Excellent coffee. People were standing in the rain for their coffee, even when there were other options, which are limited. They don't have drip coffee and they have 2 little outdoor seats which are only usable if its not raining, which in Seward is.... never. Service was not particularly friendly, but in a tourist town that doesn't really surprise. Id try them again because the cinnamon vanilla latte is really good. But if the coffee was mediocre, I wouldn't go back- so we'll see. read more

Amazing! One of, if not the, best dark chocolate mochas I've had, and I've had them in many parts of the world and all over the USA. Very chocolatey and not overly sweet (I do like them completely unsweetened but that's rarely possible and this was very good to me--you can always add extra sweetness if you prefer that). The lady running it (perhaps the owner) was so nice. Even though it was drizzly and cool when we went due to it being the beginning of the season, they had tables under a cover where we could sit if needed, but we took ours to go. If/when in Seward again, we will return. We also checked out two other places with coffee in town but nothing came close to the taste of this mocha! Thank you read more

My sister got a chocolate mocha (which was so yummy) and I got a Marathon smoothie (with oats, protein powder, peanut butter, berries) which nourished me well for the long day ahead. I always like stopping by here when I'm in Seward. Nature's Nectar is conveniently located across the street from where the cruise ships board so you can grab a cup of coffee for the ride or to have while exploring the shops on the same street. It's a walk-up place with a few tables in case you want to sit down and enjoy the scenery on the off chance it isn't raining in Seward. During my last visit, I had their signature cinnamon vanilla latte. Having had many lattes of the same variety in the Anchorage area, I can say for sure that this one surpasses them all. I think the difference here is that they steam the milk with Saigon cinnamon, according to the sign outside the ordering window. The espresso is bold yet smooth and the cinnamon and vanilla flavors taste rich but not artificial. There was a longer wait for my drink that I anticipated, but ultimately I think it was worth it. Definitely recommended if you're in need of a caffeine fix in Seward. read more

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my father for my morning coffee. We had stayed in Seward for the night and so turned to Yelp to help us find a coffee place. Natures Nectar happened to have good Yelp ratings and be nearby and so we headed over. The shop itself isn't much to look at since it is pretty much a window on 4th Avenue. I ended up ordering my usual large Americano and was disappointed that I didn't see any food for sale either. As my Americano was being handed over to me I noticed that one of the employees was putting out a stack of breakfast sandwiches for $8 each. Even though I was hungry I can't say that the price appealed to me and so i left with only the Americano. At least that was good as the coffee flavor was strong and smooth. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My coffee here tasted good and I would be curious to see if their sandwiches are worth the price. read more

A triple yes on this coffee place. This is the kind of place that beats a Starbucks into the ground. A great little window to walk up even on a rainy day and get the best coffee in all of Seward. And probably all of Alaska. The friendly brista remembered my coffee from the day before! She is spot-on. Love her. Coffee is smooth not too acidic. And the americanos and & espresso have a nice rich flavor. They do have a variety of Blended juices and smoothies. And also they have great flavors to blend into frappes. Prices are very good. And she is quick. They open pretty early I think 630. This is much earlier than most other places and you can easily pull up right in front for 30 minutes. Located right along 4th in front of the harbor this is a great spot you can walk down from your hotel. Or pool right off the highway into 4th and be on your way. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect from a cute little coffees shop in Seward, Alaska at a time when literally everything else was closed for the season, but in that I ended up with a really great warm drink when I desperately needed it I'm in full support here. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Nature's Nectar is literally a tiny little coffee stand, so don't expect to be able to take a seat and relax for a bit. Even so, the family operation is exceptionally cute and they're quick to burn through the lines that can grow long in the lead up to a cruise departure. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $5.00 got me a decent sized cinnamon vanilla latte, which was a reasonable price point given this was pretty much the only option for coffee in the area. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? As I mentioned I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from Nature's Nectar, but at the end of the day this was a really solid cinnamon vanilla latte. It was sweet but not too sweet and it retained just enough of it's actual coffee flavor to keep both my girlfriend and I happy even though we tend to have pretty different interpretations of what makes a good coffee drink. Worst coffee ever.... Funniest coffee shop experience ever. The comedian on the cruise made fun of Alaskans' as the dumbest people ever. He made fun of cruise people as well... so its all good. It was one of the few places in Alaska we found to actually offer iced coffee, and was the third cup of iced coffee we ordered and tossed 3 sips in. The ice was actually stored in a tiny lunch sized igloo cooler, guess nobody orders iced. So we are handed our coffees and the plastic lid is already on, no sweetners added as they were outside the window. She opens and closes it, shoves straw in, and coffee leaks as it was so totally full to begin with. She asks for a napkin, and the kid behind the counter gets a sheet of paper towel and says "we only have Kirklands, is a Kirkland napkin okay?". So coffee a waste. read more

Five stars!!!! This place is the best coffee in Seward hands down. Cedar is the brains and heart of this exquisite place for your morning caffeine. She puts love in every cup and it is evident by the droves of locals that frequent her small shop every day. Being from New Orleans, she knows how coffee should be. This walk up place has a few small benches outside if you want to sit and sip, but most people grab their cup and get on with their day. Stopped here on a sunny august day for a smoothie. Got the Denali which was tart and filling. Yes, the price is a bit high, but pretty par for the course in Alaska. They have some amazing all natural fruit smoothies. They're better then jambalaya juice and smoothie king. They are full of flavor, the ingredients are fresh and I know this for a fact as I work at the local grocery store and sell or see the owner in the store daily buying all the ingredients. The price is fair, considering the price of everything in Alaska. It cost about $8 for, w hat I believe is a 20 oz smoothie. I know for some, myself included that may be a bit much for a smoothie but give it a chance and a taste. I had the Marathon smoothie and would highly recommend it for strawberry lovers. read more

The best mocha I've had in at least a decade! Natural coconut with house-made dark chocolate! I also had the tropical tea and it was marvelous! Delicious, carefully crafted espresso drinks, friendly service, reasonable prices. It's sort of a one-woman stand, so it took some time for each drink, and at times this might be frustrating (perhaps if you're on your way to a boat cruise or some other tourist attraction nearby). We had a hazelnut latte, cappuccino, and hot chocolate and all were great. The smoothies sounded great but were quite expensive... but there were testimonials posted all over, so that had me hopeful. We stopped here to kill time (and warm up) before our whale watching cruise. I ordered a coconut hot chocolate and my husband ordered an americano. We were both impressed with the taste and quality of our drinks. While it did take a while to get our drinks (roughly 10 minutes), the wait was more than worth it.
