I had previously gone to urgent care where I was made to feel like I was overreacting and that my toe wasn't broken. When the podiatrist saw me, he immediately looked at it and said it was broken and that he could get it back into place. He was very kind, explained everything clearly, numbed my toe first, and reset it during the visit. I really appreciated how efficient and compassionate he was. I walked in feeling stressed and in a lot of pain and left feeling taken care of and confident my toe was properly treated. Highly recommend!

He will take one step at a time to make sure all grounds are covered before moving to the next step in a procedure or recovery. He listens well. I have pushed to get this to happen and he just tell me to write up something and give it to the girls at the desk to sign. I don't like that. Saw another great review on yelp and set an appointment. As the other review noted, Dr. Durrant is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He patiently examined and discussed my foot issues, then treated the wart and prescribed a stronger anti-fungal, as well as offering a variety of tips for preventing the return of athlete's foot. Incredibly satisfied with the treatment and his attention to detail. The only downside, which the other review also warned, is the wait time. My first appointment (afternoon) was over an hour later than scheduled, and my second appointment (morning) was 30 minutes after scheduled. One other person in the waiting room actually rescheduled his appointment because he'd been waiting so long, and his schedule couldn't permit such a delay. Still, the staff were kind and accommodating despite their delays, and the fellow seemed relatively understanding despite the inconvenience. Overall a fantastic doctor, just allow extra wait time.

The overall cost of the treatment was $800+ with me having to pay a little more than half of it. I've started being serviced since late July and now nearing the end of October. Nothing has changed with the pain I'm having. I have no complaints but merely concerns about non-transparent (or deceptive) practices. What makes me give this a 3 star instead of a 4 or 5 star was the billing department. During the call to pay my bill, I mentioned to the billing department I didn't know where my bill was, therefore I might have lost it. Then the person immediately quotes me for a higher price of ~$300 than what was billed and she was ready to take my payment. After I told her I found the bill, she proceeds to change the price to ~$200. She then tries to cover up the price inflation as a system issue... as if the price was memoized/cached under the architecture of the software. I paid the bill. If you have full and complete healthcare coverage, by all means go to this doctor. She is wonderful and a dear to her patients. I strongly do not recommend going here if you're paying some of it out of pocket.
