What a dope spot. You walk in and it's much larger than you would initially expect. There are a good number of tables and chairs for those who want to sit, otherwise you can order your food to go. The options are plenty with wraps, bagels and sandwich options. They also have waffles to round out your breakfast needs. You order at the first counter and wait until they call your order to pay. They have chips and drinks to choose from as well as a full espresso bar if you want a lil coffee. I ordered the veggie bagel and it had mushrooms, peppers, egg and more. I chose an everything bagel and ate some there. Overall it was tasty and the bagel wasn't over toasted. It was missing some sauce which cheese might have helped (I ordered mine sans cheese), but I added a hot sauce at home and it was perfect. My friend lives in Bushwick so we both went to Knickerbocker bagel for breakfast while I was visiting. Expect to wait in line during peak hours (esp during the weekend) but it's definitely worth the wait. They have a wide variety of bagels and cream cheeses that are on display. Today, I ate a toasted hero with pastrami and mozzarella cheese along with large (24oz) decaf black iced coffee, and let me tell you, it taste good. This is just ordering this sandwich only. Let me explain its features: The bread is toasted to perfection, the corn beef taste like you're eating Mexican food known as "caldo de res" (the looks is ugly like the beef is burn, but once you taste it, you'll agree with me), and last but not least, the mozzarella cheese is not really amazing, but it's like you buy your local bodega, and the decaf black iced coffee is not too much caffeine, it's just the right amount of very little (almost tasteless to the caffeine) . As a result, I would recommend to those who like corn beef, even the customers who haven't try the pastrami, if you are curious what it taste like, try it for yourself. In addition, the pastrami is not only good on toasted hero, but as with bagels and a roll. The only I dislike about Knickerbocker bagel in general, it's over-pricey, compare to other coffee shops and the local deli. Just buying what I bought it cost me $19.76 (no joke) just ordering very little on the toppings and it's already too expensive. Arguably one of the best bagels I've had while visiting Brooklyn/NYC. Came here twice when I was staying with a friend that lived just around the corner. The first time we went it was Saturday during lunch time, and this place was SLAMMED. There was a line almost out the door the entire time we were there. Apparently it gets like that during the weekends so if that's when you plan to come here, keep that in mind! There are a ton of bagel and breakfast option, as well as deli selections. I had that Mac salad and loved it. Also ordered a smoothie and thought it was alright, a little pricey for what I was getting. There are a ton of cream cheeses to choose from as well. Orders are usually made at the counter before paying, so try to help out the workers and pay attention to when you're next in line. The LOX bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese was amazing and so was the garlic bagel with lox cream cheese. Would definitely come back! read more

The time I took out, I was pleased that even though the line was out the door, they were very fast and we were able to get in and out with not too much problem. Loved the selection of chips and drinks as well. The Spicy Mama, on of the specials, on a wheat bagel was OUTRAGEOUS. The chipotle cream cheese wasn't too smoky and paired so well with the generous portion of turkey and egg.
