They had me at the first room by the front with curtain as a door. When he was massaging my backside, I kept hearing this faint voice like someone was watching a show, every time he is close to my head I can hear it and he has this weird breathing like he was gasping for air or like a panting thirsty dog. I couldn't relax. That's when I looked up and see that he didn't even close the curtains, I asked him why didn't he close it ? He says because there's nobody there. Is not that nobody is there, is the consistent thought of no privacy and the feeling that someone could look in any time. So I asked him to close it. Why pay more for privacy when they don't even close the curtains ? And those little voices are the iPod he has in his ear, he was listening to some show for the 40 minutes when he was massaging me, he wasn't even concentrating. And his knuckles were rough like sand paper when he was massaging my back, it was horrible. For a medium build like Peter, he has boney forearms, when he was using one arm to roll up and down my back rib cage, it hurts. The whole 90 minutes was a waste of time and money, he's not good. His pressure is hard on one side but soft on the other side, is not consistent. He also burned me with the hot stones, he left it on the back of my calves and it got burned. Maybe he forgot he left it there when he was so into his show ? After it was over, he waited in the front with a tiny cup of cold water, the cup you get at the doctor's office when they give you a pill, that's how small the cup is lol. I gave him $30 tips because I feel bad for him, because when I was waiting at the front before the massage, 3 big African American ladies only tipped him $5, waves it to him like he's a $5 stripper, that was so wrong. Seriously ladies ? $5 tips for 90 minutes massage? Are you at a restaurant ? Is one on one, 90 minutes of kneading your fat azz. Is hard work. For an hour of good work is $10-$20 per hour tips, not the 20 %, y'all so used to. If you can't afford to tip at least $10 an hour, stay home. Do you think he's getting that $50 per hour massage ? Of course not, that's for the owner, they work for tips. $5 is not going to feed their family, and you can't even get a Happy Meal at McDonald's. Tip them well when they do a good job, don't be like those 3 ladies, CHEAP. I was there at 7/12 @ 4:25 pm. You 3 big ladies was leaving and I'm the guy that said "wow busy ". Yeah I called you CHEAP lol Good luck to the rest of y'all coming here. And the young lady in the front with the streak green hair, smile a little, it makes the customers feel welcome to your store.

I tried my best looking for a local place closer to Riverside. I tried multiple Hydro Colon Therapist and was about to give up and continue driving to San Diego. Then one day I saw a Groupon for "Healing Ways Spa," I called the number and had a very knowledgeable conversation with Terry, the therapist. When I met Terry she was very welcoming and by far I've had my best Hydro Colon Therapy sessions with Terry and I've been getting these treatments for almost 20 years now. Just know, no matter how amazing the HC therapist is, you may not always release on your first session. Hence why I NEVER "JUST DO ONE." I always do a series of 3 as back to back as possible and I've had my best sessions when I've been juicing for at least 3 days prior to my session and continue to juice while I'm going through my series. Terry can explain this in-depth. Most of all, relax, release, and rejoice that you are now fully loving your body from the inside out . The woman at the front told me she would "maybe be leaving early" because she had "stuff to do." She said you normally pay after but I would be paying before. Worst case scenario, I was racially profiled and made to pay early. Less worst case scenario, I was still treated differently than normal and as a first time guest. I wasn't offered any refreshments or anything. I stuck it out because my boyfriend put thought into it, but the experience was ruined before it even started for me. I hoped the massage would make up for it...it didn't. My door was left open which is weird considering I had no clothes on and the massage was just alright. Once completed, the masseuse left the room with my door open again for me to have to get up nearly naked to close it so I could get dressed. I turned on the lights to see the satin pillow topper that was removed once I turned from lying on my stomach to my back during the massage was on the floor. I quickly got dressed and made my way to the exit where a choir of employees started the "excuse me, excuse me!" chant as if I was running out without paying. However, when I arrived, I was told I no longer had an appointment because I "took too long to respond." It was very frustrating and disappointing, especially after taking the time to confirm beforehand. I would be careful about purchasing gift cards or prepaying for services here if appointments may not be honored unless they're not busy. Communication and consistency with scheduling really need improvement.
