We were very hesitant to visit after reading some of the lower-rated reviews, but we're glad we decided to give this place a chance. In our experience, many of those criticisms simply weren't warranted. The food was solidly above average, and I'd rate the pizza a strong 4 out of 5 for taste. In fact, I'm leaving a 5-star review because the overall rating seems lower than what this restaurant actually deserves. The crust, sauce, and toppings all came together well, and as vegetarians, we enough of an options that met our needs. The service was another highlight. The two women working during our visit were genuinely kind, welcoming, and carried smiles throughout our entire experience. Good service can make a meal memorable, and they certainly contributed to ours. If I had one suggestion, it would be to expand the selection of house-made appetizers and desserts. That would round out the menu nicely and make the experience even better. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a place we'd happily return to. read more

The stuff was super sweet and friendly, the pizza tasted good... no ambiance what so ever. It's just a relatively inexpensive dinner to have in Seward while everything else seemed to be overpriced in Alaska. lol read more

Had for dinner our last night in Seward looking for an easy dinner to take home and this was perfect! Just a small spot right on the harbor with the classic pizza shop vibe; some arcade games and all the crushed red pepper you could want! Only one person working and he took our order immediately and got to work it was very appreciated! The pizza itself was delicious we kept it simple with two large pepperoni's and we were not disappointed, they barely made it through the night . Highly recommend if you want to find a comfort meal in Seward! read more

Klondike Pizzeria - Large pepperoni, this was the next day so give it some grace! - Pizza Near Me - Seward, Alaska

Broken soda machine after charged for it. Pizza was flavorless, soggy, and gross. Seemed very dirty and run down. Staff was not helpful.

Grabbed this because we wanted a break from seafood and also a chill night in the hotel. It was delicious! Crust, sauce and topping were great, little heavy of the cheese for us, but probably what most people would enjoy. Would get it again! Had half plain cheese for our daughter and smoked salmon (couldn't help it), mushroom, red onion and pineapple on the other side. read more

My hubby wanted a slice of pizza and we were strategically going by this place near our hotel. He ordered medium pepperoni pizza and I wandered over to the fish place right next door. More on that later! The pizza arrived when he was half way through his first beer. It looked terrific and he waited a bit for it to cool down, and the first bite he took was good. Not great, but mind you we're from Jersey, the land of absolutely great pizza, so this was passable. Now to my fish story - I didn't want any pit, so I inquired if they had fresh rockfish, which I had the night before. The chef said yes, took my order, and even brought it out to me in the pizza area. It was sheer perfection on my plate!! The two pieces of rockfish were lightly breaded and pan fried til done, with fries on the side. Who knew fish perfection could be just next door!! The owners appeared hard working friendly individuals who went out of their normal way to make two friends over a small weekday dinner. We will never pass by this place without stopping by again, if life should bring us there. read more

Good Pizza but not much else. The place was deserted! No workers on the food and bar side and!

Called over 6 times trying to order. They're open until 10. No answer on any calls. Some grade A amazing service right there. Maybe it's for the best, everyone I talked to said the pizza is horrible. read more

i looked online to see if they were open. Said they closed at 10:00pn. I arrived at 9:40pm. stood at the counter for 10 minutes watching the lady put sauce on a pepperoni pizza. after 10 minutes she looked at me and said "I'm not taking any more orders tonight as we're too close to closing." i will scratch this pizza place off my list for anytime I'm in Seward. read more

The guy behind the counter was a nice Jamaican fella but the pizza is barely ok and probably 2.5 stars. I wish they made it a unique Alaska pizza with reindeer sausage instead of generic Italian. It is an easy pass unless you are really desperate for a slice. read more

As far as pizza goes. This is exactly what I expected, and then some. Pizza was hot, fresh and the right cheese to sauce ratio. Service was fine, but truly I wasn't so concerned about that as the food. The place absolutely reminded me of a 90 nostalgia vibe, with a pac man in the corner. read more

ordered our pizza, ask them how we know when it was done so we waited at a table and our pizza was waiting at the counter they never contacted us when it was done, pizza was terrible, service was terrible, place was trashed, no tables clean, rootbeer was flat and needed someone who knew what to do change it, not a lot of beer selections-staff was not a solid 10 either was not a good experience at all!! read more

