i had a very disappointing experience with my 60-minute massage. i have had many massages over the years, including in different countries, so i understand that every massage therapist has a different style. however, this was the worst massage experience i have ever had. the session did not feel smooth, intentional, or relaxing. there were many pauses throughout the massage, and it felt like the therapist was unsure of what to do next. instead of being able to relax and let go, i felt uncomfortable and distracted the entire time. i kept waiting for the massage to improve, but it never really did. i later found out that the massage therapist is new, and i do understand that everyone has to begin somewhere. i do not want to be unkind, but i also want to be honest. in my opinion, she is not ready to work independently with paying customers yet. a massage involves trust, comfort, and the customer's money, and this experience did not feel professional or worth the cost. i left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and regretful that i did not get her name before leaving. i was hoping to leave refreshed and relaxed, but instead i left feeling like i had wasted both my time and money. i truly hope she receives more training and support before being assigned to clients on her own. read more

Unfortunately I was not impressed. The massage therapist was not good. Very little manipulative movements. Her pressure was fine. She used minimal lotion. She also ended about 10 minutes early. When asked about my massage, I stated it was subpar and not the full length. I was told they have other massage therapist and I was early, so she started early. Unfortunately, I looked at the clock before she entered and when she concluded. Not how I would have treated an unhappy first time client. The place is clean, smells like rose and potpourri, if you care for the smell. read more

Not a good massage place. I was very disappointed with the overall experience. It was a waste of my money. The massage wasn't relaxing at all. The music in the room was too loud & the fan was very noisy. Another incident, I was 15 mins late in my way to their place because of traffic so I called before my appointment to let them know and they said it's fine. My massage was cut off by 15 minutes & when I asked why they said because I showed up 15 mins late. They're dishonest & unprofessional. I will never go back & do business with them again. read more

I tried this place out because they were affiliated with a chiropractor and had decent reviews. What I found was very mediocre service and knowledge. I kept on having to tell her to stop doing this like she kept on massaging the same ankle area and it hurt. It was the first 90 minute massage where I did not feel adequately relaxed to fall asleep. The music was not to my liking so I asked her to change the music but she said it was connected to the rest of the building? The place was filled with a very strong flowery scent which gave me a headache. If they wanted something relaxing then they should consider lavender? I left the place feeling not relaxed but more pain. I would not go back there. read more

My wife originally found this place with a Groupon purchase. We had tried one other massage place from Groupon in Corona on Hamner that was terrible! So we were a bit apprehensive about this place. But to our complete satisfaction, this place was fantastic. We each had a one hour massage at a great rate. I left there feeling suprised, releived and relaxed. We ened up going back a couple weeks later with the same amazing service. Great place for a great massage at a VERY resonable price. Do not let the look of the location deter you. I thought we might be walking into a, well, lets just say, not so reputable massage parlors. But I was way wrong. Looks a bit shady but is super professional and welcoming service. One suggestion: When they take you to your room, ask for a towel. Once they are done, you are left a bit oily and they don't give you a towel to wipe down with afterward. read more

When I received a massage the therapist kept stopping and checking her phone and never felt like I received a massage more like petting for an hour. I cancelled my membership and they continued to charge me. When I called them to reimburse the charge they said they could not, yet they billed me a week early. When the owner checked the chart and realized they were wrong for billing me early and not cancelling my membership, I received a sorry. Poor customer service in my opinion. I have been to many massage therapists as I carry all of my stress in my neck and shoulders. When I find an amazing place, I stick with them. I have seen both Alyssa and Elena for massage therapy and both are amazing. My regular therapist is Alyssa and she does a wonderful job at focusing on my needs, which usually involves working on my knots. She does deep tissue and I always feel more relaxed and less tight than before I go in. The atmosphere and environment is cute and calming. I would have to say that after many years of getting massage therapy with varying results, I have received none better than at Renaissance Therapeutic Massage. First of all, the interior of the spa is calming and inviting -- peacefully artistic. They really make an effort to take you away from the rushing around of your day to a place of comfort and relaxation. Elena, in particular, provided the best massage I've ever had. She rendered the perfect balance of consistently smooth, firm pressure -- Truly amazing! At some places, even when you get the 90-minute massage (which I highly recommend here), you feel as if each body part is getting marked off a checklist so they can move on to the next one. That is not the case here. Everything is incorporated for complete rejuvenation and healing. This was one of those massages that really stays with you. I have tension in the typical areas of shoulders/neck and lower back. As I was walking around later in the day, I continued to notice how my shoulders felt light. What a wonderful experience!
