because it was close by and affordable unlike Macy's, Nordstrom etc. But shopping at Kohl's was always hit-and-miss. When I would go intending to buy something, I would walk out empty-handed but on the days I wandered in, I'd emerge with clearance items galore and a smile plastered across my face. Fortunately, today was one of the latter. My mom had received a $10 promotional gift in the mail so we decided to stop by and see what we could find. After rummaging through clearance handbags and wallets for an hour, we walked out with one of each in hand for hardly anything! She'd dug up a Croft&Barrow wallet (orig $28 but on sale for $11.20) and I found a Simply Vera Wang hobo bag that was ah-dorbs but missing it's price tag. We brought it to checkout where Maria called up one of the associates to see if she could find the same bag with a price tag. The associate, Helen, couldn't, a fate I'd predicted because I'd already attempted to do the same. She did, however, bring a similar Vera Wang bag which was much smaller (and prob cheaper) than the one I'd picked to ring up instead. So, what must have been a pricey bag ended up being super affordable! As if that weren't enough, Maria the cashier saw that we were Kohl's charge members and swiped us another 20% discount as part of their friends and family promo! In the end we shelled out very little for both a handbag and wallet. Hands down the BEST deal I've found at Kohl's so far all thanks to two AWESOME associates- Maria and Helen!! I absolutely love Kohls. I easily spend 1k here a year. I love the discounts, the clearance and especially when I get a 30% off and Black Friday is amazing. I got almost all of my gifts for Christmas here every year. Out of all of the kohls I've shopped at this one is the best. I'm not sure how some of these other people have had bad customer service cause I've only ever had good here. And I'm here a couple times a month at least. I live closer to the Eastvale one but would rather come here. They took care of a problem for me yesterday that the Eastvale one couldn't and wouldn't. I think sometimes people have bad CS where ever they go because they have a bad attitude or want to blame other people when they aren't happy. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews! I'm actually really happy with Kohls. The customer service is much better than most stores and I love the hassle free returns- no receipt? No problem. I also like that the coupons they mail out are good on ANYTHING in the store not like the other 99% of coupons out there that have gobs of fine print. Lastly, when you order at the in store kiosk then you don't need to pay for shipping. In other words, if they don't have it in store but it's online then just ask for it and it shall be done! They monitor things said about them on Twitter which is nice, they're always looking to make improvements where it's needed. I like Kohls as a company and store, it reminds me of Mervyns except with better customer service. read more
