I made an appointment for a massage through text, just as I always have in the past. I confirmed my appointment and even called ahead, so everything seemed set. However, when I arrived, I was told I no longer had an appointment because I "took too long to respond." It was very frustrating and disappointing, especially after taking the time to confirm beforehand. I would be careful about purchasing gift cards or prepaying for services here if appointments may not be honored unless they're not busy. Communication and consistency with scheduling really need improvement. read more

Purchased the usual Groupon offer and made an appointment via text message. We purchased a couple massage and confirmed a 3:00pm appointment. When we arrived, the receptionist claimed we didn't have an appointment. We showed her the text exchange and she confirmed the phone number. We also showed her proof of purchasing the Groupon. At this time, she suggests that we purchase another couples treatment in store. We declined, as we had already purchased a treatment. She then called the manager and asked that we speak with them. The manager then explained that they are not accepting the Groupons because the price is different when you purchase in store.... I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of a Groupon? Furthermore, one of the staff members confirmed the appointment and it's never been an issue before. I understand the price difference, however if you offer a Groupon for customers to buy, that should be honored. If not, remove the ad/Groupon from the website. Personally I feel as though they wanted to buy a whole new service in store rather than accept what we already purchased. Needless to say, I won't be returning. So, just as a heads up, don't purchase their Groupon. It won't be accepted. read more

I would have loved it if I wouldn't be constantly hassled to get extra services during my massage. I feel like I didn't relax at all , as I was constantly being interrupted with do you want cbd oil? I said no, then here goes second and third attempt and finally just to quiet the massage person I agree. Midway massage " You want cupping?" I said no. Second attempt with a long explanation of why I should get cupping, I said No the second time , the final no that was accepted was the third time. Then came the foot massage at $20 dollars more . This is definitely my first and last time I ever come here. I've been to other massage places that do not hustle as they do here and I come out extremely relaxed. Pretty solid massage place. Came here on a weekday afternoon and they were able to take me in right away. The massage was fine - even though I indicated deep tissue instead of Swedish (which costs $5 more), they didn't really get my knots out. But the massage was nice since it came with a quick 2 minute body scrub near the end of the massage (they use hot towels to get off the scrub). My main issue with this place is logistics -- over the phone I told them no hot stones and she I got there I again said no hot stones (this was after they couldn't find my appointment after a few times of looking up my number). But during my massage they ended up doing hot stones before I reminded them again not to. During the massage, they asked me if I wanted CBD oil without a price, and before the massage she said a membership was cheaper than a regular massage. They also charged $2 for using a card without indicating it over the phone initially when I called to ask about prices and also again did not show that fee on their price list. read more

Super nice people. Their booking system is a little off and their new number isn't the new number. This is a little different. It is literally "feet" only. Unlike when foot massages first came out and you get a fully body massage. Nope. You are laying down and the bucket is on the lounger and you soak with knees bent on the bed. If the pressure was better then I would have no issues with just feet only but it was an hour of soft strokes. Yes they do try to sell but the prices aren't bad. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Honestly, I'm really impressed with this business. Every single masseuse is extremely talented. I get a 90 min deep tissue massage, and what I like most about this place is how easy it is to book and they almost always have availability for the time frame you want, even last minute. If you get headaches and massage helps relieve them, this is a great place to start frequenting because they can accommodate you same day, up to same hour even. Their website is easy to navigate and they give you a birthday reward! I got a birthday reward after only 1 visit. I've since been back several times. They also have the bars for shiatsu massage! I decided to try this place because of all the great reviews and the hype surrounding it, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. From the moment my spouse and I entered the "private" massage room, things felt rushed. We were given what felt like only a minute to get undressed before a staff member opened the curtain while I was still changing. Throughout the appointment, people were constantly walking by, and because the curtains don't fully close, there was little to no privacy. I also found it impossible to relax because my massage therapist repeatedly interrupted the massage to ask if I wanted to purchase add-on services, even after I had already declined several times. The rooms are not fully enclosed, so you can hear conversations from other guests and staff the entire time, which completely takes away from the relaxing atmosphere. What made me the most uncomfortable was that my massage therapist pulled my underwear down so low that nearly half of my buttocks were exposed. Since my spouse was receiving a massage in the same room from a male therapist, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable. At one point, my therapist also left the room to get hot stones and towels, leaving me uncovered while the curtain remained wide open. When the massage ended, I began getting dressed, but my therapist stood right outside the curtain where she could see me changing because, again, there was no real privacy. As my spouse and I were leaving, my therapist followed us to the front desk, spoke to the receptionist in another language, and then the receptionist asked if we would like to leave a tip. Having my therapist follow us out and essentially ask for a tip felt very awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, this was not the relaxing experience I expected. The lack of privacy, constant interruptions, and uncomfortable situations throughout the appointment made me wish I had left halfway through. I will not be returning and would not recommend this spa to anyone looking for a private, relaxing massage experience. read more

