We had just arrived in Seward and were waiting for our hotel shuttle, so we decided to pop into SupaLuck's Bakery to "just see" if they happened to have any gluten-free treats. They sure did! This quaint bakery was a joy to visit from start to finish. The staff was super attentive and helpful with a smile. I was craving a nice, soft cookie, and they had SIX delicious gluten-free flavors to choose from: Red Velvet, Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, Nutella, Matcha Macadamia, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. Talk about a happy surprise! So often, gluten-free options feel like an afterthought at bakeries, but not here. After much deliberation, I went with the Double Chocolate Chip and enjoyed it as soon as we got back to our hotel room. DEEEE-LISH!! It was incredibly soft, rich, and flavorful without being overly sweet. Exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you, SupaLuck's Bakery, for making this gluten-free traveler feel so welcome. I truly felt Supa-Lucky to have found your shop! read more

Fantastic bakery! I have a huge sweet tooth and stopped here at least three times over the long weekend. It's a little pricey, but everything I tried was worth it. The bakery has such a cute, cozy vibe with plants and other fun little items for sale, making it a nice place to browse while you wait. I went the sweet route and can recommend the cookies and sticky bun, but they also have a great selection of savory options like the chicken curry bun and pizza bread. I also grabbed the overnight oats to bring with me on a boat tour, which was perfect for a quick breakfast on the go. They accept credit cards, but there's a discount if you pay with cash. Definitely worth stopping by while in Seward! read more

The danish was hot and delicious, the coffee was okay. Lots of snacky things and kitschy trinkets in a cute space with friendly service. Nice stop to pick up a few things for the road. read more

Supaluck’s Bakery - Savory danish - Bakeries Near Me - Seward, Alaska

Found this bakery on a cold rainy day. Delicious desserts, great service and nice ambiance...so cute!!!

Finding this little spot for a quick breakfast before our cruise was probably the best thing that happened to my Asian tummy in Seward! As soon as I walked by the shop, the smell of freshly baked bread pulls me right in--I knew I had to stop. Everything is baked fresh in the morning, and it was so good I went back two days in a row. On day one, I tried the ham and cheese bun--absolute cheesy heaven. Ask them to heat it up. The gooey cheese, crisp bread, and generous ham chunks are next-level. I also tried the garlic cream cheese bread. Pricey at $10.50, but worth every bite--so good I'm drooling just writing about it. On day two, I went for the BBQ pork bun and wow--it tasted like home. I can really pick up the Chinese five spice, and the filling is generous and satisfying. One note: they don't serve espresso during the summer, just regular drip coffee. But honestly? The breads alone earn this place a 100/100. The service was fantastic. The lady behind the counter, Giok, was incredibly kind and welcoming Note ~~~~ This is an Asian-style bakery, with breads made in Japanese and Chinese methods. If you're expecting European style baked goods, this might not be the place for you--which probably explains why a few reviewers left feeling "disappointed. read more

Don't order any cappucino or espresso drinks here. The baked goods look amazing. However, they cannot accommodate any espresso drinks except on Wednesdays. Unfortunately I waited 30 minutes for a simple cappuccino and I should've just left but I already paid and really needed the caffeine. read more

My husband wanted a snack so we stopped in. I looked around but frankly, none of their baked goods looked appealing and they were VERY expensive. My husband got a sweet which he didnt finish which confirmed my instincts. We both got a coffee. He felt his coffee was better than the one we got from the coffee hut, I thought mine was eh, even though they used my favorite grind from Anchorage. So I'm gonna say I would pass on this place in the future. read more

The menu was absolutely amazing, especially the double chocolate chip cookie. All ingredients were well balanced, allowing you to taste the best of the cookie. In addition to the food, the cashier was very friendly. They not only sell food, but also variations of merchandise and plants. The bakery was very welcoming and had a very nice theme. Overall, I would recommend this bakery to anyone who is visiting Seward. read more

Muffins and cookies are delicious! Sandwiches are overpriced and not worth it at all.

