Cons: Unprofessional, not LGBTQIA+ friendly, hesitant to accept Groupon, lack of privacy, and disorganized scheduling Bought a couples massage on Groupon to surprise my girlfriend. On the phone they indicated that they only accept Groupons until 5 or 6 PM but when I stated that I wouldn't be able to make that time, the woman on the phone agreed to accommodate my request for a later time. Approximately 90 minutes before my massage, the business called to move my appointment up by 30 minutes, and I agreed, despite the inconvenience, due to them already making an exception. Upon arrival, the woman hesitated to scan our Groupon voucher, seeming to have difficulty despite my repeated offers to assist her in scrolling on my phone. Beware if you attempt to use a Groupon voucher as the establishment may be resistant to accepting it. We were taken almost immediately to a couple's room, where we had a basket to put our clothes and belongings. We felt a lack of privacy because the wall didn't touch the ceiling but both of our masseuses waited for my girlfriend and I to indicate we were ready before coming in and beginning our massage. Approximately 5 minutes into our massage, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up, and the woman from the front had entered the room, without receiving permission to do so--despite us being undressed, and requested that I move to a different room, away from my girlfriend. I indicated to her that I intentionally booked the couple's room, and that we were a couple. She stated that a husband and wife were coming in, an appointment that she completely forgot about, which led me to emphasize that my girlfriend and I were also a couple. It was implied from the woman's relentless emphasis on "husband and wife" that the couple's room was strictly reserved for heterosexual couples only. I expressed hesitation, and my masseuse emphasized that it was "a good room", despite my clear frustration. I apologized for not agreeing to her request, and she stormed off, huffing and puffing. When our masseuses went to grab the hot stones, it sounded like they were arguing in the hallway. Despite the conflict at the beginning, my girlfriend and I were impressed by the masseuses' ability to move forward and provide such high quality massages. I tipped 20% on the original cost of the service, despite the distressful and homophobic implications and actions. Upon the massage ending we were handed cups of water, and rushed out of the establishment with the door closed behind us. read more

I've had several disappointing experiences trying to redeem a Groupon at this massage business recently in the past few months. This was never and issue before. When I called to schedule an appointment for the weekend, I was told they could only accept 10 Groupon customers per weekend and that they had already reached their limit. I was also informed that they only accepted card or cash payments, which was confusing since this restriction was not clearly disclosed on Groupon. After I pointed out that these limitations were not mentioned in the Groupon listing and stated that I would be contacting Groupon about the issue, the conversation suddenly changed. I was then told that they could in fact accept the Groupon and that an appointment was available. Unfortunately, the experience became even more uncomfortable after the massage. I left a $10 tip, which I felt was appropriate, but the therapist appeared unhappy with the amount and told me, "This is no good." I found that comment unprofessional and inappropriate. Tips are voluntary, and no customer should be made to feel pressured or criticized for the amount they choose to leave. The inconsistency regarding the Groupon, combined with the uncomfortable interaction about the tip, left a negative impression. Businesses should be transparent about any restrictions, honor the terms they advertise, and treat customers respectfully regardless of whether they are using a Groupon or how much they choose to tip. At the end I looked to see that the lady in the front was waiting for me pacing back and forth to catch me. I went to the bathroom and came back to the front. Towards the front she proceeded to ask for payment again or tip. I told her that i had already payed and that tip. Was given in the room. Don't force someone to tip. The quality of choice for where on the body and how lightly the pressure would be could be selected on a diagram on the computer in the lobby which was printed out for the masseur to reference so there were no misunderstandings. The vibe was chill but professional. My experience was an 8/10 with my tech and my wife rated it a 6/10 because the finger pokes were unpleasant with her tech. We were given a little Dixie cup of water rather than hot tea after which was unusual. We are probably not going to return. read more

The main reason for the 3 stars is bc I got a groupon deal and when I called in to schedule we agreed to a time but once I told her it was a Groupon her attitude changed immediately and she then proceeded to tell Me there was no availability that day which I contested strongly but then she used her "language barrier" to her advantage and hung up on me. However, the service was conflicting for me. The person working at the front counter came off very nice and welcoming at the beginning.. then at the end of my massage she opened the door to look at me while I still had nothing on to cover the top part of my body. No bra or anything just bare to tell me to hurry up because there were other people waiting. Very unprofessional and rude. I know I didn't take that long to get into my clothes. She did great and asked me along the way what I preferred Only thing I was disappointed about was how when I went to tip, (I was going to tip 20% of the total amount I paid), the front desk lady asked "oh could you give us some more?"