I was feeling a lot of foot pain from a day of wearing heels and walked in for a foot massage. It was overall a decent massage, but I wish they used a little more pressure -- about half the time it felt like the massage therapist was just sweeping her hands over my feet. But I did notice that my foot pain was significantly reduced, and that it took less time for my feet to feel back to normal. The massage therapist continuously asked me if I wanted a full body massage instead, even though I said I only wanted a foot massage. The owner at this local super attentive and had amazing and wonderful customer skills and phone etiquette too! I called to redeem a Groupon offer and he was able to price match it. For a 1hr massage I paid $56 dollars. He gave me a small gratuity discount though. I had to reschedule my appointment and the male (owner) he was willing to help me and he rescheduled my appointment. However, the massage therapist named Cici offered me additional services by trying to persuade me to pay an additional $10 extra for CBD oil and $20 extra for cupping. I kindly declined to both additional purchase offers. At checkout the women (massage therapist at the cash register) they tried to over charge me. I had previously mentioned to the massage therapist that I was redeeming a Groupon offer and that I had already paid it in full. I had gotten a receipt from the owner a previously days prior to my rescheduled appointment. Gratuity are expected and required and they have their own chart located on the cashier counter/desk area. I decided to go to this massage and spa for the first time based off of the reviews. I made an appointment for a 90 minute Swedish massage. The massage that I received was for 60 mins, and I was still charged for a 90 minute massage. The lady that charged me knew what she was doing. She even asked me if I wanted a 90 min massage. I told her yes. Once I got home I realized they charged my card an extra $35 for some reason. So I was charged $90 for a 60 min massage, and an extra random $35 charge. They will also charge you $2 extra just to use your debit card. Also some areas on my back were painful. I let the massage therapist know that it was kinda painful. So glad I found this little place in riverside while I'm visiting from Seattle. I just finished a long convention, walking around all day. I was in so much pain, and while visiting family for a few days I decided to search for a Chinese foot massage place. I've been all over trying out different foot places. Washington, NorCal, SoCal, Florida, Canada, etc...So I'm pretty picky. Since it was a Monday, they were not busy late afternoon. They took me right in. I had the combo foot, back massage. In case you readers have not experienced it. First you soak your feet in warm water, then the hall massage my head, sinus areas, scalp, neck. Then she would dry off feet, then massage feet and legs. My knee was killing me and I limped in. So gal noticed, and I made sure she knew I was in pain. I don't remember much about the feet and legs because I was snoring most of the time hahaha. Then she turned me over, and really stretched my back, loosened my neck and shoulders, worked on my lower back, then legs again. She tried stretching my leg but gentle with the knee the hurt. When I got up to pay, my knee was getting good. Ai since I was relaxed, and stretched, I decided to visit a chiropractor nearby, they took me in, got adjusted with no problem. I think getting this for massage for only 40.00 for an hour was well worth it. So I have her more than 40% tip. read more

The BEST massage place on earth! I'm 54 years old, been athletic all my life but in the past couple of years, due to a lot of stress, I felt my body has started breaking down. Started going to this place 4 weeks ago for a weekly massage and I already feel 80% better! That's a huge progress considering the past two years have been a living nightmare living with constant body pain and stiffness. None of the doctors I went to see helped. One of the orthopedist told me the pain is from old age. I wanted to slap the ish out of her! Physiotherapy helped but the pain would return the next day. This place is the only place which I can honestly say, gave me my life back (thanks to Serena, my masseuse)! I even started running again every morning, for approximately 5 miles.