5 star pizza in a 2.5 Star restaurant. The service was good, but the pizza was delicious. We got two 11 inch build your own pizzas. The ingredients were fresh and piled high; and the crust was crispy. The restaurant wasn't much to look at, but the pizza made up for it. I give the pizza 5 stars but the service and ambiance were at best a 3. read more

Soggy undercooked pizza and way overpriced. Stay away. Workers were nice but pizza was pretty bad.

regular pizza for wife was fine, but website states they have gluten free crust for those with special diets, they had no idea what gluten free crust was. very disappointing that i had to make another stop for me someplace else read more

Stopped here for pizza post a 6 hour cruise. The person taking our order did not speak English very well which was a challenge. We ordered a vegetarian large pizza. Was big enough for our family of four. A little on the pricey side but then everything in Seward is expensive. We were all super hungry post the cruise and ended up devouring the pizza. Not something we would have enjoyed back home, but was as good as anything available here. read more

Look y'all, I'm gonna be real. They do not write down your order. You have to come back around when you think you're up and that's when they'll mentally put you in the queue. I'm he pizzeria doesn't look like anything special but the pizza is pretty good! They seek personal pies for $14 with you to 5 toppings and they are very generous with how many toppings they put per pizza. Pizza is very low quality, crazy greasy, and severely undercooked. My family really enjoy this create your own style pizza place?! When my husband said it's a 2 minute cook time for the pie, I had little hope for the crust. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it all was! The crust was soft with just the right chewiness. I loved that they had reindeer sausage. It was a great pizza at a great price! read more

Really good pizza. Loved the crust. Amazed at how fast it was made. Kind staff. Somewhat limited indoor seating so we went to the park to eat which was great! read more

Not too bad. Wasn't amazing tho, and was definitely undercooked. After taking my pizza out of the oven, the lady couldn't get my pizza off of the metal pan because the dough was stuck to it. Which usually is a pretty telling sign of it being undercooked when the dough is still stretchy, but they gave it to me anyway. Also, the price needs to go down compared to the quality you're getting. With a little more training for the staff, and longer cooking times, I think this could be a good pizza place. read more

The pizza was expensive and not very tasty. I don't think that any of the staff was from America, as everyone was chattering away in Spanish(?). I asked for some red pepper flakes, as you get in most pizzerias, and was given black pepper packets LOL. It was okay, just tasted bad. The dough was chewy and the flavor was meh. Only thing open when I needed it.

Pizza was delicious, employees were friendly and welcoming, prices were great. Only suggestion I may have is their meat lovers pizza should be called a three meat pizza because it does not include all the meat they have to offer. Also the vents could use a good cleaning. Will definitely return. read more

We called ahead to order our pizza. When we arrived at the building it was beside a gas station ran down. It turns out this place is in a whole other building that is not called Klondike Pizzeria. Anyways when we got our pizza, the dough was undercooked and there was WAY to much cheese added. And I'm a person who likes a lot of cheese. It was gross and I had to force myself to eat it. I thought pizza couldn't be bad, leave it to Seward AK to debunk this myth. The crust is the most annoying part. It is very thin in the middle, but very thick on the crust. This means you make a huge mess while trying to eat the bulk of the pizza, but then get to enjoy a thick, gummy crust. The sauce is probably out of a can. The toppings are bad. The prices are aren't quite felony-level, but solidly misdemeanor. I'd say skip, but restaurants in Seward generally suck. read more

Honestly the worst pizza i've ever had and it tasted like a fart. Also saw a mouse rolling around in the pizza sauce.

Dont waste your time!!!!! Undercooked the price was right but if you want good pizza in Seward go to Apollo......

The pizza was okay. It was made like a major pizza chain meaning it was like a Ford factory for pizza. The cashier asked us if we'd like our pizza to go or in restaurant. We said in restaurant and it came out in a box. I can see dishes in the kitchen. I know it's later in the evening but the whole team wasn't trying much (they might have been understaffed considering they left a bell at each counter for customers to alert the cashiers). Also, the beer needs to be ordered from the other side of the restaurant rather than where the pizza is ordered (we were not notified of this until investigation). A couple team members were leisurely taking a break at a table and having loud conversations in another language). It is tourist season and I understand but I wouldn't comeback after this experience. read more
