(I've had manyyy massages and know what's normal) this was not. I asked for a female masseuse and the young lady at the front said there were no women available for 2 hours. I said okay because I wasn't sure if I was maybe overthinking it (I've had many massages w male masseuses and no problem ever) after 20 more minutes I knew I was very uncomfortable and said I'll just end it and accept a partial refund for the time. Now all of a sudden a female was available and I didn't accept. I told the girl in the front about it but that was it. Not sure if the apathetic response was a culture difference so I just let it go. From some near rancho cucamonga to west covina/pomona and ontario, but this one remains one of the best one and it happens to be closest to home. The masseuses are mostly female from what I've seen and they speak Chinese and english! They let you choose what pressure you want from light, medium, and hard. Of course you can ask for more or less strength during the massage and they encourage it! They checked in on me during the massage to see if I was okay with the pressure and despite it being abit too hard i loved it because i wanted to become a flexible noodle afterwards so i asked them to carry on and they did. My bf got medium and thought it was the perfect amount of pressure BUT he wished they focused on his legs more than his back. So after the AMAZING session we asked if it's possible next time to request to focus on one part more than the other and they said YES OFC! Enthusiastically. We gave a decent tip and became loyal customers of this place. No need to search further yay!

I tried my best looking for a local place closer to Riverside. I tried multiple Hydro Colon Therapist and was about to give up and continue driving to San Diego. Then one day I saw a Groupon for "Healing Ways Spa," I called the number and had a very knowledgeable conversation with Terry, the therapist. When I met Terry she was very welcoming and by far I've had my best Hydro Colon Therapy sessions with Terry and I've been getting these treatments for almost 20 years now. Just know, no matter how amazing the HC therapist is, you may not always release on your first session. Hence why I NEVER "JUST DO ONE." I always do a series of 3 as back to back as possible and I've had my best sessions when I've been juicing for at least 3 days prior to my session and continue to juice while I'm going through my series. When we arrived, the receptionist claimed we didn't have an appointment. We showed her the text exchange and she confirmed the phone number. We also showed her proof of purchasing the Groupon. At this time, she suggests that we purchase another couples treatment in store. We declined, as we had already purchased a treatment. She then called the manager and asked that we speak with them. The manager then explained that they are not accepting the Groupons because the price is different when you purchase in store.... I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of a Groupon? Furthermore, one of the staff members confirmed the appointment and it's never been an issue before. I understand the price difference, however if you offer a Groupon for customers to buy, that should be honored. If not, remove the ad/Groupon from the website. Personally I feel as though they wanted to buy a whole new service in store rather than accept what we already purchased. Needless to say, I won't be returning. So, just as a heads up, don't purchase their Groupon. It won't be accepted.
