Very bad experience with a male masseuse who groped me. After 20 mins of feeling uncomfortable. He spent extra extra time working on my butt and when rubbing my back would make sure to catch feels of my breast from the sides. (I've had manyyy massages and know what's normal) this was not. I asked for a female masseuse and the young lady at the front said there were no women available for 2 hours. I said okay because I wasn't sure if I was maybe overthinking it (I've had many massages w male masseuses and no problem ever) after 20 more minutes I knew I was very uncomfortable and said I'll just end it and accept a partial refund for the time. Now all of a sudden a female was available and I didn't accept. I told the girl in the front about it but that was it. Not sure if the apathetic response was a culture difference so I just let it go. First time trying this place tonight. I felt like for the price, it was extremely fair. I called and they did a same day appt, essentially a walk in. I think the guy who did my massage did a really good job. He kept checking in making sure everything was good pressure wise and temperature wise. I did the combo massage because it came with hot stones. It was actually my first hot stone experience and it was really good, definitely recommend giving it a try! The combo is nice for more of a full body and a good emphasis on your feet. I guess I found it a little silly that halfway through he tried to sell a little lotion. No problems there but maybe for after the massage lol. I also felt like the place could be a little quieter. I definitely get that a lot of noise is out of their control, just generally speaking some of it could be a bit quieter. Prices are up to date as of 9/15/23. I have been going here to Foot Reflexology for the past six years and I go here very often once or twice a month and I always get the 90 minute combo massage and what I really like about it is you can get 90 minute massage for a good price!! I have gotten massages from Jennifer and yo-yo and both I recommend if you like medium pressure massage. I normally call an hour or two before to schedule an appointment because they do get pretty booked up especially on weekends. what I don't like about the place is the door is very loud and when it opens, the customers are talking very loudly and they don't really consider that they are in a massage place so it ruins the moment and the massage. the music isn't that loud so you can hear everything. and sometimes they don't even play any spa music so we can hear a lot of conversations. I also don't really like that There is not really a lot of privacy for each of the massage beds and when they say to take off your top and everything it makes me just a little uncomfortable, but they try their best to cover you with the blanket. I was pregnant when I got a few of the massages and they were very considerate to lift up the head instead of me laying flat. at the end of the session, they always offer a cup of water or a cup of tea, which is very nice ! read more

My friend and I came in on a Friday afternoon with no appointment, and we were both able to get a one hour massage in a private room with only a 15-minute wait. I am happy to report that BOTH our massages were fantastic. The pressure used was perfect. The people massaging us really knew what they were doing and hit all the spots. Place used to be great, last few visits have been disappointing, rushed massage, chatting amongst themselves, stones burn your back, not to mention they take off and leave you there for more than 10 minutes each time they need to retrieve anything or to reposition themselves. This last massage about a week and a half ago felt like I was just getting lotion rubbed on my skin, no pressure or massaging at all, even after asking several times for deeper pressure and I'm only 5"1 135lbs. It used to be so tranquil and serene for me until the BARBER SHOP moved in and started blasting their music so loud. I think it's straight disregard and total disrespectful not considering that those other businesses have been there for a long time only to have someone inconsiderate ruined their relaxation time. I've been to this place many times and have been happy with the 1 hour massage for $40. However, today after the massage in my attempt to tip the masseuse he took me over to a sign indicating what tip should be given if you "like" the massage ($10) and if you "love" it the amount ($20). In relevance to the amount of the massage the $10 is a 25% tip and the $20 is a 50% tip, which is ridiculous. But even more ridiculous was to demand a tip. You have lost a customer. read more

My favorite place to get a massage. The prices are very reasonable. Make sure you specify what you want. I've been coming for years. It's changed but it's still a great place to get a a massage combo is the best option. They soak your feet in water make sure to let them know how you want your water before you sit down. Disappointing: I came here because I read the good reviews and wanted to sort out a stiff neck. I've been to a lot of Chinese reflexology places all over California so it wasn't a new experience terms of the open layout or the process. I requested a 90 min massage and laid down. The massage started out normal but the pressure was very light. I thought, "OK, maybe she just doesn't want to start out too rough." So I asked for more pressure. She said she'd "try". Result: Absolutely no change in pressure. So after another 10 mins of her basically just rubbing lotion on my body. I asked for more pressure again. She replied that she was a female so she couldn't provide more pressure and that next time I should request a male masseuse. Seeing as how I've had female Chinese reflexology masseuses that have almost made me yell out in pain, that was a inadequate excuse. So I told her I no longer wanted a 90 min, I now only wanted a 60 min and I wanted a male masseuse. She replied with they were all busy. At that point, I was done. She went and got the manager who asked if I wanted a male masseuse?! Wait so they're not all busy? I told her this was not good enough and ended the massage. She still charged me for a 40 min massage even though I had only been there for 30. Told me next time I should request a male and promised me it would be better. Bought my mother a massage for her birthday. She had Thomas as her Masseuse for an 1hr and 30 minute massage. My mom struggles with a lot of pain constantly from years of nursing/work. I recently came back. I understand the pandemic and inflation so I knew it wasn't going to be the $25 deal. I was offered the 1hr for $50 and it was supposed to be in a private room. The "private room" was nothing more than a current. You could hear the phones ring, then talking to each other and laughing. It wasn't relaxing. The girl I had kept sniffling which was gross. You can pay $60 and go to a real massage parlor with an actual private room. So for them to charge as much as they do now, they need to step up their game. I won't be returning. read more

