I used this company for 3 years. initial inspection I asked for a phone call to let me know when they would be here. No phone call and when they did come out they left the cap off one of my laterals which I did not see until the lawn mower found it. I thought well ok maybe it was a mistake and i bought a new cap and let it go. 1st year, I ask for a call to let me know when they will be here. No call AND they came out, I was home they asked me if they could use my hose to rinse off the tube they stick down everyone tanks I said yes thinking they would rinse it off over the yard where it could be watered down but no they rinsed it off in the street about 15 minutes before the bus was to come to drop off kids from school. I asked if they had something they were going to pour on the black top to kill the bacteria in the effluent, bio hazard matter that they had just rinsed and left in the street. I was told no they did not carry anything like that with them. I ran in the house and got bleach and vinegar I had to run out there with bleach to kill the bacteria and then rinse it down as much as possible before the kids came running thru it. After they left I also noticed they did not put any of the screws back on the lids of of the septic tank itself and had to call for them to come back to put the screws back. 2nd Year I ask for a call to in form when they are coming out. This time they did call and Patrick comes out to service my tanks one of my laterals doesn't work so Patrick tells me that I can shut the lateral off and open one at a time and "force" the pump to turn on by pushing the transducer further into the tank to trick it into thinking the tank is fuller and needs the pump to turn on. My husband and I do this together and no pump turns on. Turns out the information Patrick had given me was incorrect and my pump turns on intermittently. So I set a time and pay to have them come out and put there machine on the box to force the pump on. Year 3, They come out and tell me that the transducer does not work and I need a new one. I was told the cost was $250.00 for the part. I was billed $300. 4 days after my husband ran the wire for the new transducer and I've been given the all clear my high water alarm goes off. I call and talk to the owner. I am told to check my toilets ( which I had but I did it again and checked all facets to make sure I did not have a water leak somewhere this is at approx 11:15am) and told to call back in an hour if I found no leaks. I called back for the next 6 hours with NO RESPONSE back to me at all. I call the "emergency" number they have on their answering machine, no response, no answer. At this point I am freaking out my tanks are not pumping out and this company who knows I have an alarm going off is not returning my calls. This was a Monday during normal business hours. I call again the next morning about 30 minutes after their posted business hours to finally get someone. They come back out and find that a rock had gotten into my tank and got wedged into the impeller. Now the only people who get into that tank are the septic people. Which I have seen drag their feet in the rocks and kick a few over the ledge. They billed me $150.00 for fixing a problem most likely caused by their own employees. When I questioned this, I was told that you are not suppose to put gravel near a tank lids. This is not true. First my husband is an inspector for construction. There are no rules that say this. In fact if you look up the do's and don'ts gravel is on the DO list. Needless to say at this point I am no longer using this company. I would suggest that you look elsewhere for this service if you have a septic system. This is not a good company to go with. After 3 years and multiple visits I have way more bad experiences than good. read more
