Absolutely I feel fortunate to have found them. Late one night the septic alarm went off for first time since we moved in 18 years. Stopping the blaring was not easy (because the malfunctioning alarm off switch, a mislabeled electrical panel, and more. Anyway, in the morning hubby called the septic company that most recently pumped our tank two years ago and was told about the diagnosis service charge and that they'd probably need a $600 pumping before they could work. And if they diagnose electrical (like pump or the alarm box), they need to call the electricians who'd have another service charge... in the meantime, I searched online and saw the rave reviews for Kitsap Septic. So, I called and was told it sounded like electrical issues (pump, floats, and the alarm box) and that it's doubtful our tank needs pumping! I was told to call Aquarius pump and they'll prob use a sump pump and then take care of things quickly, correctly, and at a reasonable price. (And if the tank does need pumping, they'll call him.) It all went exactly as expected. Aquarius Pump came e as to the next morning and got it working enough to use the plumbing, but said to fix it properly, he'd need to return to replace the pump and alarm box. In another couple of days, it was just a memory. Except we now have a fantastically honest and highly regarded Septic service who I feel about recommending!!! read more

We suddenly realized our septic tank needed to be pumped right away and called Kitsap Septic. We used them a year ago and were thoroughly impressed with their service. I've been lax in checking and clearing the filter and now we've literally paid for it. It isn't cheap to pump the tank but that's what the guys had to do. But let's go back in time to earlier this morning. When I called the office to set up the service I talked to Darren who was extremely friendly and was clearly dedicated to providing excellent customer service. He was hopeful his guys could show up today, which is exactly what they did. A two-man team, headed by Ross, arrived not quite two hours later. Ross is a jovial guy who laughs freely and shares his good spirits with you. I immediately liked him. He and his partner made quick work of pumping the tank even though the tank design presented problems, something other companies we've used have complained about. Ross gave us a refresher course in checking and cleaning the filter but just HAD to let us know that if I'd kept that filter clean we wouldn't have needed the tank pumped. In fact on the paperwork he left with our receipt, he estimated the tank shouldn't need pumping for another three years. So, now slightly poorer but much wiser you can bet I'll be keeping up on keeping that filter clean. read more

Whether its dentists, mechanics, or plumbing services, I'm always suspicious of being ripped off. The first guy from Kitsap Septic came by and gave my situation a lookover, and then Ross came by and took care of business. He went above and beyond with the initial overhaul my sepctic needed, and even came back and did some extra work to make it look nice. I had a separate issue that persisted with drain flies, and he came and made an assessment and took care of me at cost for just new lids. Guy is a real champ. I would highly recommend Kitsap Septic. I called to make an appointment for my elderly mother and arranged to be at my mom's property when they showed up. Austin arrived right on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't know exactly where the septic tank was located but he found it right away and went to work uncovering the cement lid. When scheduled they give a window of time they will arrive to your site (usually 2-hr window which is great in my opinion as you don't loose your whole day waiting for an appointment) and will call ahead to let you know they are on their way. I had scheduled for my septic tank to be pumped because I was awaiting for my drain field to be replaced. They arrived as scheduled and informed me that my tank was only half full and suggested that I wait until it was fuller to have it pumped. I took their advise and will wait to have it pumped.