I went with the 40 min head, shoulder, foot massage and it didn't disappoint. The ambiance is nice with dim lighting and music playing softly. I usually struggle to relax and clear my head but they have the magic touch...literally! The massage was just the right amount of pressure and left me feeling very relaxed and renewed. We both got a full body and I didn't feel ticklish AT ALL!!!! They used their arms like rollers on your back and it felt soooo good! This is an an open room foot massage. The massage itself was ok. The price was great. The atmosphere was decent. I had a foot and shoulder massage. The pressure was too much, even after saying that I wanted it to be lighter which made for a slightly uncomfortable experience. However, that is a massage therapist issue, not a issue with the clinic. Oh..and this is not reflexology at least not what I received but whatever... If I were in the area again, I would definitely try it again, but I would request a highly requested therapist and make sure before it began I was clear about pressure. Fantastic massage. Daughter and I walked in on a Friday evening and were able to get in within 20 minutes. The man who massaged me found all my sore areas and worked them. Left feeling so much better. Daughter and I were both a little sore for a few days, but I have never had a good massage that didn't. Like another reviewer mentioned, ladies wear a cami or a tank and be aware they will unhook your bra to massage your back. This is in the common room. My wife and I went here a few days ago and had some nice massages and were planning on coming back until we realized that the guy that was the receptionist that afternoon stole my debit card information and attempted to make some unauthorized purchases that evening. I gave him my card to pay for the massages and he put it in his machine but then said it wasn't working and I had to get some money from the Wells Fargo ATM near the business. It's interesting that they have a sign that says "cash only" at their establishment although they do have a card reader machine and everyone else there was paying cash. Perhaps this is a known problem? Either way, we won't be returning. I hope you understand that theft hurts your business. We were planning on returning since the massage was nice and the prices are reasonable but not now. Yes you take off ur shirt so take a tank top so it's easier if you don't want to remove your top they can un-hook ur bra from underneath your top. Simple .. just relax and enjoy , isn't that what 90% of us women do when we get home anyways? Bra off and relax! PLEASE TURN OFF YOR CELLPHONE don't ruin it for the rest when your phone is ringing and they are getting their massage. DONT go too late, imagine working retail and it's been a long day, you have 1 hr left til closing and that ONE customer walks in.. they are human, they've been using body strength all day, if you got late just don't expect quality massage, they are tired (I've noticed after going a lot , best quality is earlier in the day) TIP your person , they earned it! Great place if you need a massage fix but don't want/need the full spa experience. You do get a full body massage. It is in a communal room. They do ask that you take your top off (women keep bras on, though make sure it's the kind that unhooks in back) to be able to use lotion during your back massage -- they do a reasonable job of draping for privacy. Wear shorts or pants that can roll up. They start with you lying face up and your feet in a hot water soak, you get a face/head/upper body massage, then they get you out of the foot soak and massage your legs and feet, then you flip over and get a back massage. They add in a couple of thai-massage-style leg and back stretches at the end. The massage has been pretty consistent in quality every time I've gone. I like firm pressure and I'd rate them medium-to-firm. I have fallen asleep during the foot massage portion :) (and often hear snoring from others). The price is a little cheaper than the places I've been to in SD, can't speak for LA prices, but honestly, it's an hour massage for $25...not bad at all if you know what you're getting. They take credit card but add a dollar fee. Don't forget cash for tip. There's a pretty convenient Wells Fargo ATM just outside. read more

My husband and I have been going to this place about 7 times a year for 4ish years. It's consistent service & a great price for what it is. I enjoy full body massages, but if you're not willing to pay $150+ this is a great alternative. If you've never been to a foot reflexology place before it can be pretty intimidating. It's a dimly lit open floor plan with tons of bed/chairs and people with their tops off (covered by sheets). The masseuses are very nice & try to keep you as modest as possible. 9/10 there's a language barrier, but there's really no reason to talk to your person unless you need less or more pressure. In my experience, if there's a message that it not understood they will grab the front desk person for translation. Mike has done my last few massages and I really enjoy his work. He recognized areas that need more attention & tries to work them out and also picks up on areas I am wayyyyyy too ticklish and modifies his routine. I read some reviews about them not switching out towels, and I tried to pay attention to whether or not that happened, but I was too relaxed to be preoccupied with that. I have also read some reviews saying their person smells like cigarettes.. that has happened but only 1x. I would recommend this place! read more

I will start out that the foot massage are good here but not the best (I've been to 20+ places). For the price, it's overpriced as most foot massages charge $15 to $20 normally. The only way you can get this discount is to buy 5 ahead of time for $100 and you'll get the price at normal rate. Otherwise, you're paying a high price at $25. I've been here 5+ times and overall, I've gotten satisfactory to good massages. The other issue here is the owner and another associate who mans the front desk aren't the nicest. I would like to like the owner but at times he seems mean to the workers. The other associate was really rude to us (as customers) and I did't feel welcomed. We're on the search for another place that's nicer and won't charge us first (shows how profit driven they are vs all the other places I've gone to that charge AFTER the massage so I can add tip, otherwise you get charged twice and have to pay the $1 fee additional each time). read more
