Returned post covid and changes have been made to ensure safety. -each room has Lysol and client can use prior laying down -witnessed changing of linens after my massage -want to be in the same room as your friend/ partner? Just ask. They can accommodate couples -ashiatsu massage available. -masks worn masseuse and patrons are asked to wear them as well -AC was on, felt comfortable -lights dimmed, very minimal light usage -serene music playing in all rooms -masseuse named "Coco" has a very strong hand! BRING HEADPHONES Well the massage was great and the person was attentive the noise from other rooms and the entrance were a bit distracting. The massage: The massage itself was wonderful, she focused on key areas that I pointed out and didn't leave the room at all until she got the hot towel. The price: $50 for one hour is a good deal, especially since the massage was so great. Noise level: While the massage was great for the price, be aware that none of the rooms have a floor to ceiling wall. The walls are open in between each room and even the entrance. During my massage I kept hearing the door open people coming in, talking from the room next to mine and it took away from the relaxing massage (which as I will say again was great, and wasn't interrupted by the person leaving) OVERALL: I gave this four stars instead of the three because I feel like perhaps this noise issue is not a problem they can solve until they get more customers to be able to put the money towards better rooms with full walls. Pretty good massage! I'm the kind of person who loves deep pressure, and I want to feel sore when I come home. Though it wasn't quite the deep pressure I wanted, but it also wasn't just a light stroke down my back. My husband likes a lighter massage and he said "8/10". The environment was very nice, the staff was respectful and kind, and I really appreciated it. They got us in on super short notice which was really great. It would be nice if they asked prior to going in where you wanted focus and how much pressure (just because I find it awkward to interrupt their process), but all in all totally worth the money. Love that they take walk-ins. Hate the pushy up-sales and language barrier which makes it difficult to understand what is being said/asked. Due to the communication barrier I was suckered into 3 different up-sales on a couples massage. I was very clear when I walked in that I didn't want any add-ons. Because of my people pleasing nature, I didn't want to hurt their feelings and say I couldn't understand a word being said. Yes the pressure was deep tissue and very good. The masseuse asked me several times if all was ok with pressure. I said no to different oils . She respected my wishes. I answered in short answers since I know English is most likely second language. I appreciate their polite answers too. I absolutely love this place and I can't recommend any special Therapist. They are all excellent. These Ladies are very petite but they give Massages like a 350 pound Man. When I leave I feel Euphoric. This Massage place isn't a resort kind of place. It doesn't have Chandeliers, Waterfalls, Robes or Chocolates. I love this place! My friend and I happened to be visiting the area and we decided to do a couple's massage room. The lighting is low and there is faint relaxing music. Today we asked for a deep tissue and the ladies did not disappoint. It was a full hour and they really got to work on my knots until they were basically gone. We don't live in the area but would definitely recommend to our friends in the area. Note: Let them know if there is an area you want them to focus on and they will work on those areas for you. My first and last time coming here. I came here hoping to relieve stress and tension so i requested the deep tissue massage. The reviews looked good so I thought wow this is a good place, boy was I wrong. The lady massaging me really sucked and didn't seem to know what she was doing. While i was getting massaged She insisted to sell me extra packages such as hot stones and herbal oil which I declined, it was annoying. Just as i thought it couldn't get any worse someone else came in the room and switched places and started massaging me. This second lady was also not good and to top it off she kept leaving me to go attend other customers coming in. I paid for a deep tissue and all they did is oil me up. I got the Thai Massage and full body scrub. The only thing I didn't like is that even though I paid for the full hour for the massage. I thought the body scrub was after that hour. Apparently not. My body was sore and I thought I would get a massage. I walked in and opted for the Swedish massage for $50. Was asked if I wanted add ons and I said no. Massage was just so so, not very much pressure. She asked me if I wanted medicine oil, I thought she meant massage oil, so I said yes. While doing the massage she asked if I wanted hot stones which a lot of places do during the massage. I said ok. Nothing was said that these were extra. When it was finished and I went to leave, I had the $50 ready for the massage and a $20 tip. When I paid the $50 I was told I have to pay $20 more for hot stones and oil. They finessed me out of $50 I went wanting a half hour massage... so I asked if they'd give me half an hour instead of an hour because I didn't want to want. So they said okay yes so half hour is $40 She starts giving me a massage and says you want hot oil it's gonna be additional $10 I'm like okay that's weird how hot oil is an additional fee but I remember seeing it in the photo so I'm like okay cool whatever... they knew I had $100 because I had extra money.... So I'm assuming they automatically figured I wouldn't mind, but I agreed on the hot oil... then I thought I was done so I get up ready to leave but she's like ohhh no we're not done so I'm hhhmm okay so I lay back down... she proceeds to put hot stones on me, me not thinking anything of it because I didn't remember what's on the menu.... Then she does lotion or whatever then after that she does cuppings.. I remember cuppings being on the menu so I'm thinking in my head what's going on she didn't ask me if I wanted it so now I'm assuming it just comes with the massage. After all is done which mind you she did a very very good job! I'm like okay I'm gonna tip her $20 and then the $10 for the hot oil... I proceed to give her the $30 and she looks at me weird so I'm like how much? She's like an extra $40. Overall, very positive experience. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the massage itself was incredible! My main disappointment came when the staff demanded I tip a certain amount when checking out. They tried to pressure me into tipping which was awkward and made me and my wife feel uncomfortable. So, just know if you go here they will expect a $10 tip per person for a 60 minute massage and $20 per person for a longer massage. This place is $20 for an hour, comparable to my usual place. I had Nessa with me, so two massages... the man handling the front desk says $42 total. I was paying with a card, so I asked is it because of that. Language barrier, he just repeated the total and said he charged $2. My assumption wasn't clarified, but I figured that was the reason since many do charge additional for using a card. It's a pass through fee depending on their bank and varies from $0.50 to about $2. Fine I won't make a fuss. My massage was okay. The guy used hot towels...nice, but forgot to wipe down my right arm. However, he did focus on my neck and shoulders and did very well trying to iron out knots. And he kept asking if it was okay whether it hurt me or not. So good; I thank you sir. Nessa's masseuse - she said the lady was mean. And also chit chatting with my masseuse in their language. Also was about to start singing... NO!!! We wanna listen to the spa music okay. For $20, you can have a full body massage (with your clothes on) - - and if you ask nicely, you can have it somewhat customized too! I always enjoy a good head/face, neck/shoulder and foot-massage...so i always ask them to focus on those areas. For this price, you cannot beat the great customer service and 60 minutes of relaxation.
