There's a small parking lot oFf the street and a side door And front door to enter thru. It's very small. Galley style space with a full view of the kitchen. It's super cool. There are tables and bar stools. We chose the stools and were super happy with it. Our service was top notch She was friendly repeated our order back to us. Accommodated our request and refilled our drinks quickly. We orderd the oatmea and it came with raisens brown sugar milk and toast. It was Verrazano hot and not sticky. Very fresh. I also ordered the garbage plate and subbed out bell pepper for jalapeño and Tom mayors for mushrooms and it didn't disappoint. It was huge!! It also cAme with toast. I added hot sauce on top too. It gave it a great kick along with those jalapeños. The food came out in less than 5' and we got to see them make it right there. It was so fun. Food portions are large and the prices are great. There is nothing like a hole in the wall, diner breakfast! You can find this gem off historic Wells street near downtown. The interior is nothing special. It is small, but cozy! There is a counter with barstools and then a few tables to snag a seat. The staff was friendly and very attentive. They move people in and out quick, but not in a hurry so they utilize the small space they have! Our waitress was very sweet and took great care of us! The menu is over exhausting, but they do all the classics well! We grabbed coffee, which is a must in the morning. I decided to order the garbage place. Eggs, peppers, onions, and potatoes all smothered with sausage gravy. It was fabulous and a hearty portion! I will definitely be coming back to Klemm's. The cutest and sweetest cafe! The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is homie!!! I loved the breakfast I got and my friend Rachel was impressed with her's as well! I got what the server recommended and I got a huge breakfast; potatoes, eggs, bacon and pancakes! They put blueberries in my pancakes and chocolate chips in my friends, due to our request! Ordered 2 garbage plates to be delivered. I had never had them from Well st always State St. when we opened the boxes they looked nothing like the picture, no gravy which makes it better than another local joints. We started eating them and my son looks at me and asks if mine tastes funny. I tell him not to eat it. I complained to the delivery service. Which did no good, I got nothing back on my card. Those garbage plates did get eaten........by our dog who dug them out of the trash. While we went to the other local place to pick up our garbage plates!! read more

Awesome place to get a fast and ready breakfast. I love that its a quick but amazing breakfast food dine in place. Service is always so amazing. They greet you as you walk in and are ready to take your order. The menue is a usual breakfast menu but the love thats added to the food makes it so much better. The perfect Saturday morning stop before visiting Hyde's Bookstore across the street. I do love this place. It's small, old, and SUPER comfortable. Having only been here for breakfast this is what I can tell you: Their is typically one cook and two waitresses in the whole place. You can sit at the counter or a table/booth. The food is prepared in front of you diner style in a flash. The food is DELICIOUS & cheap! I suggest the garbage plate for breakfast. Don't be turned away by the outside because what is inside is pure American diner in your small town neighborhood. While I don't live here they still treated me kind and provided great service. This place is small inside but cozy. The food is straightforward breakfast (served "all day"...they close at 1pm. We got a big plate of French toast and 2 eggs #11 for $4.90. I got a #7 oatmeal with toast. They have the caddy full of any kind of smucker's jelly you could ever want. The service was fantastic. My coffee was always refilled as she went through. Food was disgusting. Would not recommend. I ordered the breakfast garbage plate and it literally tasted like garbage. I also had a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of soup. Old People like it here, old People come in by the flocks, parking is tough, but if you can park over at GI Joe's and run across the street you're winning. Park in the plaza across the street or do something. Klemm's is very good, good french toast, waffles, burgers and more You could do a lot worse than coming here for sure. Best B&G we've ever had...perfectly seasoned, required no additional salt or pepper! Only issue we had was that we order delivery thru Uber and the gravy wasn't put in a separate container than the biscuits and was instead already smothered on top of the biscuits. This could've been a mushy mess depending how long it took for us to get our order and it definitely wouldn't have saved for leftovers (luckily it was so delicious we finished it off though) if u order delivery or to go , just something to be aware of and u might want to request that the items are separate to ensure best quality...prices are reasonable and food is delicious though. read more

Great Breakfast. Be aware you may have to wait, but for my wife and I it was worth it. I ordered the eggs and sausage and my wife ordered the chicken fried steak. Nothing fancy, just good ol' pancakes, eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes, etc. It's a pretty small place and was very popular on the Sunday morning I stopped through. From what I gather, it's popular with locals. You might have to wait for a table, but service is quick and you won't have to wait long. Like, it was really quick. Love it -- I love watching the woman cook up a tasty breakfast quick and hot ! This is big city in a small city. Delicious food that probably isn't good for you in the long haul, but is a joy to eat. I swear this place has an active poltergeist. The service was prompt and friendly. It was fairly busy when we went but we had our breakfasts within 15 minutes of ordering. It's very small inside, but the tables and floors were all clean. We had plans for another downtown diner on a whirlwind trip to Fort Wayne. Remembering that Klem's was on our way to our next destination made it our next choice.