I had a sticky bun and it was delicious. I also had a hot tea and it was good. Service was very good.

This is an asian inspired bakery. The buns - savory or sweet are amazing. I had a garlic cream cheese bun which was truly a meal. Peanut butter cookie was good but the buns steal the show! read more

I went here last year and I still think about this place and have been meaning to write a review. I got the peanut butter cookie and it was the best cookie I've had in my life. The staff was super friendly too. I literally go to sleep thinking about this cookie- the perfect softness and sweetness with a nice peanut buttery center. I dont have any pics just trust me. I hope I can visit Seward again to experience this bakery again! read more

Plain breakfast sandwich and overpriced. The selections of items are few. It is a small bakery. It would be nice to have a wider selection.

I've been twice now and it's a charming asset that this town is needed for a long time. I really wish they made more bread. I tried the garlic cheese roll. It was fabulous. I had a strawberry cream cake that was divine cheese. Raspberry crumpet was baked to perfection. The Biscoff cookie I tried was a little dry, but it tasted great with my cup of coffee. Everyone I've met in the bakery has been super nice and it has a quaint happy decor. read more

The baked goods are delightful. Well crafted both artisticly and in taste. Service was fast and ambiance was fine. More of a take and go feel than a sit down place. read more

So glad that we stopped in to check them out! The ham & cheese bun that my son and I had was absolutely delicious! Service was friendly, fast and efficient. I was impressed with how clean and orderly their shop is. I wish that they had more selections in their display case though. I will definitely go back when I visit Seward next. read more

OMG went here on a visit to Seward because the shop was decorated so fun and grabbed some eggnog cheesecake and cookies. Outstanding so much that I was back at their door the next morning. I got a pumpkin pretzel and GF cookies for friends. Problem was I was already an hour out of town before I opened my pretzel otherwise I would have spun around and begged for a dozen more!! Sure wish they had a shop in Anchorage....?maybe mail order....???! read more

Incredible cinnamon roll. Took it home to go and microwave reheated and it was delicious!

Service and ambiance were pleasant. Food was bad. Ny cheesecake was runny and the crust was super dry and horrible. Chocolate cupcake was dry and tasteless. Almost $20 for the two. Do not recommend. read more

The cinnamon roll was amazing and my wife loved the gluten free cookies. We went back twice during our visit. Highly recommend.

We only tried their cinnamon roll. It was huge and delicious. Yummy. Will return next time we're in Seward.

Supaluck is a remarkable bread baker. I highly recommend any product that is bread based - any of the filled buns, pizza bread, cinnamon rolls and especially her pretzels! Man, they are delicious and I would buy a dozen of them the next time she bakes them. Her cheesecakes are very, very good as well. We have especially enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake and the peanut butter cheesecake looks amazing. read more

Stopped by to get breakfast for the next morning's wildlife cruise. Picked up a pizza bread with pepperoni, ham and cheese danish, and kimchi fried rice. Honestly, everything tasted really good even the next day with a little microwaving. Not sure why the one stars. The place is clean and cute but, in my opinion, pretty expensive. read more

Perfect new little brunch spot! Delicious Turkey sandwich with very fresh ingredients & amazing baked goods & breads including a savory garlic cream cheese roll! good area & super cute decor! Help out this small business they have potential to be great! read more

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was so below expectation I couldn't eat it. One side was burnt and the other not toasted at all, cold egg and sausage, and a single slice of cheese, and very overpriced. I would not recommend this to anyone. read more

Went here and got a taro bun, cream cheese garlic bread and a thai tea. The taro bun was not what I expected and I was not a fan, which is not their fault. Garlic bread was good, probably the only thing I would purchase again. The thai tea was mid at best but it was an extra 2.50 for whip cream! I understand this is a new business, but as tourist in Seward these prices were outrageous and it wasn't worth the money. read more
