We were walking in downtown Seward and needed a quick dinner before our bus came. Luckily we got a table here before a line formed -- the wait would have been 1 hour. We ordered clam chowder bowl, halibut tacos (starter) and cauliflower elotes (starter). They came out in reasonable time consider they had a full house. We were able to eat quickly and catch our bus. Clam chowder had a lot more potatoes than clams. I saw an older photo of the ceviche that seemed to have more food. I guess they changed the portion since that previous reviews posted. This place has bad vibes. Food is mediocre at best. With exception of the host, staff we dealt with were just plain weird. Ambiance is odd collection of cardboard boxes stacked in random corners, and bad artwork. Lots of great reviews though, starting to think Seward peeps have Stockholm Syndrome. read more

I was hungry and it's my day off so I walked over to this spot. I was here last week but I'm I just checked in. LOL! Today I remembered to do all the things including take pictures of my food. I walked in and was seated immediately, I chose to sit at the bar because it's just easier and the chairs all have better cushion. After seeing another patron eating a burger i decided to order one too! Great choice. I had the jalapeño burger with bacon jam and man was it delicious. The burger was a perfect medium well, the brioche bun was perfectly toasted, the white cheddar cheese was the perfect complement to the slightly sweet bacon jam, the bacon was crispy, Smokey and not greasy. The only complaint was the slice of tomato that is out of season and tasteless. I mean it is Alaska after all. My seafood chowder which I paid an additional $4.00 for a cup was okay but whatever, the burger made up for it. All in all it was a great experience and delicious meal. Because it was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, the place wasn't as packed and noisy as it can be sometimes. The ambiance was super relaxed today so I sat and ate inside. Came here as we were looking for a seafood restaurant since this is located in a fishing town. It is nautically themed with a bar area and general seating with tables and booths. The service was average. What ultimately fell short was the food. The halibut in the roasted pepper salad was rubbery and over salted. The seafood chowder should be called a potato chowder because it was mainly comprised of large potato chunks and cream. When we asked about the king crab legs they notes the price was $195/lb! Needless to say we passed on that option and I'm glad because if the halibut was any indication of how The other seafood would be prepped we made the right choice. read more

These jokers had a very nice Rockfish taco dish with nice lightly breaded Rockfish. I had a difficult time finding lightly beaded fish in town. This was one of the two that beaded them nice. In 2025 we went to this restaurant off the beaten path in Seward. What a nice place all by itself. Four of us enjoyed our meals. We did carry out pizzas and they were great! We ordered a pepperoni, onion and green pepper pizza and then a specialty pizza with garlic oil, mrooms, two types of cheese and arugula. I relied heavily for dinner tonight and we were not disappointed. We started off with a fried calamari appetizer. It was very crunchy and the aioli helped to round out the dish. Small criticism though as there were only 3 heads/tentacles. Usually there's a lot more. Anyway, the mains were delicious. The fried chicken sandwich was well cooked in all of its crispy wonder. The halibut was cooked perfectly and there were a fair amount of vegetables which was very much needed. One of us ordered the clam chowder and while it tasted good, there were a ton of potatoes and very little clams. I had the salmon which came with mashed potato and veggies. The salmon was I little dry (perhaps because it was a skinny piece) but had great flavor. For dessert, we shared a good sized piece of carrot cake. It was very fresh and the frosting wasn't very sweet. Service was very good. All of the staff were smiling and they were attentive to our needs. read more

Ordered online using the Toast app at 8:10pm. Was given pickup time est. 8:35. Waited until 9pm (closing) for my order. Pizza was flaming hot and the fries and onion rings were room temp. Do the math. Hungry campers didn't mind much. It disappeared pretty quickly. One -medium chicken bacon ranch pizza, order of fries, and order of onion rings =$50 Everything was tasty enough. The chicken on the pizza was bleh but the dog enjoyed it. Without the chicken I really enjoyed the pizza but it was not worth $28. Both fries and onion rings while not fresh or hot, were really good. Customer service was also room temperature. Seems like there aren't a lot of options in Seward that aren't hiking up prices and serving mediocre food. I opted to camp for three additional days on top of the 5 I'd reserved, so when the food ran out, I had to try some Seward fare. My son ordered the chicken and waffles- he said the waffles were good but the chicken, tho well fried was completely lacking seasoning My partner ordered the buttermilk fried chicken entree with mashed potatoes and he had the same sentiment- no seasoning and also added that it was a boneless chicken thigh, and the texture was also off putting. I ordered the Alfredo pasta with a bay shrimp add on and the clam chowder- both were okay, my main complaints being that my food was lukewarm while the chicken that my son and partner ordered were steaming hot- the chowder was very well seasoned and flavorful- but also very thick and I got a clam that was gritty. Not a terrible place to eat, their hospitality was great... but also idk if I would go back if given the choice. Based on past reviews, we prob should have ordered burgers. read more
