Not very inviting when you arrive. They just ask if you have an appointment. Then your ushered into a room. We were doing a couples massage so we waited and they told us to uundress and get under sheets. They come back again no greetings so I had to tell them to go easy. When they were massaging they are very talented, but the music is nice until the commercials comes on and my massage was interrupted twice because someone came to the front door. Our massage was 45 minutes and they didn't even finish my partners massage. No notice that it's over they just turn light on and exit quickly. When we were leaving no one in front to leave a tip or say goodbye or come again. Will never be back. read more

Went last night for a 60 minute Swedish massage. You really do get what you pay for. The bed squeaked the entire time, the headrest was awful. To top it off I was given a student who was interning. I understand everyone has to start somewhere but you should be notified and given the option to have someone licensed. The massage was also not 60 minutes, more like 45. I would not recommend. read more

I am new to the area and trying out different massage places until I find *my place* and the hunt is over! I came in for a quick 30 min massage to address shoulder knots. My massage therapist focused on knots and worked them out. The pressure was perfect, the bed was heated, everything was clean. I am not sharing the massage therapists name because I am greedy and don't want her to be busy next time I come in Unfortunately I have had a really bad experience here since my original post. I bought myself my first ever 90 minute massage. I needed it! Sadly, Like many have said in the past couple of months, I received a massage that was FULL of oil (3 hair washes and my hair is still loaded with oil). The massage was unorganized, asymmetrical, and lacked pressure. I called to inform management about my experience and was promised a discount on a future massage which never came. This is a huge bummer because I used to love this place... read more

Not my cup of tea...... In my opinion, not professional, only rubbing, and a little bit too handsy....... read more

I have been here about four times. All great experiences. Today though I had a therapist I haven't had before. Cici was amazing! She is gifted! I have sacroiliac joint dysfunction in my back as well as nerve damage in my wrist and arm. My neck was also sore. I did a 90 min. with added hot stone and cbd cream. It was one of the best massages I've had. I highly recommend Towngate Massage! read more

Decided to treat myself to a massage for my birthday. After some failed attempts to book other places, I figured I would give them a try. They were able to fit me in the same day (within 30 minutes actually). The place is clean, has ambient lighting and relaxing music. It looked like each room has a locking cabinet for you to store your clothes and personal items as well. My massage with great. Just the right pressure and not too soft. I think it's perfectly fine to let your masseuse know what you like. The only thing kind of weird is that the walls to each room don't go all the way up to the ceiling so you can kinda hear if anything is going on out in the hall or lobby. I would say this place is right in the middle of communal massage rooms and high end day spa. read more

This is my favorite massage place. It's clean with a very relaxing ambiance. I prefer the ladies who do the massages. Good amount of pressure without any pain. read more

Really nice staff! Great pricing! And everyone was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was also very clean

Very clean and relaxing. My massage was the best I've had. My massage was done by CeCe. I'll be back!

WAY too light - not real Swedish Massage would go from feet to leg/body etc with the oil and even when wiping off with the towel. Unsanitary Booked a 2 hour couples massage. Called ahead to confirm. Arrived on time and waited 10 minutes without a soul in sight wondering if they were even open. They rushed us back and I never got to ask for the two add ons we wanted. They accommodated me being pregnant but I figured the masseuse's light hands was because she was being gentle because I was pregnant but then found my husband had as bad of a time. (Actually worse since his masseuse kept kicking the table and wacking his head alongside the light oil rub down ) We are in our 30's not 90's! We don't bruise easy, give a little pressure! DANG My masseuse's touch was lighter than how I put on lotion! I get Swedish massage uses light touches but this was like tickling and not an ounce of pressure was used anywhere. There was ZERO attention to my hands, feet or face when other Swedish massages have. So disappointed I was on my side the whole time so she would move the oils around the upper arm and awkwardly the lower arm. Nothing was symmetrical as far as attention to body parts and similar movements etc. All I could think the whole time was this masseuse makes my amateur massages seem like I'm the trained professional! Also you can hear other people walking around with grippy shoes and creaking floor boards. Next time we'll just go to a $40 hour Thai massage where you keep your clothes on. They at least apply pressure and stretch you etc. read more

This is hands down the best massage parlor in Moreno Valley! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, most of all very diverse and knowledgeable about a variety of massage styles and techniques. Cici is absolutely amazing! She is focused on pressure request and problem areas. Other places seem to have repetitive routines but here they cater to your problematic areas and you end up feeling brand new! Beautiful atmosphere and decor also, highly recommend! read more

Booked a massage with Towngate Massage yesterday evening. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment and within a few minutes I was shown to a massage room. As it was my first experience with this business, I elected to receive the 45 minute massage with no add ons. The masseuse did a really thorough job with the full body massage. My back back and my feet are forever grateful. It would have been nice to have a quick consultation before the massage, so I could have explained what my issues were and they could determine what type of massage would be the most beneficial for me. I will patronize them again, but next time I'll let them know what my problem areas are and hopefully those areas ( shoulder and neck) will get more attention. read more

My 1st time here. This place was spa like, and super clean. Reminded me of Massage Envy. I received a 120 minute massage; with hot stones and cupping. Jovan has the most magical massaging hands. He was very professional. And I'm so glad he was able to completely understand my communication. A first for me. This will be my main consistent massage spot close to home. read more

Really loved my massage! The place is very clean and my masseuse was very professional. I got a deep tissue massage, and I specifically asked her to work on tight my shoulders. Very pleased and very sore (in a good way). I would come back again :) read more

I'm satisfied every time I leave here. I usually get Stevan and he switches up the massage whenever I go which I like. Prices are comparable to other massage places and it's a clean relaxing environment. They take cash, card and spa finder gift certificates. I always tip in cash. read more

Got the 90 minute massage it was amazing!! They have great prices too! I felt so relaxed after can't wait to go back

The massage and the place it self were nice, soothing and good. My wife says we are making a habit of getting a massage every month. She felt asleep during the massage from how good it was she told me. However, the people that gave us the massage did not ask us what type of massage we wanted, where they should focus, or how much strength to use. For her it was perfect, for me, it was good, but I require stronger pressure due to lower back pain. read more

I feel like the masseuse was not trained on massage therapy. I didn't receive a massage, all I got was an oiled rub down by a lady who seemed like she was in a bad mood because she kept hitting my head while trying to massage my neck or back. Then while moving around the massage table she kept kicking the legs which jarred the table I was trying to relax on. Would not recommend if you're actually trying to pay for a real massage. read more

My husband booked me a massage here on my birthday so I decided to book him one as an early Father's Day gift for the same time. We arrived on time and were taken to the couples massage room. When we laid down we both discovered the head rests were wobbly and moved constantly. When the massage therapists came into the room neither of us were asked about what pressure we liked and there was no confirmation as to the style of massage we wanted or what areas we may want them to focus on. I am a light to medium pressure person and have been getting swedish massages at many places over the years but I was never asked. 5 minutes into the massage my husband's therapist walked out, she stayed gone for 10 minutes before a male walked in and told my husband his therapist would be unavailable for about 30 minutes because he had a family emergency so she was going to be busy. This is completely unacceptable. My husband told him he would just cancel and he left while I was still getting my massage. To say that my massage was anything but relaxing would be an understatement, so much pressure was being used that I had tears in my eyes, my therapist climbed on top of me multiple times and dug her knees into me. This was unlike any massage I have ever had in my life and I am in a huge amount of pain now. I laid there with tears in my eyes writing this review in my head almost the entire massage. I was never checked on, I was never asked how the pressure was. My husband paid for the hot stone add on for my massage and that wasn't done, no discount was given for the inconvenience of his massage being interrupted and stopped 5 minutes in. I will never be back and will share my experience with others. This was a birthday gift and I'm now going to be spending the rest of my birthday in pain. Please don't spend money here. read more

They do call to your home. Awesome massage they take their time to do it right and work on the areas where you need the most

Oh my gaahhh! I love this place. As soon as you walk in, the smell of essential oils greets you. Phoebe did my massage and her hands are a gift from above! Wow! Stephen is a miracle worker! Always have had positive experiences, especially as an avid gym goer I occasionally get knots and these therapists are excellent with the deep tissue massages. Most places just hack away at your body, but these therapists genuinely care and check to see if the pressure or pain is going passed your threshold read more

This is by far the best massage place I've ever been to. I've come twice, each time I walked in there in serious pain in my lower back and I walked out feeling amazing. You can tell that their staff really knows the human body and they know different pressure points. I tell them where I'm hitting and they spend a good deal of time focused on that area along with still doing a complete full body massage. I got the 90 minute session and I added hot stones and cbd cream which is amazing. This is my favorite spot and I'll be coming back again for sure read more

I'm not going to lie and I don't like leaving bad reviews but the massage I received from here brings me weird flashbacks. My masseuse was a guy and he made awkward moaning noises throughout the duration of my 1 hour Swedish massage. Towngate Massage - Owners message after leaving an honest review. Good job on your customer service skills Phoebe! - Massage Therapy Near Me - Moreno Valley, California

I had an appointment booked for a couple's massage at 9 am this morning as a birthday present. The appointment was booked last week and over the phone with a live person. We show up a little before 9 but wait until 9 to go in. The door is locked. We call them and, what I assume is the owner, sleepily answers. I let her know we are here and she says "who?". She makes it clear she isn't here and instead of apologizing, she just keeps saying "oh oh oh". After a minute, she actually tries to say "let me see if I can get someone here." At that point, I hang up. Get "someone" here to do a couple's massage? Like 1 hand per person? It is hard to believe this place has a 4 star review after that. Who just no-shows for a scheduled appointment? Avoid the headache of having this happen to you. Go somewhere professional. read more

Had a perfect couples massage! The staff are extremely professional. They followed our directions, in terms of pressure, very well. My dad also loves this place, he has arthritis and back pains and the staff at Towngate massage knows exactly how to facilitate his massage, giving him much needed relief. I highly recommend this place for a affordable massage, and great experience. read more
